The only issue was a glitch in the new booking software. It wouldn't allow me to take the required pictures that are needed to complete the transaction.

Rental unit was old but still got the job done, interior showing some wear such as steering wheel cover going and older vehicle smell. But not a deal breaker. Maintenace seemed fine. Location could probably have cleaned the unit just a bit better but again not a huge gripe and I reserved after hours. Just that I have rented units that were newer/updated in the past, such as low deck and gentle-ride but got the job done. Truck still had plenty of power and gas mileage as expected. Rental location was great for my need. One thing is that I used Mobil check-in and when reserving the night before you do not mention that you must pick-up your vehicle within 1-hour of your scheduled time. I was late picking up and it delayed my approval a bit, but I was more worried that my reservation was cancelled (it did not). Maybe I did not see the note with reservation confirmation the Nite before about the 1-hour time limit to pick-up, but everything worked out. I do like the Mobil check-in option, worked well once I found the button at the top to check-in. Another thing is with tolls (Illinois) and not sure yet if we will get charged an administration fee using Uhaul plate-pass as it was not in the contract or noted during reservation. We were told via Chat we will get an email to pay the toll bill, so we will see if includes any admin fees, just would have liked to know if there would be one and in Illinois there is cash (double the cost) vs Ipass/Plate rates. I did not want to be charged a toll-cash rate but will see. Since I Mobil checked-in I could not ask front desk of my location and if they knew. It all worked out, so far and reasonable cost overall, pending toll charge I receive.

OLEKSII SI did not realize I was using a location that was not a UHaul dealer, but rather a 3rd party. The owner of the store was unhelpful and kept asking me to call UHaul to get my questions answered. I'm thankful I had a smart phone however I don't feel comfortable using it as a check in device, and the owner told me that if was a requirement from U-haul. Even though there was a sign that says the U Haul representative could use their UHaul scanner to do this. The store was a MESS and it did not feel safe. it was also hard to find the store, and I didn't know where to pack my car while using the truck. Overall not a great experience. Please do not rent from this location.

ROBERT ROffice is cluttered and messy. Agents are less than helpful and sometimes downright rude. I will be filing an official and more complete complaint in the coming days.

PABLO QInterior lighting was very low on dashboard, hard to see at night. Was charged $10 for cleaning interior, but could not find photographic evidence. App was difficult to maneuver, did not seem to have a "finish" to close out after dropping off truck after hours. Finally, odometer needle seemed to be off, paid for 10 gallons of gas for $32, only drove 39 miles. If these gripes were fixed, I would consider it a good experience, worth the money. Little things add up.
WILLIAM CIt turned out to be so much more expensive than anticipated. A $20 service fee for returning after hours because the office closed at 3:00 is ridiculous. My fault for not reading more carefully, will not return to this early closing location ever again.
LINDA CIt's kind of hard to find at first - I was looking for a sign saying 'UHaul' out front. I finally went around the mall building and went in the door by where a number of UHaul trucks were parked.

DANIEL LWe loaded our van the night before. There was rain and there was water in the back the next morning when we were unloading. Please maintain your fleet better as property is potentially damaged.
MARK GAC did not work and the truck was not clean. The gas gage was also below 3/4 but when I checked the truck back in it said it was supposed to be above 3/4 so it is clear the employees are not checking the trucks in between rentals.

TAEISHA TI smells scam in this place. Right at the beginning I feel something was wrong. I checked the gas level once I hop on to the truck, it was about 1/8. Then I stepped on the break and hear noise from the truck. Suddenly someone ran into me. Telling me the gas was 1/4 of a tank which surely is not since there it didn't even close to hit the 1/4 bar. He ignored my concern about break noise. It seems that he only care about the gas level but not the safety. At the time I returned my truck. I was late I expected to pay for another day rental. I was charged around 211. Got a receipt the other morning around 7am. I thought it was settled. At around 9:30am I received another receipt, I was charged for 380. The reason was the truck wasn't clean and the dolly was missing. Bull crab. I cleaned and sweep the floor intentionally to bring it back like new. They said they found one piece of glass on the bed. One piece? $25. Screw it. Why 380? They said one of the two dolly was missing. Well, I only rent 1 dolly and it was right there on the truck. I called the CS hotline, the operator contacted the owner of the location and they agreed to refund me missing dolly charge, since I took a picture at the time of dropping off the key. As a conclusion they place is operating with a poor business practice very scam alike. They will fake the gas level and try to charge you for something that you didn't use or didn't do. They will fake you with a first invoice and if you didn't pay attention, you will get hit with a second one. And if I didn't purchase the car insurance with them, they will probably charge me for the malfunction break with make abnormal noise. Be caution stay away with the people.
