Great all around service and easy to deal with
PAUL SOwner was helpful with our situation. Picked up a truck and later discovered that it was dirty and had a leak - after an ordeal of dealing with a U-Haul hub, the owner of this location was able to swap out the truck for us
Spenser DThe check in process online was soooooooooooooooooooooooo extensive. It was long and hard to do. Taking 7 pictures, after the car was parked in a tight space and opening each door and moving around the vehicle. I don't know just took an additional 20 minutes easily after a long day of moving. I don't know that I will ever return a truck this way again. That said other than a ton of sand in the front of the vehicle, the truck ran really well and was perfect for our move.

Kameron PThe steering column locks every time the ignition is turned off. Although a "known defect" of the "GMC fleet", surely the customer should not be burdened with trying to figure out how to play with the key to start the vehicle each time! Very poor judgement on the part of GMC and U-Haul.
BEVERLY FDetzels Garage is THE only place I rent my UHauls from. Dave Detzel is awesome, always looking to make our experience fast and easy. He continues to help us find solutions when we need a piece of equipment. As a business owner myself I sometimes find the need for equipment at the last minute and Dave @ Detzels Garage accommodates. JAMES WService is always friendly and professional here. Received a call the day of my 24/7 rental. They left a message letting me know that the truck was all set and the key was in the box. They know we do business with them so they know we know how to complete the 24/7 rental. Truck was nice and clean. Zero complaints. Wish I had more jobs in the Osprey area so I can do business with them more often.

Stephen RThe trailer should have been cleaned out, the last person must have used it to haul rocks and there were a lot of rocks on the floor of the trailer.
RAY QI think y'all need to extend your hours where there is a person on site. Trying to pick up my vehicle through the app was a pain in the butt and it kept timing out, taking me about 45 minutes untill finally being able to get the keys to my truck. Human service would be much easier.

RANDALL GALL of my negative ratings come down to one fault...Size! Personnel is excellent. Cleanliness was okay. Lot size is just too small. I had to detach the trailer and walk it to a spot to leave it. I barely had room to turn my vehicle around to leave. I actually missed the lot and drove by the on arrival. This was shortly after Hurricane Milton went through. They probably lost their sign like most businesses in the area. I will definitely use them again because of the location, but now I know what to expect.

TARIQ KThe truck itself was fairly old and the shifter was a little rough. Other than that it was clean and did the job. The dealer himself was excellent. I've rented here before, and he always tries to make pick-up and drop off as quick and painless as possible. He takes good care of his customers. In this case, my requested 10' truck was not available, so he gave me a 15' for the same price. Definitely recommend Detzel's!
JAMES TMy biggest complaint is that I booked this truck and I had one of my employees pick it up remotely and it's so confusing that I had to wait until Dave Detzel the location owner arrived at his office. Dave is GREAT! But Uhaul, you've now screwed up 2 remote pickups for me. How can we get this straight? I never know exactly who will be picking up a rental truck for me so I'm sure that adds a wrinkle so how can we iron that out so we can give you more business?

William PThe truck was beat, dirty and the driver side door did not close all the way..no matter how hard it was slammed. Wipers were in terrible shape. There was no place to park at the garage. Garage owner was extremely nice and pulled a truck out of the lot to let me park.
