Why am I not getting the actual receipt? I received three "Estimated charges" receipts in the email, but have not received the actual receipt. This is the third time I have rented trucks this month, and have not gotten the receipts. I had to call for the previous two.
David JThe equipment was nice, but the location was hard to recognize. Check-in person was fine and helpful. Check-out person was rather off putting and took a moment the show some customer care.
David DThat location still never close my account to end the rental and it's been returned since 5/12/ 2025 at like 630 at night. I'm concerned because they never finished and took my payment of like $46 that was due. I feel like it was very unprofessional. The order never got closed and I hope in the end they're not trying to charge me extra fees, and the truck has been with them since before it was even due back.. i've also talked to U-Haul customer service about it twice.

David JNo one answered the bell for a while. Perhaps he was in the bathroom. Had to call customer service and change the reservation to a different truck which was staged (had the key in the box). Check in required pictures, but they uploaded without incident.
David JLate night check in was easiest ever. No pictures, just put the key in the box.
David JCharged me for moving blankets that i did not request and when i submitted that i did not agree with the charges no one contacted me.

SONDA HOnline check in wouldn't work. Live chat person refused to help me and kept disconnecting from the chat. Employee at the store inquired about my political affiliation and the berated me about it.

DESIREE MI was not sure if the staff at the counter worked with uhaul. He was mean when i had reconfirm. Since I was told to give him the key directly instead of putting it in the box.
MANAV MNever a line, gets you in right away but a liyttle slow on the processing of the paperwork.
Roger RNot the locations fault, but the app and website for 24/7 pick up did not work at all. Couldn't find my location as I was standing onto he property. Major pain. Took longer than expected because an associate had to help me complete pick up over the computer.

BAILEY MThe location was awesome, my only gripe is how sucky and unhelpful the mobile stuff was. The app didn't work, so a quick mobile check in turned into an hour of ending up having to talk to people a bunch anyway! I would've skipped the mobile stuff if I knew! But the man at the front was extremely helpful and walked us through the info and helped us out, he's the goat for that.
Layla CTook almost 1 hour to give truck key even with online reservation. I do not recommend to any and also I never ever come back to this location in future reservations.

Dusty HI believe this location is just trying to earn a few extra bucks. This is a drive thru that I had a hard time getting the owners attention. It took almost 30 minutes from the time I got to the lot and the time I was able to finally leave to pack up. The app closed out before I was able to enter the odometer or take photos. I had to call Uhaul to reload the app so I could finish checking out. Not a good experience. To top it off, it was 9 degrees out with a negative wind chill.

TERRT TGood thing there was a person to move the checkout along. The online checkout and check-in is a great idea, but between the number of photos that have to be uploaded and the questions, it is just frustrating.

Chris DThe online sign up process is a pain. And customer service was not helpful at all. The van I had had a digital gas gauge and I miss read it as full and it was only half. When I called and told customer service what happened and that where pictures taken of the instrument panel they could see this. And I ended up filling the tank up she said oh well.
Mark HFix your return part of the truck. It charges me an additional $20 to return it without the self check in. Your app would not allow me to do it. I am very upset I have to pay an additional $20, to the pint where I will no longer rent anything from U-Haul again. A absolute total ripoff. The location was awesome

I had trouble with the app when returning the truck and that same U-Haul representative took care of the return documentation even though he was leaving work when I returned the truck. This was great service and I would definitely recommend this location.

Cheryl SMy review isn't about the rental truck. My review is about your storage unit rental. I rented a unit at the Burkhardt Road facility. I went there with 2 paid movers and a truck full of heavy items, furniture and boxes. The unit I was rented was 336. There isn't a 336 unit! When I tried to get help at the facility there wasn't anyone in the office. Your website says there is someone there 7 days a week by the way. When I tried to call for support I was given options that did not refer to the storage unit. I finally just picked one of the options referring to truck rental and was able to speak to someone who passed me on to customer service. After that I had to suggest to the agent is there another storage facility in the area I could unload my truck. They gave me a phone number to call. I called the Linden Avenue facility who said they didn't have any units available but I would have to physically come to there facility to have my payment switched to an actual unit at the Burkhardt Road facility. I went to the Linden Avenue facility. I told the woman my name (the same information I could have given her on the phone) then she switched my code and gave me another unit. At no time did I give her any information I couldn't have given her on the phone. WHY does you company make it so hard on the customer!! I ended up having to pay extra payment for the movers, the movers load the truck again for me to take items to the dump ( I am a 68 year old female and I had to unload the truck at the dump by myself) then I was late returning the truck to the Wright Spot Drive Thru, due to your extremely poor customer service. I feel I deserve compensation for the additional payment of my movers, mileage and time I was charged on the truck rental. I deserve at least a free months fee on the unit.

Will LThe mileage fee is too expensive. I would have used a Load and Go from Home Depot if it had been available. Their mileage fee only kicks in after a set amount of miles. I rented a U-Haul truck only because I needed to get something moved quickly. As it was, I only drove 56 miles and returned the truck in less than two hours. In the future I'll only consider U-Haul if it's the only option.
peter wTook some time returning the truck a day early. The charge for the blankets was removed. Was charge an extra $29 for being over the mileage limit, which I didn't know about? Is something new for one way?
