Excellent customer service, specifically the Uhaul Rep was very helpful, I got my Uhaul on time, and was on the road to get my move started.

PAUL OAfter I went through the check-in process, the owner took the key home with them, so there was no pick up from this location. I had to spend another hour to reroute my pick up.
Zolandria VOther than cutting the vehicle on and off to see the fuel level, there was no way to determine fuel level. The estimate on the rental form did not arcuately indicate how much fuel was needed to bring the tank to the proper level! I was not reimbursed for the fuel over the required return level.

Tom HPlease advertise better the fact that your insurance is mandatory. This $15 is a hidden fee which we were told about minutes before signing!
SIDNEY PI reserved my truck at a location closer to my home but was asked to go to the brook road U-Haul. 35miles out of the way. Then only given 32 miles for the reserved time. There are over 2 U-Haul locations in between, so this was incredibly inconvenient. The lady at the brook road office went above and beyond to help me out. I cannot say enough great things about her! She called and got mileage added and apologized profusely.

Robert LHowever, I ended up paying $70 more than I expected to pay because it said $19,99 on the side of the van. I was not informed that the rate was $89.00. I would have been shocked, but would have probably still rented, but wouldn't be surprised at the end. It felt like bsit and switch to me.

Helen GI had used UHaul a few years back and the experience was nothing short of a train wreck! The truck wasn't at the designated pickup location. I couldn't access the app and getting someone on the phone was even harder. I had to go to another location to get a truck. The return was just as bad. I felt as though with all the mishaps and poor customer service I would never use UHaul again. The drop off location had not sympathy to my situation. I was not happy!!!!!! I was hesitant to call UHaul again but did it anyway. I'm glad I did because the Brook Road Location in Richmond Va is being run by top notch caring professionals! This rental was without incident! They treated me with great customer service and respect! Marvin and his staff are great to work with!!! I will go through them in the future!! Thanks
