DAVID RWhen we returned the truck in El Paso, Texas, we reported the gas incident. We were told they would check the truck and report any issues. I asked them to keep me informed, and they took my phone number. When I didn’t receive any callbacks two days later, I called the Uhaul number and reported the incident. They told me they didn’t have any reports of it. I called the El Paso location again and asked about them checking the truck. The owner’s wife answered. The main person (husband) wasn’t there, so they took my number again and said they would call me back. One day later, I called again, and the person (a different man) there told me he thought they had checked the truck and it was fine. I told him about the issue we had and said sometimes gas nozzles don’t stop. I explained that was not the issue. Gas leaked from the bottom of the truck, not the intake. I asked him to ask his boss to call me back. He never did. This was last week. I still haven’t received a call back.
