The only problem i had was a tire with a slow leak, it had to refilled 3 times during the 10 day rental. The tire was marked that it had a slow leak when the trailer was returned and told the u-haul rep about it.

TONY MIt was a drop off location . We fueled up across the street, parked the truck and put the key securely in the locked box. UHaul called me this morning to say they had the truck and all went well. We were there shortly after their 3 pm closing!
ELLEN EGreat staff and location. Easy in and easy out. Looks like you could get a quick car detailing in if you leave yourself enough time!

BRYAN CI was lied to for days about late fees and was surprised to find an almost 450 dollar bill when for 3 days I was told it was a 40 dollar late fee. I was told the only fees I would have was 40 dollar late fee plus any mileage I went over. Instead every day I was late they charged me like it was a brand new rental. It would've been fine but the information I was given was radically different then the charges that tried to hit my account. I've now lost my bank account because I am not paying that. If they keep pursuing the charges I will be taking them to court.

JAMES NCould not drop trailer off Saturday night as they were closed and unreachable. Same on Sunday. Dropped off Monday to get extra 2 day charge with no leniency.
DOUGLAS AI've rented U-HAULS from Monnetts in James City and was NEVER charged more than I was supposed to be nor separate!!! People were nice and helpful, the truck drove awfully hard. Very horrible experience as if the front end was messed up. I paid for insurance just encase and was told I still had to pay 450 to get out wet grass 2 feet from hard surface. I was told and have a receipt stating that all my charges on all were $244.?? Yet, I have 3 other charges separate from that end total that's still pending on my account that is supposed to be included in that ending balance total!!! The ladies were amazing at the location.

DENNIS CYour system is flawed . I never received my code to retrieve the key from the lock box. Spent 25 min on hold for someone to finally tell me to do it through the app, already had tried that multiple times. Finally got my truck almost an hour late . Returned it an hour early , app crashed in the middle of my return/taking picture. Oh and when I picked up the 26 ft truck it had less than a 1/4 of a tank of fuel

mark sThe first trailer we picked up was not installed properly and actually came off the hitch on our way home. The second trailer we received had 10 pounds of pressure in one tire, which we luckily caught when we got home and started loading. The fact that we received a second trailer was not recorded anywhere, which caused the destination UHaul (and us) issues. In the past, when we have rented trailers, we would receive a call the night before with instructions, etc. - which is what the email communications indicate - which did not happen. Honestly, when we rent a trailer again, we would not utilize this place again, and would drive much further to obtain a more knowledgeable rental agency.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the parking lot is small and I don't know if they can offer all the services a U Haul facility can like boxes and other shipping supplies. I didn't see any in the office. But it was convenient enough for my trailer return.
