We have used the Walsinham U-Haul facility many times over the years. Always a good experience. Highly recommend the Walsingham U-Haul!

Otherwise, everything was fine; the truck was clean, ran well, and the young lady was helpful. Today, I left an item in the truck, the lady was helpful and retrieved it for me.

Donna B | Expérience généraleScheduled a pick up at 5:58pm. Business hours show they are open until 7pm. Arrived at location to pick up the truck at 6:30pm. I had set up a pick up to take place without a representative needed. Truck key was not placed in box for me, tried to call the manager 3 times and was ignored. It wasn't until someone else that "works" for her called and she finally called us back to say she was on the way. Received the truck at 7:00pm. Manager expressed that her "employee" left early for an emergency but we had witnessed the same manager leaving as we pulled into the parking lot. From what I understand now, this location is known for situations like this. I wish I had known this sooner. I highly recommend people use another location for rentals. They seem to not want to work a whole shift or take care of duties as advertised.

I had to get my own car and jumper cables to get it running. I did reservation through the app for a 24 foot box truck a furniture, dolly and a floor dolly with furniture blankets and it did not have any of that. This was a very disappointing experience. I will never use U-Haul ever again.
MAHADEO BThey had rented the unit I reserved. The one she offered me did not meet my needs. I had to accept one that did for an extra $100 a month. At the time I didn't have the time to shop around because I had to return the truck at a different location. Beyond aggravated.

I tried to pay cash that day, but she was too worried about her fingernails and she didn't wanna have to count her drawer at the end of the night, so I had to put it on my card to buy a lousy lock. You have kids working in a place and they shouldn't be the old owners. Dell and her husband were the best and now that they're gone, the place has gone to crap.

I moved everything out on 10/3/24 and called the U-Haul location on 10/4 to inform them that the unit was empty, so that they could have rented it again. The girl checked the unit and confirmed all was removed, and clean. During my rental, the electric access gate did not work properly. It would not accept any assigned access codes. I could only access my unit during office hours, as the staff needed to open and close the gate.

ROBERT HThe only thing I was unhappy with is I had a 10x25 which had two doors and they would only let me open one door and it was crazy it cost me extra money for helpers it caused me aggravation and this is over a course of a couple years he just kept telling me the second door won't open and he even came back and did a playhouse 90 showing me it wouldn't open meanwhile they had an auditor there one day and she was checking the units and I asked her about it and she said sure it opens and I'm like you're kidding me she's like no. Well now that old guy is gone and made a new girl there and she's great and she came out and opened it up for it and I'm so thankful but I'm really upset cuz I went 3 years not being able to have access to that.

VENUS MI felt like the milage calculator in the rental van wasn't honest. It seemed to calculate more miles than I had actually driven. While I could be wrong, it just seemed to calculate the miles particularly quickly, when I didn't feel I had driven that far. That said, the prices were fair and customer service was great.
DANIEL CHello Darla who offered me her help in EVERYTHING! From "Where does the van key go?" to" How do you turn it on? she was there all the way. She made me feel very comfortable in me not knowing a thing about driving a van. When I returned the van on the same day, another young lady assisted me as well. These two women are so kind and considerate! Thank you girls!!!!

Brittany was fantastic to work with coordinating the location of our storage unit for convenient loading into U-Box containers. The staff coordinated the delivery and pickup of the U-Boxes. Overall it was a perfect experience thanks to Brittany and her dedicated staff. I can say enough good things about U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Walsingham Park!!

Jeffrey LOnce I got to Tenn I got a vm from Ashley in largo office to let her know if we were moved out with $129 bal. But my son was there @ 5- 6p moving my unit out in person and spoke to her, she told him he could keep lock. So don't understand the vm. I did speak to after hrs operator who put notes in computer and straighten it out. Ty. I was a customer there for many years and always satisfied.
Nancy G | Expérience généraleWhen we filled up the gas tank, and checked it several times the gage never moved until we got on the road and began to drive. So we ended up filling it to a full tank instead of half. Agent at uhaul stated was against the rules to give us any kind of credit for this. While I understand this is not her rule, she was very accommodating, I think the company itself should take this into consideration, so no I would not recommend to friend.

She is very nice, professional, and I really appreciated her help with both rentals. Today, she was helping two very stressed out ladies select packing supplies when I arrived, and I could tell she had set their minds at ease too. Can't say enough nice things about her! The van was nice and new each time, the location is convenient, and everything was great. (The app/web stuff is awful, but the stuff your location can control is great). The app and web page, and the online pickup are very poorly executed. U-haul should just go back to a phone reservation system or start over on the tech.

I only give average stars for this location because I appreciate people who normally work at this location.

Although unfortunately as far as I am concerned that is all this location has to offer. Upon checking in for my storage reservation at the end of April I encountered a current customer inside the VERY SMALL office whom was in there complaining about his unit that was supposed to be "climate controlled" being too hot! At that moment I had reservations about following through with my check in but I was reassured by the employee that my unit was not located in the same area as the other customers unit and that the air is working fine in the location of my unit. I was still skeptical but she ensured me that it was fine, so I went ahead and followed through with the check in process. After putting my stuff in storage there were several times that I went by to get things out of my unit but was unable to because of the office being closed or the staff being gone for break. Yet this is supposed to be a 24 hour assessable storage unit that I came to find out as being 24 hour assessable ONLY with the purchase/rental of a key fob on the day I moved out! Another thing is, is you are supposed to be provided a gate code in order to enter the gate to access the inner storage unit! Yet I was NOT offered a key fob upon checking in nor was I given a gate code! But, all of those things are minute to what I was faced with upon getting my belongings out of the storage unit this past weekend...a mere 12 weeks and $250 a month later I go to get my stuff out and move it into my apartment...only to find that my stuff had mold on it!!! Yes that's right....MOLD!! And yet I was in a "climate controlled" unit that was assured to me by the lady who checked me in as working!! Well needless to say it wasn't working!! I will NEVER rent another unit here nor will I suggest this location to anyone I know!!

I had to supply a second phone number for verification, I did not have my phone with me so I had to go home and get it and return before I could complete the rental. I am in the system as a renter, have been for years, SHAME on uhaul for implementing this policy for your loyal customers, I didn't realize "no common sense policies" has spread to uhaul

So much time watching the blue bar on the screen move to the right! You need improved data speed on your servers, and better programming so that if something is not correct, it prompts the agent to put in what is missing. Better system training would also help.

So inconveniently I had to drive to another location that only had 1. The worst part is I had to drive to second location just to return dolly after returning truck to original location. Truck a/c only worked on high.

Doug M | Expérience généraleAs I shared in a previous review about this location regarding a rental truck, Dale and Gary Dixon are a dynamic duo when it comes to storage facility management! They are supportive, courteous, patient, and very friendly. The facility is well maintained- extremely clean from the overall grounds to the buildings housing individual storage units. One can see the respect and pride Dale and Gary have for their business. I would recommend this location for anyone who is needing to store memories, household items, holiday decor, or even a secondary vehicle (never knew this option existed until I saw a few cars on property neatly stored in outdoor spots.) Due to some unfortunate circumstances I ended the long term stay of the items held in storage. Dale and Gary made the process to move forward easy and were understanding of my situation. My items were held at their facility for almost 10 years with no damage or loss of any kind. In fact, after dropping off some items I didn't shut my unit correctly. That same night I received a phone call from Gary alerting me and was able to head down and correct the issue. That's service but also reassuring Dale and Gary treated my items as if they were their own. Again I would highly recommend this location for all your storage and rental services!

My items had a lengthy stay at the storage facility but it was time to let go and move on. Dale and Gary were very accommodating to me. I recently rented the cargo van and it was the perfect vehicle to help me move the last bit of items from my unit. If you're looking for a facility to hold memories, spare furniture, holiday decor, etc...this location is the best!! Extremely clean, grounds are well kept, pristine units and buildings, and above all - the service is top notch. Thank you Dale and Gary for being friendly, helpful, and supportive!

gary p | Expérience généraleUpon picking up my rental truck I was told the last renter did not fill it up all the way and I was receiving it at 1/4 tank and I would have to return at a quarter tank. Once I started the truck, it was on Empty below an 1/8. I went back in to get the rep out, she stated that trucks are never given out at what it needs to be returned at. Despite what clearly states on the contract and within the truck on the gas gauge sticker. I needed the truck for a move that day and didn't have time to deal with a neglegent I haul rep. Truck was returned at 1/4 so the next renter didn't have to deal with this issue. Overall I've had to rent Uhaul trucks for years and never had this issue. This location doesn't honor typical Uhaul policies.

Then management told me to make a claim for my units insurance rather than to let me know they would be looking into the problem. The associate I worked with was super nice and helpful but I certainly worry for the people keeping their stuff there. Somethings insurance can't replace.

After leaving my car in my spot in the rear for three weeks, as I drove out The engine light went on! Good Years service found a rat nest with all sizes in a nest and they had eaten the wires to the engine and to many of the wires to the vehicle. This caused me at the time a bill for almost $400. I have now purchased a new vehicle as I antisipate constant problems with the wires. Also earlier I reported that I was unable to turn the West corner with my motor home as there is a boat parked on that corner and the tight turn caused me to damage my brand new 2020 motor home on the drivers side panel with a damage of over $2500.I was told to use the other entrance on the East side. This is often blocked by cars trucks and the golf cart and trying a different entrance becomes impossible for a good length of time. On Monday I went to remove my motor home and saw many rodents running from the area. I have wiring of electrical also needing to be repaired. This manager needs to deal with the rodent problem before putting vehicles in storage as the damage is heart breaking. This is why the poor evaluation.
