DAVID RWhen we returned the truck in El Paso, Texas, we reported the gas incident. We were told they would check the truck and report any issues. I asked them to keep me informed, and they took my phone number. When I didn't receive any callbacks two days later, I called the Uhaul number and reported the incident. They told me they didn't have any reports of it. I called the El Paso location again and asked about them checking the truck. The owner's wife answered. The main person (husband) wasn't there, so they took my number again and said they would call me back. One day later, I called again, and the person (a different man) there told me he thought they had checked the truck and it was fine. I told him about the issue we had and said sometimes gas nozzles don't stop. I explained that was not the issue. Gas leaked from the bottom of the truck, not the intake. I asked him to ask his boss to call me back. He never did. This was last week. I still haven't received a call back.
JESUS VMake sure all equipment is ready and works. Don't make others waste their mileage to different locations just for an equipment that should already be ready.

ISIS CI reserved equipment with plenty of time. The equipment I reserved was offered at a location over 40 miles away from my original location. I chose to take different type equipemnt, smaller, which made the packing very challenging and I had to pay extra insurance due to having a truck plus a trailer. In addition, only two days were allowed to complete the move...not fun having to pick up a truck at 4pm on a Friday, having to pack, travel 5 hours, unpack, and having to return the truck by 4pm on Sunday. In addition, I expressed that the miles were not sufficient, the UHAUL attendant said there was nothing that she could do. She suggested I talk to the folks when returning the truck and ask if a discount could be provided given all the mess with the reservation. I drove the truck from the UHAUL place to my hotel, the hotel to the storage area and back to hotel, and next day to my destination, about 30 miles in total of "local driving"...I was over by 9 miles...not a big deal, but I was charged for teh extra miles...again, the UHAUL person indicated that there was nothing he could do! Not a very good UHAUL experience this time around!!!!

john sMe quisieron estafar diciendo que yo dañe la troca que rente por solo un dia, 430 dolares por una raya que ya tenia, lo bueno que yo antes de conducir la troca grabe toda la troca por dentro y por fuera, afuera de su estacionamiento y me libre de esa estafa que intentaron hacer con migo. Lo que mas me dio coraje fue yo marque al local donde lo rente y no me supieron decir donde fue que supestamente yo dañe el vehículo y marque a un numero que me dieron y tampoco me supieron decir hasta que marque a atención al cliente y entonces ahy si me dijieron que fue y donde pero yo tenia ese video gravado y fue lo que me salvo porque en ese video sale esa supesta raya que le hice y la hora que yo grabe el video antes usar el vehiculo . Tengan cuidado con la estafa que es U-Haul. Querian cobrame algo que no hice y una limpieza pero no lo ensucie y tmb millas extras cual yo nomas hice 34 y supestamente podia usar 50 so no entiendo. Solamente querian sacar dinero ah fue de lugar.
