Dave MI had made my reservation at a location closer to my house. A CSR called to inform me that I would need to pick up from another location, and my rate would be reduced to compensate. The new location had no indication my rate was to be reduced and I was charged full price. The location and equipment were excellent, but the customer service from UHaul was subpar.

Charla Mi arrived to pick up the rental and it was behind a locked gait and no one at the office to help. unable to get ahold of anyone. after being on hold and talking to 4 different people, i was assured that i would be refunded my money. as of now that has not happened. please help.

GREG NI did not know if the rental got 10 mpg or 20 so I put enough gas in it to make sure I did not run out on I-69. It had 1/4th of a tank when I rented it and 3/4ths when I returned it but apparently I get no credit for this! That just doesn't seem fair!
David DThe U-haul on-line site would not let me rent a trunk for 24 hour though (16 hours I was given) I was required to pay for 24 hours.

Theresa SI typically refrain from leaving negative reviews; however, my recent experience warrants sharing my concerns. I found the practices at this establishment to be lacking in integrity and transparency. Upon picking up my U-Haul, the gas gauge indicated a fuller tank than it actually was, which I suspect was intentional, as I was asked to sign a tablet before taking the vehicle. This situation seemed designed to ensure that I would return the truck with more fuel than I received it with, coupled with discrepancies in the mileage recorded. To clarify, I apparently drove well over 60 miles, transporting a refrigerator from Danville, IN, to Plainfield. My concerns do not stem solely from being overcharged or having to refuel the vehicle; rather, it is the perceived dishonesty in the transaction that is most troubling. I believe that businesses should adhere to ethical practices, and I hope that my feedback encourages a reevaluation of their procedures.
