I didn't have a drop off location on my contract. The people in SF. Told me to drop it at any U-Haul location.

The grounds used to be kept up better, brush trimmed back and rat bait was put out around the grounds. That doesn't happen anymore and the water lines in my trailer was damaged by a rat and had to be repaired. I moved the trailer. The people that run the facility are very friendly.

Perla and the team there did a great job with both our short term rental of storage space and also the truck rentals for loading and unloading it. The Uhaul website/app is pretty bad for check in, so I was glad Perla was there to help upload information and pictures that were needed.

Don't need this Actually the app to your u haul is confusing and it never does what I need it to do. My recommendation is to update it. And make sure every process works when someone tries to do any mobile pick or vise versa And it's better to just call during business hours Never have any good results with help on the 24/7

The general manager was knowledgeable and definitely a 'people person'. The gentleman that processed the return was quick, efficient, and kind. Went out of his way to quickly get me process because I had a long drive after the return.

Employee was knowledgeable and knew how to listen and help. Got us what we needed and didn't try to sell up. Grateful for that. We will be moving soon and will gladly return to this location to rent what vehicle we will need to make this transition as trouble free as possible.

Vehicle was dirty. Windshield looks like it hasn't been washed in weeks, the back of the van had dirt all over it. There was sand and leafs in the front of the van. On the driver side there was wax all over. When returning at night no lights were on by the office or up front.

Unfortunately, the inside of the 15 ft. truck I rented was not cleaned out. It was covered with a fine reddish brown dust and was filthy. I had to sweep and dust the entire truck out before loading it and still could not remove all of the dust. I ended up having to cover the walls and floors with blankets and cardboard in order to prevent the dust from getting my furniture and other items dirty during transport. Secondly, the cab of the truck was also not clean. Thirdly, the parking break was very difficult to release. I had to get out of the truck in order to release it. Finally, the 6 blankets I rented from UHAUL were dirty and the plastic bag they were stored in was ripped making them useless to cover furniture and TVs etc. with. I spoke with the staff regarding these issues and was hoping they would offer me a discount or credit as I've been a loyal UHAUL customer for many years and have never had this experience before but no such luck. As a result, I will not be recommending this location to anyone.

Terrible experience the girl called my several times a couple minutes after 5pm (closing) and I returned the calls not knowing who it was as no voice messages were left. I finally got ahold of them the following week and found out I needed to pick up my cash deposit (I was told a check would be mailed) I went in 2weeeks later as this location is not close (2hrs away) to find it was mailed to the delivery location given on the uhaul and explained the PO will not deliver mail not listed on the box she proceeded to argue and tell me I was wrong and recommended me to goto the post office. No deposit was delivered at the address and driving to the post office during business hours is not possible nor would resolve this issue. I requested to speak to a manager and was interrupted by her husband while she was attempting to call a manager and was told I was a liar that nobody would call at closing and that she always leaves a messages. I spoke to the girl 2 weeks previously to my trip to pick up deposit told her I was not local and said I'd come by to get it and it was mailed to an unconfirmed address without an attempt to contact me now that I knew what this random number calling me without leaving messages was I would've immediately called to confirm any information. I tried calling to speak to the manager and got the same very unfriendly girl who told me to call back after 1pm I called at 1:15 and got the same girl with an attitude and this stress and drama isn't worth the 100$.. all around worst experience and I'd rather pay more somewhere elce as I ended up paying 100$ more in the end.

Check equipment before the customer is there to pick up. For me, we did not know that the electrical harness on the tongue of the trailer, was broken. Luckily, there was another trailer there that I could take, but the customer coming later in the day to pick up that trailer was going to be out of luck.

Just make sure the oil level is not low to ensure your vehicles remain reliable because probably most customers don't really care to inform you like I did .

Widen the entrance to the rental storage yard. Need a safe walkway from the storage to the office. There is not marked and there is just a rough trail that is not safe.

Upon returning to calif never got a receipt Was told no charge Never went over mileage And corp U-Haul have me 5 extra days at no charge .. but when returning U-Haul Bryce said I was see an 80 ish charge said there shouldn’t be any he said roomy said she would fix it Never saw a receipt

That $20 fee for dropping a key into a box is an absolute ripoff and for that reason alone, I would not recommend your business. If you cancel the idea, and instead, charge a reasonable fee of $5 it makes sense. Otherwise, the personnel were A plus excellent. Thank you. Shila VW

When I moved out of storage and asked the manager to stop my next automatic payment, I was charged twice for a unit I no longer occupied. I called them to correct the error on the first charge, and she said she already noticed they mistakenly charged me. She said she already reversed the charge. The next day, I was charged again. Both charges incurred an overdraft fee on my bank account, and my account is still frozen. When I called to inquire about the second charge, she blamed their faulty system and said she noticed I was charged again and had already reversed the charges. When I asked her to cover the overdraft charges, she said the mistakes were not her fault and she is sorry. When I said my review would reflect poor service, she started yelling at me and I hung up. I'm appalled that they knew they had made mistakes but never called me to warn me about the unplanned charges to my account. The management at this facility is shady. In addition to the fiasco described above, we had rented a truck to clear our storage for which they overcharged us. They tried to up the daily fee of rental, and when we pointed out it was more than the amount stated on the truck, they upped the mileage cost to $1,29 per mile, stating that is the weekend rate. It all seemed very fishy. I will not make the mistake of trusting U-Haul with my business after this. I'd rather pay more for respectful, honest treatment.

Didnt receive my final receipt via email, but was satisfied with my experience. It would be nice if there was a 4 hour discount. I only had unit for 4 hours and put less than 30 miles on it. 80 dollars, plus gas... and Uhaul gets an opportunity to rent it again? Seems a bit out of balance

It would be better practice to give the vehicle with a full tank so it can be returned that way. In my attempt to get the fuel gauge to where it was when I picked it up I had to put in 1,3 gallons for an 11 mile trip.

When I moved out there was a motorcycle blocking the entrance to the hallway that my storage unit was in. This made it extremely hard to move anything out especially my large boxes. I'm not positive but I believe it was the employee on duty's who was also rather rude to me when I went in to say that I had vacated my unit. I took a picture that I can send for proof if i am provided an email address. I hope this doesn't reflect on the other employees or my past experiences here as they have always been great up until yesterday when moving my belongings out.

The truck was parked in a dirt lot a block away, I didnt know or was told to inspect the truck on my own in a text. When I dropped off the truck the attendant noticed a small chip in the window, I do not know if it was there when I picked it up or not.

Gate access is very inconvenient with having to get out of vehicle to both enter and exit. Needs a remote device or poles where one can enter codes from their vehicles like most storage units.

Nothing! Romie and her team was so helpful! All have great attitudes and will do anything it takes to get the job done! Will be recommending this uhaul to all my friends and family. Side note I didn't know how to return the truck on line I called Romie she also didn't know the prosses told me she's never returned a truck through the website. She drove to the location on her lunch and we did the return together. Once we figured it out it was very easy. Words can not describe Romie she is a true angel!!

Leaving in Penn Valley, CA we wanted a storage place close to home. Romi and her husband were very nice and helpful they had a spot available that we could afford. They offer 24 hr access which was very important to us in the event of an emergency. I would recommend them to friends and family!

I booked on line and was quoted a price but was charged more when I picked up the truck . They said they had to bi the truck as one way even thou6i booked online to return it to the same location. They said the price would adjust itself when i brought it back. That did not happen. You shouldn't quote a price online for booking and then charge something totally different on pickup

Reservation clerk (1 800 go u haul) got my reservation at a site with no units available (Ridge Road, Grass Valley. Had to switch to Penn Valley. They didn't have the size I needed. Had to get 2 units

Love the facility and that they have a bathroom on site and dumpster to use if needed. Gate hours are awesome too except online it says gate access available until 10pm but the onsite person who lives there has said it's actually 9pm. Either way my gate code has allowed me entrance past 9pm and I went off the website and thought I could come ago up until 10pm.
