I use U-Haul on a regular basis and until this latest rental I have never had a bad experience with U-Haul or any of its dealers. I believe the were two factors that made this rental a very frustrating ordeal. First, by a U-Haul policy this dealer has equipment not available to other dealers in the area, this is a bad policy on every level. In my case this gave the dealer a "take it or leave it" attitude and they didn't need to be concerned with customer service. U-Haul needs to rethink how and why they anoint one dealer over all the rest. In this case there are many more deserving dealers in the area. The second factor was an employee that should not be in a face to face customer service role with the public.
GREGORY MThe young man told me to just drop the trailer and did not take any information. I was called 3 days later saying I was overdue. I told the lady I had dropped it off 3 days ago and where it was located. I guess she found it and entered it in the system because I received an email with my receipt. Obviously the young man did not document my returning it or communicate with the other staff.
Ronnie GThere were a few blemishes on the outside of the trailer - which we would expect. The staff are great at this location and helpful with attaching the trailer to our truck. We have used them often and it is always a good experience.

ROBERT WI needed the trailer to move furniture so I reserved a dozen blankets when I arrived the dealership had zero blankets so I had to buy them at Harbor Freight costing me more than the trailer rental The trailer also had a towing issue as it constantly fish tailed most likely a axle alignment issue As this was a short move it made ok but long distance would be a pain

KIRK NPoor attitude. I completed the entire process on line before arriving. The staff said it wouldn't work because it was an in-town rental and the entire process was repeated. I had a certificate that they would NOT accept without a credit card. The certificate could be used after return which was OK. They never got back to me until I called to make certain my certificate could be used instead of a Credit Card.

KRISTA CThe tires on the trailer I rented were in terrible shape. They were missing pieces of rubber and were long overdue to be replaced. The tires were out of round which caused the trailer to bounce and shake while towing on a smooth surface. The trailer needs tires ASAP!
JASON PU-Haul was filthy, inside and out. Very dirty windshield with one large and one small crack. U-Haul definitely needed to be taken out of service and have some transmission work done too. I made it to my destination thankfully though. The lady at Uhaul pickup was very kind

dani fPartly my fault for not accurately checking the fuel before driving away. Only 1/8 of a tank to start. Something like 43 miles to empty! The ticket said 1/4 tank to start. Brought back with 1/4 tank and got charged $10 for the tank level being between 1/8 and 1/4. Will not use this location again. I normally use the location in Kaiser, MO (Magic Dragon) and his trucks are always filled up or at least 3/4 full. I rent trucks at least 1 or 2 times a month from Uhaul.
