STEPHEN HWe had to go to 3 locations to get a clean truck. One of the trucks we rejected looked like it had been used to haul loose gravel. Lots of gravel and dirt. Another had a pile of dirt from a potted plant and lots of trash. We picked up a truck at the third location just before closing. They were friendly and efficient. No reflection on them, but 1 1/2 hours later, now at home and after dark, we got a message from uHaul to confirm the license plate number and any preexisting damage to the truck "within 30 minutes of pick-up." We cleaned the cab before heading on our long drive across the border.. We found 3 old air fresheners hanging in the truck that had coupons on them that expired in 2014. 10 years ago! We had no sense of confidence that the truck had been maintained by uHaul. It turned out to have absolutely no window washer fluid which we discovered in the dark and at the beginning of a lake effect storm when splatter on our windshield could not be cleaned. Good grief. We feel real fortunate that we made it to our destination. Worst UHaul experience we have ever had out of many moves.

PAUL AMake sure that tires are in good shape. Trailer tires were down to the wear bars in my opinion that is poor maintenance of the trailer.

LeeMunros GNothing. This is probably the best location I have rented a U-Haul from. Only thing is, I wish I found it sooner. The most helpful staff I have ever encountered at a U-Haul counter.
Bojan BStaff was wonderful. Speedy check out. However the pickup was full of cigarette ash. When using the a/c had to also roll down windows as the smell of cigarettes was very evident. I was unaware smoking was allowed in the vehicle.

peter sThe trailer was covered in mud on the outside. It was caked on the front of the fenders as well. And o e of the tires was worn to the wear bars on the inside. Tthe inside had dirt and mud in it when I picked it up. They did sweep it out but the floor had a film of mud. I had to put cardboard over the entire floor as we were moving furniture.

Even the rep I spoke to on the phone when I was a bit confused about the process was so kind and easy to talk to. (needed this rental to move personal items after a death in the family so my brain was not particularly sharp that day)
