The individual working had to walked through the process with someone that was over the phone, that wasnt really an issue but I had to literally talk on his phone to the guy walking through because the person working had no communication skills. Both friendly though. Just aggravating.

Truck needs maintenance it needs an alignment as it handles very poorly. Constantly shifting the steering wheel right and left to stay in the center of the lane very hard to control extremely dangerous.
Christopher OI dropped my truck off at this location after a cross country move. The person that took care of us was extremely nice and very helpful. He made the whole process easy. I was very pleased (and relieved) when my move was complete. I highly recommend this location/staff.
KATHY LAlthough the truck ran great, it doesn't look like it had ever been cleaned or washed. The location that booked the reservation (Elm Drive) sent me to KDR Convenience but sent the reservation to Nine Mile Road. The staff at KDR were friendly and helpful.

BERNARD RNo, the stored lady didn't get there till 830. When I was supposed to pick the truck up at 7 1 of the tires on the U holit was bald. It could have blew out at anytime.

VICTORIALEE SI have rented either a van or the 10ft truck a few times from KDR and they are always so nice and helpful. This is always my go to place to see if a truck is available before checking other places for a rental.

Abhishek PWe had done the selection of not picking a location. So when we got done with everything, we were told that we could come to the Mechanicsville, U-Haul and storage and once we showed up the young gentleman was too busy being on his phone talking to his girlfriend, or a friend, which was personal and he said he had no room for us. I had a 6 x 12 trailer to drop off and he said he had no room so when I asked him to please pick a place or contact someone that could help us. He just ignored me and kept talking on the phone. I found KDR on my own and the gentleman there was so kind that he helped us out. I will go to KDR at any time if I need anything regarding U-Haul rentals.
Jennifer MWhen I picked up my Uhaul it had trash in the door pockets. Floor and dash were covered in ashes and the truck smelled like smoke. I tried to take pictures in the app and it let me take only one then I was going thru pretrip pictures and one of the pictures wasn't even the right truck had a different bumper. Other than that self check in and out was pretty easy. I also left truck way fuller than I got it.

LESLIE PMy only comment would be the strap ends were tattered. If they were needed to be remove from the ratchet, it would be very difficult to reinstall in tightening.
Curtis FI would have been in big trouble if there wasn't someone inside to help me. I tried app pickup first and ended up needing support to verify me. They left me hanging for precious minutes before I gave up and went inside. I had a very tight timeline and needed them to be much more prompt. The person who helped me inside of KDR Convenience was excellent.

Blake WMy bad experience is all related to the 24/7 check in process. I rented a U-Haul at 4:30 AM. I did the pre-check in and uploaded my license. When I showed up at 4:30 AM, I uploaded it again. So issue occurred where it requested more info. They needed to verify my identity with three people. At 4:30 AM on a Saturday morning, there is no one that I feel comfortable waking up to verify me. They told me to get my passport. I drove 30 minutes home to get it and 30 minutes back. After uploading my passport and everything else again, they then said they had to call people again. Super frustrating process that took 3 hours to try and figure out. Finally the location opened up and I got the U-Haul. This process is horrible. I will not be a returning customer to U-Haul. Super disappointed in the system but also the attendants lack of clear communication and empathy. Definitely and experience I will share with friends.

Scott JI was able to check-in online which expedited (somewhat) the pick up process. However, it is combined with a gas station/convenience store and on a busy road. If you show up at a crowded time the process might not be as smooth... just my opinion, nothing observed to validate that. The owners/operators are very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist in any way.
