Everyone I dealt with was fantastic, and extremely helpful
Jonathon GFar exceeded our expectations. After reading reviews, we weren't sure if we would get the same level of service as other competitors tout. Everyone was on time, phones were answered, and price remained the same. We were in a unique situation where we needed to load up our property and store it for an undetermined amount of time with an undetermined final location. No one else would agree to do this because they needed to be sure they could deliver their pods to the final destination. U-Haul said, no problem - we can deliver anywhere. And they gave me prices to hypothetical regions. After packing up 7 pods, they quickly delivered 3 more at the last minute before we closed on our house. The drivers on both ends were excellent at strategically placing the many pods at our request. Yes - the containers are small which can be a challenge for large furniture and appliances. Plenty of blankets to properly wrap and protect. We packed each pod so tight that shifting in transit was nearly impossible. Yes - you need to fold your blankets at the end and supply your own locks. End of story - this was the cheapest way to accomplish our move and we were very pleased with the service provided. But it is backbreaking labor!
Daniel CI reserved my storage unit online and the truck. I selected mobile pick for uhaul. That did not work so I had to go inside only to be told we can't reserve storage units online so nothing went through. I had redo the process over at the store. The representative did not tell us where our truck was or our unit much less how to use the card. I found the truck assigned according to my contract. We had a scheduled drop off time of 10pm but we wasted 15 min on the with representatives trying to get the map to tell us where our unit was located. He was not helpful we ended up finding it ourselves. But by that time we were 15 min away from 10pm so I had to get more time added (another 24 hours). If we knew where our unit was we would have unloaded in time. Than we didn't know we had to swipe or enter the access code the card in order to disarm the unit. So that added on additional time to the truck rental because I had to call again. The representative was also no help. We ended finding a note on the door on what we needed to do to disarm alarm. We unloaded gassed up and proceeded to the after hours drop off. I scanned the QR code got into my account only to see no truck on it only the unit. So yet again another call out. That representative sends a code and than I see truck listed. I proceed to his instructions of returning truck. I took pictures of odometer but got stuck on the odometer reading because the odometer on the truck I rent was lower than what was listed in the account. I grew more frustrated and started to cry when I noticed an after hours box. I selected and proof all was good. I turned in the keys in the drop box. You would think that was it but nope. I receive my invoice and noticed a fuel charge. And even the gauge on that invoice wasn't corrected. So I investigated and noticed the wrong truck number was on that invoice. The representative who helped me needs to find a different job. Moving is already stressful but to add on the difficulty of locating your unit at 9:30 at night with three kids and then not able to return truck adds on. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

MELODY MThis is my second time using U-Haul and will probably be my last. This location always has an issue. The rental box arrived on time to pack, but when it was time for pick up, I noticed my pick up date had been changed without any notice to me or consideration. I was told it was because they were very busy and had a lot of military families moving. We are also a military family who was also moving, but that was no excuse. That incident did interfere with our moving schedule. When asked for the situation to be rectified, I was offered a $50 refund, after spending over $1200. That was not acceptable to me.

Andre LEmployees were unprofessional. They had personal conversations while assisting me. Management (I assume because they had different shirts and could handle cash) walked back and forth behind them like wardens. The inside was cluttered, only one walkway cleared and no one said anything and the were 5-6 employees bring the counter and one other customer besides myself. I ended up waking over a pallet to get out of the store. Check engine light was on when I got the truck, which made me nervous the entire time. When I returned the truck the hours were different online and posted at the site. I had problems closing out with the scan code and even though people were inside I could get no assistance. The entire thing was a terrible experience from beginning to end. As a veteran with PTSD this did not help my stress level. I excited better from UHAUL.

The property was always beyond clean. The only reason that we moved out and to another space was price. The property was expensive and recently went up a little. We were able to find another storage that was nearly $100 less for the same size unit. If the price was lower we would still be there.

When I tried to get help, NO ONE returned my call. The management NOT the regional management. That is the exact reason I left & went to another facility. When I give access to my account for auto payments, it is a covenant of trust. It is NOT meant to give unfettered access to my personal bank account to withdraw the monthly payment at random times as it disturbs my ability to budget. This needs to be improved.

I got charged a refueling fee (when I returned the truck with approximately the same amount fuel). In addition because of the long return process I only had an hour to get boxes in the unit. I used fifteen of those minutes trying to access the storage facility. Finally Adele from UHaul customer service was able to help. I got things situated with only four minutes till lock out time. The storage facility locks you out at 22:00. I finished at 21:56. Yet I arrived back at the UHaul center at 20:01.

It took almost 15 minutes to access the storage facility. I picked up the truck at 18:45. Arrived at the apartment approximately 10 minutes later. It took about 32 minutes to load the truck. About five minutes to add $10 (about 3 gallons of gas). It took about 7 minutes from gas station back to UHaul. Took approximately 15 minutes to unload onto the bay. Took an hour to get through the return sequence (on top of which UHaul wants to charge me $25 for gas. I received the truck with approximately 3/4 of a tank. I returned the truck with approximately 3/4 of a tank. Wasted precious minutes trying to access the storage area. If not for Adele I'd be sleeping in the car with my mom and son. (It's a VERY small four door car). I barely made the cut off. I finished getting everything into the unit (a 5×5) before 22:00. I actually looked at my watch. It was 21:56 when I locked the unit. But it's not shut correctly. Something was preventing the slide from going into the slot. So I'm going to have to go back at some point today to correct that. Something I don't need on top of the disaster yesterday. I've only gotten about 11 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours. So I didn't need the app telling me they're going to take an additional $25.00, an hour return process, and a storage facility access situation.

I was under the impression it was a storage for RV'S only. Was I proved wrong. Did not get the chance to move to the new area. The old was a mud pit everytime it rained. A time or two could not walk in the 2-3" deep in mud. Not to mention the rate increases. Guess that's how they got the funds to upgrade.

It wasn't until a week after that I was able to secure the unit with a lock they provided. Then I had cleaned it out and moved everything into another storage unit on the same floor they had noticed. The reason this is awesome is because they called me and did not want me to be charged for a unit I was not using. I seriously would recommend this U-Haul to anybody in need. This place is always helpful with employees who are real kind people. I honestly thank all the employees who work there.

I'd issues from the very beginning and if I could've moved my services I would've but I did everything online and therefore was obligated to stay. The storage unit was extremely small compared to Public storage and when I asked to upgrade to a larger unit; I was advised they didn't have any available but the unit directly across from mine which was larger was vacant. The code to get into the storage area never worked for my unit but when I went to the other side my code worked which is where the facility is non secure. The manager has her boyfriend working at the facility, who brought his younger brother to work which the younger brother shared with me that he had been there 3 months at the time but he didn't know a thing about his job description. When I'd asked him about my code which wasn't working and if he could give me a ride back over to the office after walking over there twice before he stated that he wasn't certain if he could give me a ride and didn't know what to do about my code. Overall, don't utilize this storage facility avoid the huge headache. Run!!

Recently we had our trailer broke into and when I told management about it she seemed like she didn't care and was quick to try to get off the phone. If they provided better security we would have stayed as a customer. We were one of the first to move in there when they opened. Prices have increased significantly but security of our unit was the reason we are no longer a customer. Our trailer was not the only one broke into during this time, there were several next to ours.

She said she couldn't do anything and it was my fault something was wrong with my account. I have always paid on time and there should be no problem with my account. I would've taken my business elsewhere but it would cost more to re-rent the moving truck. However I will be sure to let everyone I know that I had a horrible experience at this place. And recommend that they and everyone they know go elsewhere for storage

So I couldn't unload the truck. I was very upset. They wouldn't let me leave the truck there, they stated that they couldn't be responsible for the truck. They were going to be closing in 15 minutes. I had to park the truck in a Walmart parking lot. I slept in the truck, because I wasn't going to leave my things unprotected. They sent me to another uhaul storage on the other side of town. Then they charged me for the extra miles I put on the truck , that wasn't my fault it was uhaul fault, because I took it to the uhaul store I was scheduled to take it to. I should have gotten a credit for that. I am so mad and disappointed in your company. That is bad business and show little concern about the customer.

When my husband told the person at the front desk, her reply was we informed all of our customers this was going on and installed more security cameras. My husband responded that we were not informed. She basically blew him off after that. Our mechanic also had his motor home stored there and it turned out his catalytic converter was also stolen and he didn't receive any notification there was an issue.

They went out of their way to make sure I understood everything about unloading my trailer into their storage facility. They and one other Uhaul employee helped me straighten out a wrong trailer hookup from my point of departure, to a reservation for a UBox from a Uhaul dealer that has no UBox rental or storage at her facility, to waiting long hours on hold and getting disconnected after waiting over an hour multiple times, to local UHaul dealers who never answered their phones so when National UHaul picked up the call, they could not help me with information about a specific facility. It's been an ongoing nightmare and THIS UHaul was the bright and shining light through the entire debacle. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service above and beyond.

I was no showed four times in a 24 hour period by my movers. They finally showed up on Saturday and we began moving items out at 6 pm. At 6:30, we were told that we would need to move everything back in the unit that was out in the hallway and leave the building. I said that I had access until 9 pm and that I had been doing this all weekend and was exhausted. I stated my things would be out as soon as possible. The manager said that I was allowed access but not my movers and they would have to stay outside. I told him that was ridiculous. He made the same statements to another family who had just showed up to move their items in and also had a key card. The manager called the police. The officers were actually the ones who told me that the key card machine was not working. I signed a contract. If the key card was not working, the manager should have stayed and facilitated. He is the manager of the building. He wanted to go home at 7 and not do his job. This experience was stressful and embarrassing and I will tell everyone I know never to use U haul. I have contacted your corporate offices via email and have put reviews on every site I can and will continue to do so.

Meanwhile he let other people move there furniture who were not black. Then he called the police on me...1 man my wife and my 10 year old son in flip flops. By the way I only had some tires, which were already on a cart and 3 bikes to move in. Completely Terrible Customer Experience.

This time as I was closing my storage unit, I unpacked the locker and left items I no longer wanted in the community share area and moved the rest to my new home. After I turned in the vehicle, I proceeded to check out of the storage. I was told that I had to move the items that I left , and that I would be charged a fee for leaving items. There was no sign stating this new rule and I asked where was the posted sign and info, there wasn't one. So I had to rent a truck to take away four items to a dumpster 3 miles away, costing me another rental and miles for no reason, at least not one that was posted. Forcing customers to spend more money after already paying 104 was indeed bad customer service and staff were not willing to work with me even when they failed to produce a sign or the new rule in writing. Last time I did A Uhaul storage outside there weren't any bugs on my things. When I told someone, he said it's an outdoor unit and they spray but bugs are going to be on my things. The customer service was either frustrating or good, not consistent. When I called And asked to cancel my storage after I moved my stuff out, a worker said I had To come in person even though I stated I cant Be there in person. He acted as if nothing could be done and i must be in person or id continue to get charged, he didn't even try to talk to anyone about it. I called Again the next day and the manager reassured me they already marked me as moved out and there were no addt. charges. So the lack of communication and inconsistent answers was not the greatest. There's a air conditioned facility a couple miles away that offers lower pricing for the same size unit and I wouldnt Have to worry about bugs. Uhaul pricing is higher than their competitors. I marked It average for the initial waived late fee and for the confirmation of move out without any other charges since I was Before my next payment due date but this location is not consistent in any way.

Our storage became infested with roaches which was the reasoned we had to move out to another storage facility. I feel the insurance policies should be changed to cover insect infestations and where the parties affected are compensated in some manner (ex:free Uhaul move out, reimbursement...). Our move took extra long from 10am-10pm due to us having to shake out all our belongings and to disinfect.

That video makes it look super easy and maybe I'm not strong enough to pop the plastic. I also wish they would have let me know what to do on my first visit. I figured out after my 2 year old daughter was traumatized that the most God Awful alarm sounds, which I believe is triggered by motion on a floor if someone isn't checked in? However I didn't see anyone head over to investigate, or check out what was the matter, so we walked out the front and we were going to call someone thinking maybe it was a fire alarm and then read on the key code box failure to check in and out results in denial of admission. I punched in the code I was emailed and went back up with scissors and then came back down and the alarm went off again. I know now not to bring my kids with me. Went down and punched out and left. Pretty sure there are others that are clueless as to the checkin process like myself. I know in the email it states to enter your code for building access. However, the automatic doors were not locked. So, using the word access is misleading. Even the video shows the gentleman punching in his code in order to open the doors. Just some thoughts on qaysto ne a little more helpful.

We are in the military and move a lot and have always used uhaul but after the experience with Augustine and his employees I would not use them ever again. We ordered a large storage unit to be given 2 separate units on the opposite side of each other making it harder to unload the truck. With COVID I understand restrictions and limitations however their recycle and reuse stated can be used just no mattresses and couches. We adhered to the posted signs that was typed and tapped on the walls to be told rudely in an intercom that we would be charged 200 for using said space and following the signs. After my husband who had to go the manager Augustine it was explained that we weren't doing anything wrong as we followed the sign however they don't want us to so others won't do it and do it wrong. It astonishing that we are being threatened to be charged for someone potentially doing something wrong after us. This could have easily been corrected if they simply change the sign. Due to the accommodations and not having enough space is why we had to downsize and "donate" or use the recycle section. I had to let go of furniture I didn't want to. The manager offered us free 30 days for another storage unit. I shouldn't need another just to have to pay more money monthly. A free month on another storage would not help with the dilemma that this facility caused.

The limited electricity was worse than useless. The roof collapsed in my stall and the 2 hour power I had between the hours of midnight and two in the morning was not satisfactory even when it worked. The manager did everything he could do to make things right not only with me but many other customers as well. He can't do anything when corporate could care less about cudtomers needs and need for facility repair. Last the policy not to refund partial months rent is unacceptable. I paid $190 plus dollars amonth for my parking. When I vacated I was only into that month a few days. Both parking spaces were rented minutes after I vacated and got Zero refund. Again yet corporate not caring about the customer. Please give me a call I'd like to discuss this with corporate.

Helped actually save my Thanksgiving by informing me I didn't have to drive a Truck back, but could deliver it in within the city we are moving to at a Uhaul there. Much appreciated. Storage facility was clean and we were appreciative. I was a bit concerned the Storage Unit didn't have cage wire between units to prevent people from crawling in. Fortunately nothing happened. At the site I was supposed to drop off the Truck, either their scan bar didn't work, or the online site wasn't working in College Station at the drop off location. We fueled our truck at the Exxon by the Uhaul in College Station, we locked up the Truck, and we dropped the keys. Either the College Station site scan bar or the Uhaul Online App wouldn't allow us to scan the site for online Night turn in. We really tried hard. Our phone had all the right settings turned on, we were in the dark and freezing cold with small children trying to make the online app scan the Truck drop off site in College Station function properly, but it wouldn't work so we had to drop the key without completing online drop off. All the people at the Converse Uhaul were wonderful, the site clean and safe, and everything was easy to accomplish there. I appreciated the extra dollies in the storage facility for going up the elevator, really made life easier. And Mr Reyes saved our Family Thanksgiving which we a dearly grateful for to at Thanksgiving all of us together!!

We were unable to go due to being high risk for Covid 19. The company charged us two extra months for the unit despite being moved out already just because we Medically could not come remove it. Very insensitive that you will make us choose to either die or pay a couple of hundred dollars. I will never use U-Haul again
