It's a one lane storage unit that has extreme ravines on each side which was extremely difficult to navigate a 26 foot trailer. Not well lit.

Dirty old gas station site with lots of debris in the trailer ; minimal if any support from local staff. Remote location from town.

The agent was unable to check me out effectively and it took about 30 minutes to complete my transaction. Also the trailer leaked onto my equipment requiring extensive cleaning and maintenance.

Was charges for an extra rental day for bringing the truck 20 minutes late. They should have notified me and allow me to either keep the truck for the extra day or waive the extra charge.

I returned the truck with the fuel re-filled to the original level, but still was charged a fuel fee of $23.75. I have pics of the original mileage, the return mileage and the fuel level. My contract showed where the fuel level should be upon return (half full), I re-filled it to just over half full, yet they still charged my card for additional fuel. I expect my card to be refunded the $23.75.

They added extra charges I didn't ask for. Offered me to leave the keys over night without letting me know they were charging extra for that. Added 2 days that I didn't even used nor scheduled. I even brought it back10 hours before the time frame of my rental. They added coverage that I never asked for. Trying to get money from clientes thinking we won't look at the bill. The truck didn't even had the equipment to help carry heavy stuff that others I had rented before. Charging me an extra $130 dollars for a total of $210 something that I was informed would be around $70 only drive 44 miles and used it for about 13 hours.

Upon going to pick up the vehicle, location had rented out the 20' truck on my "guaranteed" reservation to someone else instead. Fortunately, I was able to accommodate taking a 15' truck, otherwise that could have presented a serious problem. Lady was nice about it but there was no mention of the $50 reservation guarantee or crediting of the $50 towards my invoice for having rented out the "reserved" 20' truck to someone else.

Online pick up does not work well. The location has numerous problems, including the system being down. They had to call "corporate (or whoever)" and have them do the entire reservation for me even though everything was supposed to already be set up. It was a little bit of a mess.

I was told the truck would be at a location 2 mins from my house. It was actually about 10 mins away. Not bad, but it was a busy gas station with only one employee working. Another woman in front of me had to get a trailer and was told someone would be on site to assist. Nobody was, the had to be at a location within 30 mins so I helped her get the trailer hooked up. The entire process took me almost an hour. Unsatisfactory all around. Makes me never want to rent Uhaul again.

The clerk did not inspect the vehicle, but on the receipt I was charged $25 for "cleaning". This is ludicrous. I lightly used the truck and cleaned out my debris (tape, tie downs, gas receipts) from the cab and bed. Rented blankets were neatly folded before return. Any "cleaning" was a result of previous use and the failure of the Uhaul renting location to clean it before renting to me (see comment above). Ludicrous is the most polite word I can use to describe this unjustified and abusive fee. You can be assured I will NEVER AGAIN use a Uhaul service if there is any alternative. You should ask what you can to to improve MY experience, not what you can do for the next customer. Your priorities are out of order. Serve the current customer first. What you can do improve (though it won't benefit the next customer) is refund me the unjustified and abusive fee that the return location is simply using to skin a little extra profit off a customer who was not given a chance to know or object prior to being charged with this slimy, dishonest, back-door pickpocketing. If I could rate you lower, I would.

Our final pick up location was not the one we reserved a truck through. We initially reserved it at one location in Santa Rosa Beach, I got a call the night before that there wasn't a truck available at that location and I had to go to one 8 miles the other side of it. Upon arriving at that location, there wasn't a person to help, just a phone number to call. I tried to go through the app to finish the process but was notified I had to call a different phone number. When I called that number they told me I had to go 40 miles in the opposite direction to pick up a truck. When we got there, I had had to go through so many different U-Haul processes that my account was blocked. Thankfully, the lady was patient and got my reservation processed. The truck itself had dirt, sand and a white substance spilled in the floorboard. The backend had not been swept out very well. All in all, a very difficult and frustrating rental experience. I was appreciative of the lady at our final pick up and drop off place. She at least tried to get us into the truck and had sympathy that it has been hours of driving around and sitting at 3 locations.

The clerk was rude and snide. Told us that we had to bring the blankets into the store ourselves or he could walk out there and get them and charge me $25 for him to do it. My husband and I are seniors and I wear a knee brace due to an injured knee. We carried the 12 blankets in and my husband tripped inside of the store over blankets that were already on the floor. Another customer came to see if my husband was ok, but the clerk just stared at my husband and didn't do anything. I will never use this location again and will be sure to let friends and family know what poor service this location is. This clerk should not be dealing with the public!

The person who rents the truck wasn't there,took over a hour..gave "my" truck to the wrong person & he had to come back with my keys then the truck on the app wasn't what I was looking because they "upgrade" to a larger truck I didn't need & this trucks AC was broken & THEN when I returned it the guy said "oh bummer you got the one with the broken AC..like they knew I wasn't going to have AC in Florida in july?!?!?! Not to mention the transmission sounded like it was going to blow up every time it shifted..I also got a hold on my card that I'm about to raise hell about

I returned the vehicle after hours using the online return portal and drop box. It was very easy to use and gave me an itemized receipt on the spot. Super easy and barely an inconvenience.

The location for the commanders mini storage is at least a quarter mile away from where the pick up location is for the uhaul. While it may be monitored by the commanders mini storage the location needs to be modified.

Charged for an extra day because of 43 minutes and charged for 1 extra mile, but this isn't even a valid drop off site. Tried calling multiple times with no answer the day before and morning of. Sat here needlessly only to find out I needed to leave it at a gas station down the street.

We preferred to drop the truck off at a location closer to where we were moving to, but the location got changed to a location 25 minutes away. We dropped off the truck at 9:00 PM. This location was not inviting at all. It was very dark and one little UHAUL sign on a pole. We never saw any sign that said Commander Mini Storage. I went to the neighboring gas station to ask a very rude clerk that rolled his eyes at me when I asked him if I could ask him a question. I asked him where Commander Mini Storage was and he said park the truck in this grassy field on the other side of the gas station. We felt unsafe and do not recommend this location.

Had to wait for multiple people buying cigarets and lottery tickets. Another customer helped me hook up and navigate around the tightly packed yard with inches to spare. No employees to be seen anywhere in the yard.

When you send a link to a customer to verify that they return the vehicle but yet there is no place to verify it on that link then the customer is charged $20 and that is a scam because it happened to me and it happened to somebody else I know.

Woman who checked out truck was great. She was friendly and multi tasked great. She had multiple people in locations. The gentleman who checked truck in complained about it and didn't want to look at before check in pictures and return pictures. Because of this the fuel was marked wrong and I'm being charged $66 dollars for fuel. I drove exactly 20 miles and had truck for 3 hours. I put $20 in gas which put it over what was In it! NOT HAPPY BECAUSE NOBODY CAN TAKE CARE OF THIS TODAY!

I rented a tow dolly. The tow straps had been ratched into the ratchets with all th excess strap wound inside the strap that it took me nearly 40 minutes to loosen them enough to get the straps free because it wasn't checked when it was turned in.

We were unable to lift the trailer to set it on our truck hitch. Luckily we had a jack and we're able to raise the trailer using it but others may not have the equipment available. I suggest having equipment to help lift the trailer.

Issues started at checkin. "Online remote checkin" took 20 minutes waiting in line. Not to mention location tried to charge me for 9 gallons of gasoline for no more than an 11 mile rental. How is that possible?! Rental also had a roach and several hand towels located inside, and had to provide photo proof of gas tank and mileage. Surely they could check those items? Would not recommend! Contacting visa for a partial refund.

This location only had one guy working and he was responsible for all the gas station pumps and the convenience store while also doing the U-Haul rentals. I had to find and then hook up the trailer myself and then he instructed me to bring it back to the front of the store so that he could take a picture of how I did because that was his requirement. I did all of this over my lunch break so I pre-loaded my payment and license information to make it quicker. However, I still had to wait about 20 minutes while everybody walked in to buy their soda and candy bar and I stood there for the waiting for him to deal with the whole line first.

I was charged for a half tank of fuel when I received it with less than 3quarters of a tahk the truck shook real bad under 40 mph the steering was loose and the brakes were not good also the ramp was in horrible Condition worse U-Haul I have ever rented will go with another truck rental company in the future if some kind of reimbursement is offered

I had reserved a 10 foot truck to be picked up at the massive Uhaul center less than a mile from my house but was told I had to drive 28 miles to this location to get the truck. That sucked. The people at the pickup location were nice and it was fine but driving 28 miles to get it sucked.
