This is the second time I have ordered a truck from this location and both times they have modified my rental. Last time they sent me almost 20 minutes away to get a truck. This time they changed the size and time. When I got there no one was there. I will probably not use this location again

A smaller vehicle as in a reg van would be helpful to rent. I rented the smallest truck, and it was overkill for the load. I worked in the moving field (household and mainly commercial) for 35 plus years so the larger truck didn't matter but maybe for some it would be a bit scary.
MICHAEL Crented a trailer and told the receptionist I only needed it until Wednesday. With snow in the forecast, I mentioned I might need to extend to Thursday. She said, "OK." When I saw the cost, I asked why I was being charged through Thursday when I only needed it until Wednesday. She explained that I was reserving it through Thursday, but if I returned it on Wednesday, I would only be charged for the days I used, and the unused day would be refunded. I signed the agreement and told her to expect it back on Wednesday. We returned the trailer on Wednesday as planned, but they refused to refund the unused day. When I called, the woman on the phone told me, "You should have only reserved it until Wednesday and added Thursday if you needed it." I explained that's exactly what I had requested, but the receptionist insisted the reservation had to be made through Thursday, assuring me I'd be refunded for the unused day. Turns out, she lied. WOULD NEVER RETURN.
THEA BWe arrived after hours, so no personnel were there. The U-Haul website would not let me leave the personnel block unchecked, so I marked it "no" because it did not apply.
NICHOLAOS VVehicle was very dirty on the inside and there was something wrong with the truck. Struggled getting is started. Took 10 minutes for me to finally get it started.
RAYMOND HLocation was fine. Still disliked the overall experience of renting a uhaul. Terrible.

CHRISTOPHER KWhen I left Rhode Island, I was unsure of where I was going. The U-Haul representative gave me a specific drop off point, but I went to the above location because of convenience. The woman was extremely helpful and was able to change the location to her location. She made everything very easy, especially considering that my trip was frustrating. U-Haul is a very accommodating company to deal with. The staff and products are excellent and that's an understatement. I'm very pleased with the services that U-Haul and their staff provided me with. Thank you very much, U-Haul!!
mark dThis has nothing to do with the location but I had an issue with the app. I could do all the preliminary info but had to spend time on the phone with an agent in order to "pick up the truck". I was to pick up the truck at 8 but was close to 930 before the issue with the app was fixed. This was very stressful and caused us to run late.
Dennee GThis was not a great experience. I never received notification this was a self pick up. I signed up to go inside to finish the paperwork. I got this location at the time requested and the business was closed. I called the number on my contract and got a voicemail. No one return my call. So I called the UHaul number and spoke with a Mitzi. She was extremely helpful and walked me through the process of self pick up. Just a bad experience with miscommunication. Thanks again to Mitzi for all her help.
JERRY NThey lied about how much fuel was in the tank when i returned the truck. I picked it up with half a tank, drove 38 miles in total. They were not there when I returned it, so I of the keys in the box. I later got the receipt showing the tank at 1/4 full, which is not true or possible considering how little I drove. I was also charged for 16 gallons, which doesn't make sense for 38 miles. That's less than 3 miles a gallon compared to what I drove. I put 2 gallons in the truck when I returned it and the tank was just near the 1/2 mark. At worst, it could hand been 3/8, but no way possible for it to be 1/4 and it definitely didn't require 1/4 tank. I was charged 90 for gas, plus 30 gas fee. There isn't anything I could do to dispute it, since it would be my word against there's and the truck was already re-rented to another customer. I didn't bother taking a picture because I wouldn't expect them to lie about the fuel level. 38 miles driven should be common sense math that I didn't use a quarter of a tank.

It was 7:00 am and it was difficult to contact people. Also it wouldn't allow reuse of numbers once one was used for retrying to call.

Daniel RU-Haul said the site did not set me up properly in their system to do a before hours pickup. Site rep said they did nothing wrong. He said, she said, cost me almost an hour to get my truck and it had to be done over the phone with U-Haul. No veteran discount! I had downloaded the app, and turned on my location as instructed. No discount offered or given due to the pickup debacle. Where is the customer service that used to be a priority!!!! Inside of truck was clean but the passenger mirror was literally covered with bird poop not visible.

Wayne POriginally made a reservation with the Lee Court Clayton, NC 27520 location since it was closest to me. I arrived for scheduled pick up only to be told they didn't have the truck and I would have to go somewhere else. Very unprofessional - they could have called me and saved me a trip to their location.

Mike CMy uhaul did not have dashboard lights so I could not see what speed limit I was going at night. Therefore I could not drive the uhaul back to the location that night. I was still charged for the extra day that I had to keep the uhaul.

Oliver RI was told the gas was full, and I would have to return it full. However, it took eight gallons to fill the tank when I only drove 19 total miles. So, it was not full, and I paid for gas that rental location should have already had in the truck.
MICHAEL RAll your locations are very confused and each person has a different story depending on who you talk to. Was charged $64 more as stating I had an extra day when I picked up and returned truck the same day. Was informed I could drop off at nearest location. Then harassed two days after I dropped off truck stating I never dropped it off. All absolutely ridiculous and not customer care. Would definitely not recommend your company and plan to tell everyone the horrible experience.

carlos pSmall scale Uhaul center but had what I needed and the young lady in the office was great help! Easy booking, easy return. I rented an open trailer. $25 for a day. I would rather pay that than to have one sitting in my yard with just occasional use. Merci encore!

BLAINE HTrailer had a flat tire and attendant said they had no air tank but I could go to the gas station and fill it. Not knowing if the tire was bad I told her I was not comfortable with that so she did have another trailer. I had to hook up and unhook both trailers myself which does not seem like good policy.

BRYAN WThe pickup location was fine. However, the same can't be said about Uhaul specifically. The mobile share app/website did not work properly. I had to travel 25 minutes away from my original pickup location and I had to wait almost an hour and a half to get assistance with just gaining access to the truck due to system issues. I was not compensated for extra mileage that was promised to me. I will not use Uhaul in the future unless the website is updated to be more user friendly.
