Joseph BWhen I was trying to schedule for a u-haul, the guy's computer kept losing my information. He also kept listing my old address from where I live years ago in Colorado. I told him over and over I didn't live in Colorado. Then I look at my receipt and it clearly said Colorado. I go to the drop-off location during the day and it was closed and their number was no longer in service. I did not like the drop-off experience at all. No one to guide me through the experience. I don't think I would be using U-haul again. This was by far the worst for me. I kept calling the 1800 U-haul number and kept getting transferred.

Fredrick SChris started the contract for the auto transport on the same day as the truck rental, although he knew I wasn't/couldn't pick it up until 2 or 3 days later. Consequently, I was charge for extra days on it, which I wanted credited to my credit card. We did need extra days for the truck, since we couldn't get possession of our new home as planned. I look forward to confirmation of this.
MICHAEL TThe truck I had was very loud and shakes through out. he alignment was off. My ears are currently painful due to the noise coming from the truck. Poorly maintain. Great customer service but poorly maintain trucks
Peter NThe truck/trailer was great. The representative was helpful and knowledgeable. U hauls bad technology and pad kept not working making it harder for the location to actually rent me the truck. It was the technology, not the guy operating it, that made things take longer than it had to.

Kevin JMy experience wasn't horrible, it was actually as expected. I'm renting a trailer, Uhaul provides a trailer, simple enough. The issue which lead to many disturbing follow ups is that I made a reservation, and when I arrived, something apparently was wrong with my reservation and the Uhaul representative cancelled it and made a new reservation for me. While doing so, there must have been a miscommunication because I was doing a one way trip originally, and he made it for a round trip. When he asked when I'd be returning the trailer, I told him I only needed a few hours and was just using it to move a car. A few hours is the time it takes me to get from Rayleigh NC to Columbia Sc. I didn't return the trailer the 1st night upon arriving, and I asked my son to take the task of returning the trailer. He was home from the Navy for the holidays. He left Jan 9th. The trailer was returned sometime before the 9th but neither my son or I am sure exactly. Since then I've received several charges to my card. I explained to the NC Uhaul that the trailer was returned, and there was an issue with my original reservation. They kept charging me, and I just noticed these charges last week and alerted my bank.

Timothy BI recommend anyone who is in need of a uhaul please go see Chris at Clayton tire shop on highway 70 in Clayton next to Clayton highschool. He was so kind, respectful and transparent about everything upfront. Chris was polite he definitely cares about his customers. He has amazing spirit about him. I want to thank him from my heart in the midst of moving and dealing with life he help me make lemonade and said smile it will get better. Also to owners wife I think she is. Thanks you so very much for your kindness and compassion!! Best service I've had in a long time. I will see you soon when I need to move again!! Eric TWhen I went in all of their units were on reserve, but the one I needed wasn't getting picked up until Monday. (This is Saturday) I only needed it for a couple hours at the most. They were very quick to accommodate my need. I had the van for about an hour and a half, cleaned it up, filled the tank and returned it. Some of the most pleasant people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I wish I could remember the ladies name that took care of me. She was so sweet and funny. Absolutely loved the experience and will definitely use this location the next time I need a u-haul! Merry Christmas!
Charles AThe app has problems that are UHaul problems, not the location. Was unable to take pics in the app of the vehicle condition as required by the app so I was forced to submit black images. I fought with app for several minutes. I used the locations wifi so it couldn't be their fault. Chris from the location was excellent in helping us over the phone to make things go as smoothly as possible on their end: extended mileage as necessary and provided an extra day. Super friendly and helpful.

Eloise HWe rented the U-Haul for Thanksgiving weekend. When I talked with the gentleman at Clayton tire, he assured me all I had to do was open the app when I was there are then I would get a code for the key box. The app would not let us complete the pick up so we had to go back the next day. Well then U-Haul cancelled our reservation. Clayton tire still had the truck thankfully but we were charged double what we originally reserved it for.
