Be more prepared. I booked at the Raymond location because it was 2 blocks away from me. Less mileage driven to save me money. I went inside after work to make sure everything was good. The guy said I'm good for mobile pick up. I go home change and come back. He forgot to leave the keys for me. I called 24/7 support. They had to direct me to a new location. I had to drive to another location out of the way, I don't think I should have been charged the full amount.

The dolly I ordered was not in the van bexuE the business was not open, I could not get one. I called customer service and it was a long process to find a dolly and we would have had to go out of our way to pick on up. Not good, people!!!

Unsure of where to drop keys. The drop box was inside the enclosed fence area. Would be nice if the after hours drop box was on the outside of the fence. Besides that everything else was fine. Merci

The keys were not immediately available. The staff at the location did not know how to assist as they were not trained in nail pick ups and it took U-Haul 45 minutes to figure out where the keys were

I had a fantastic experience with KASL Printing and Graphics during my U-Haul truck pickup. From the initial phone call, the communication was clear and thorough, with detailed instructions provided. The pickup time was 0800, per U-Haul contract agreement. The U-Haul location didn't open until 0900, but U-Haul didn't inform me of that time. I had scheduled moving help for 0900, and because of the location's late opening, our whole move was delayed. It wasn't the new location's fault. The operator was courteous, but didn't have the boxes I ordered (which weren't on the U-Haul contract on his computer.)

The app requires a photo of your drivers license, and either your Passport or two phone numbers, or other verification method. It would be better if you could complete the verification when you make the reservation rather than on site at the lot.

The 24/7 pickup was a total desaster! We lost 2 hours because the trucla weren't ready twice at 2 different locations and we ended up having to go with a smaller truck. Waites for ever to talk to someone on the phone and chat people werent very helpful/responsive and super slow.

I had 3 different agents from U-Haul give me quotes for renting a truck on the phone and when I came to pick up the truck with the quote I was told it was impossible to get it as I was quoted. The manager went to bat for me and got management to give us a deal that was acceptable after arguing for over an hour. When we returned the truck management tried to over charge me $800 more but I had the printed contract in hand so they couldn't. Our local manager was awesome to us the whole time.

My reservation was scheduled and confirmed for 9AM. I took rideshare over to the location because the lot wasn't large enough to leave my car there and the person opening the location arrived at 9:15AM. By the time I was able to take possession of the rental a half hour of my time had been wasted. The rental was dirty, inside and out and the customer service from the store associate who showed up late was in my opinion, atrocious. I use U-Haul frequently and usually have a good experience but the sub-par customer service and disrespect of people's time will have me renting from a different location in the future. U-Haul manager Jesus, came through in the end and sent a credit for the waste of my time which is highly appreciated. Thank you for making this unpleasant experience, right in the end.

The man at the location was polite and tried to help. I am irrational with Uhaul and your self service app. 1. The app di not work for me and another customer picking up our vehicles at the same time. 2. We had to contact customer service. My representative was very helpful. It still took 1 hr from arriving to driving away with the vehicle. UNACCEPTABLE! 3. When returning the vehicle the app stated that Uhaul server was down. I left the vehicle but unable to access my account to complete the process. I retained the keys, luckily! 4. For 3,5 hrs I was either on hold (which I was hung up on), talking to representatives that were unable to provide guidance, or waiting for a cal back. 5. Was Finally able to get into my app the next morning while at the storage location and completed the return. Had I followed the representatives advice and simply put the keys in the box, I would NOT have been able to verify the mileage, etc. This was the second time thst I've rented from Uhaul through your app and both times have been a disaster. If you require customers to use your technology, then make certain that it works and your representatives know how it navigate it. I will never use or recommend Uhaul again!

This is not on the location itself, but on the company as a whole. You guys really screwed me over. You called me the day before my move to tell me the truck I needed and RESERVED wasn't available anymore so I either had to go pick it up to a location an hour away from me or I had to suck it up and get a smaller truck. Which I obviously ended up doing because I was running out of options since it was THE DAY BEFORE. That forced me to get the small truck and therefore do 2 trips, spending more money in gas and more miles so you guys could get a MORE money, and on top of that, the location I picked it up from didn't have the 2 TV boxes I had RESERVED, din't have the dollies or the boxes I had also RESERVED. And I'm sure you guys are VERY well aware of this practice. I will never use Uhaul again.

They asked if it was ok if I would pick up through the up instead of in person due to an emergency. I agreed as I wanted to help, but I was never explained about the app process or the fact that I would need additional identifications, something that ended up causing me to wait an hour and a half in a 100 degreed sun with no shade, being late to where I need to go, and because of that losing hundreds of dollars. Of course, after getting to where I was heading, I found out that the equipment that I'd ordered wasn't in the truck, which caused me more time, more money on fuel and miles, and a lot more frustration.

This location was a bit inconvenient for me. I was required to use it because the truck size I needed wasn't available at my preferred location. Also, I prefer dealing with an actual person rather than the "online" checkout there. I felt fortunate to have picked the truck up on a Sunday morning when traffic is minimal. I would hate trying to get out of that small lot when traffic is heavier.

Everything was good and went well minus the start and end of this truck rental. I undertand the idea behind using an app or website to streamline rentals but neither of these options works good. Took me 30 minutes into my own scheduled window pickup just to confirm with your company. The app glitched/absolutely did not work. Would make me re-enter same info 3-4 times. And the website didn't help with making things any easier. It as well kicked me out of my current screen/progress simply to leave me wondering what's going on. I never had the chance to officially load up the pics at the end due to your app/website issues. I'd very strongly suggest getting that fixed as I was not the only customer that day who had connection issues. I think better can be done than that..

Returned the vehicle at 4:55pm but they were already closed. Tried to use the U-Haul app to do a self return. Would take pictures of the equipment as the app instructed, but the pictures would keep disappearing. I took multiple pictures and they would appear in the app, but when I took the last picture, all the pictures I took previously would be gone. I kept trying and then the app crashed. When I started the app again, the dashboard did not have any current rentals and therefore I was unable to finish returning the equipment using the app. My internet connection was fine. App needs fixing.

RUDE service. Dirty uhauls. Store reeks of cigarettes. AVOID this location and drive 10 minutes to the Uhaul in Altadena off Lincoln for professional customer service and clean vehicles.

The truck had a couple of huge flaps of rubber hanging on the sidewall of one of the tires. The local guy checked with central and U-Haul could find no other 15' truck near me, so I had to take this one. They said to call U-Haul roadside assistance and they would change the tire. I called and they said they would set someone up. U-Haul texted me with the name of the private contractor tire company, Valley Commercial Tire, that promised arrival in 2 hours. After a while I called the private tire company in Sun Valley to see why they weren't here and they said it was too far for them and had cancelled with U-Haul. I called U-Haul again and they said they would send someone else out, South El Monte Michelin with an ETA of 90 minutes. I waited 90 minutes and they didn't show up and I was running out of time. So I drove 300 miles on the tire with huge sidewall damage. Thankfully the tire held up and I got to the rehearsal for my daughter's wedding with 7 minutes to spare. In addition to the tire problem, their padlock didn't work, the passenger side air conditioning vanes in the dash were missing making it quite uncomfortable for the passenger, and one of the wheels of their dolly barely turned. Also, after laboriously typing all this in, when I hit the submit button, it said this: There was an error processing your request Something went wrong on our end. Very rude personnel. Truck was dirty. We returned the truck first thing in the morning. The guy who received the keys was mad because I dropped off the truck at 9:00. He wanted the truck earlier than that and their schedule it's from 10:00 to 5:30.

Hagoup was great when we went to pick up the van on thursday. Very thorough with all the information we could possibly need. I was sorry he wasn't open for the return during the hours he said he would be, but I managed the self return easily. final submission was 3 minutes past the return time so I hope I'm not charged anything extra!

The car battery was essentially dead when I rented it out. After arriving at my first stop, the car battery died because I left the hazard lights on for 45 minutes. I had to wait over 2 hours for someone to come replace the battery before I could continue on my way, delaying my move by 2 hours on what is already a busy and stressful day.

It wasn't so the much the location, though the agent's hours were not good for what we needed help with. The online experience was horrible, needed to talk to a customer service rep to get help in renting our vehicle, and it took us 45 minutes vs. the 10 minutes it would have taken with the old system of working with a real person behind the desk.

I like this location and the people but the truck was hard to drive. Hard to start - at one point did not start. Emergency brake hard to release. Super rattly and bumpy. Glad I was only local. Give them a new truck!

The location is good but only if you are picking up your rental from an actual person. Checking in and out through the app was a nightmare. It did not allow me to check out the rental and I had to call customer service. CS did help but overall process took 30 minutes. Same with checking in the rental. App would not work properly and I had to call CS again and wait 20 minutes for an agent to pick up. Would rather prefer a physical person to help and it would have been so much faster.

I had a really hard time picking up the van. My reservation didn't give me the option to start the steps of picking up. I selected doing with my phone because the location was close on Sunday but I had to call customers service and wait almost 30 minutes until finally I could do it. So better organization with outside business rentals

The location was closed for Armenian Christmas when we arrived for scheduled drop off. It wasn't clear where to park the truck or leave the key. However, while we were looking into this the manager came out solved the problem. He was very friendly and helpful.

The staff at KASL were fine and helpful, but the overall experience with U-Haul was extremely frustrating. I had to utilize the website for picking up the truck and it was terrible. It did not have my reservation listed, it was slow to load, kept crashing, and I eventually had to call U-Haul to have someone walk me through the online check-in. Then I tried to use the website to add an extra day to my rental and it was impossible to do so I again had to call someone. So overall the people were fine but the website was terrible.
