When equipment is return, check it in right then and not 24 hrs later then charge the customer money for unreturn equipment that was in fact returned and returned 3 hours before it was even due to be turned back in.

Truck was not ready at the first location and that location was closed. Transferred 4 times and hung up on when I called customer service. 2 nd location had trouble assigning a truck. I will try to use anyone besides U-Haul for my next move.

Your GM tried to move a 2-ton truck forward by pushing his back into my tailgate - the second i noticed his actions i stopped him from a permeant dent. The answer was to ask me to pull ahead one inch, which i did, we could have had a big issue to deal with, for a GM not a smart move.

We moved our stuff in because another place was getting too expensive. Then the rates here were raised every year until it was priced out of all comparison to even other UHaul places. The climate controlled section was almost never in the optimal range shown on the big thermometer and for the price paid, it should have been much better controlled. But our stuff survived and was secure.

The manger was a little creepy . After I paid my storage they continue to double lock my storage an I couldn't use my 24 access because it was double locked . My stuff was in storage for a whole year. I get it out an my totes are covered in rat poop on in side storage unit !

Lower the deposit. My total cost was $23. My deposit was a was more than $100. I feel the deposit should be twice what the rental price is. Reason. When I returned what I rented (earlier than requested time). My deposit refund was $107. I got a receipt for that. But my bank statement said I was charged the full amount of $133. When I came in there. I was given another receipt claiming I was credited for $107 and that I needed to talk to my bank. So I did. Now I have to wait ten days for the bank to investigate because the say it doesn't show that I'm due any refund.. MAD!!!

The Rental went very good. The price was affordable. The only thing we were not happy about is having to pickup the truck in Decatur instead of Hartselle where we live. That caused extra time during moving day. We were originally told that the truck would be available in Hartselle. Otherwise, we appreciate how considerate and friendly the service was at the Decatur location.

The truck was on 3/8 full of gas and I brought it back with more than that but they charged me with 2 gallons of gas. That was a little lame and didn't find it out till I got my final receipt. They were not busy but still didn't check it in until sometime after I left.

When placing the reservation for the truck. I also requested to have a storage unit reserved. After driving 10 hours, I got to the facility and the girl told me they don't do reservations. I ended up having to get a larger more expensive unit. The girl was really nice but had no clue how to rent the unit.

The two employees were having a conversation and continued on for 2 minutes while I stood there waiting. The license plate on the trailer was so damaged you couldn't read the numbers. The trailer didn't have a jack so I had to buy a jack in order to take the trailer off.

This is a busy store on a heavily used main artery in Decatur but it was easy to find. I pulled the truck and trailer into the only spot it could fit but lucky me I was in the right place. I had a bit of a wait but once it was my turn I only needed to park the trailer for the guys and did so in once try like a professional driver does daily. One man walking by even shook my hand for doing it so easily.

Customer service was excellent, General Manager, Brad was awesome. The only thing I didn't care for was my unit was near the parking lot that they were doing paving and all the debris kept getting into my unit.

There was alot of confusion with this move due to the electrical being off at the facility. There were no lights on when loading our inside storage unit and it was very difficult for to drive around with the big uhaul due to all the Decatur utilities vehicles blocking access. Also a lot of confusion with the rental. Should have been better explained.

This location had the best customer service we've ever experienced at any other location. Bo, Kyle and Adam were exceptional. I have just retired from a DM position of 20 years and wish that I had employees that gave the customer care that we received. your company is fortunate to have these guys on board.

This manager, or so he said, called me and tried to tell me I owe $150+ even though I moved out of the unit 1 day after due date! I paid in advance, for months, so why would I pay for a month I did not use? And when I asked for his supervisor's name & number he hung up on me!

Excellent service. Only 4 stars because the storage has stairs and it makes it harder to move things in versus if they had a lift or elevator. Clean facility. Friendly staff.

There only one issue, and it is that they don't have elevator for the units on the second and third floor. Other than that, the units was very contable.

It was a great experience overall. We appreciate the friendly staff and the facility was nice and clean. The only suggestion is to install an elevator. It was a bit of work walking up and down the stairs to fill the unit.

Not maintained. Air conditioning leaked into my unit. I was not notified and found many irreplaceable items molded and ruined. Staff does not answer the phone and does not know how to use computer system to do anything. They are lackadaisical and flippant. I would never recommend this facility to anyone else.

I have an issue with the new management on 6th avenue in Decatur she was very rude the manager that you had before was very nice and understanding I had some life-changing effects happened to me and she was able to help me out while I was getting on my new path in life she had to go on with her life and move on I talked to two other staff of yours and with that I end up with the new one that's a manager or the store manager of 6th avenue she's very rude do not have patience and it's really awful I have complained about her on the 1-800 number and I haven't heard anything back

Of all the U-Haul stores I have contracted with over the last 6 months and in 3 states this store has had the BEST selection of vehicles, trailers and supplies. (packing, auto accessories) The storage unit was fine for a climate control while the others were regular units while I was transitioning and moving family. U-Haul doesn't refund early vehicle returns, that's too bad. U-Haul was available when I needed them!

Destiny was very professional. She received a 6x12 Trailer I brought down from Delaware and processed my reservation for a storage unit. We did a walk through and everything was "just right" Oh, and thet have a great supply if materials and auto hitch accessories...a great prices!

I had a confirmation from uhaul themselves and there was not one available in the size I ordered. I had to take the next size up and am being charged $30 more a month and feel this was a bait and switch from the company. Called a file was created.

First of all, the personnel are wonderful people. I cannot say enough about my experience with them, especially Jerry! The inside of the storage area was clean. However outside the door where one has to move everything the drainage for run-off water left a lot of waste right in the area where you're pulling your stuff in. Otherwise, the experience was spectacular. Thanks Jerry for all your help to those who are in the delirium of moving!

Several times I went by to pay and no one was in the store. I waited and waited and finally left and just paid online. I think they are short handed. Also, you can never get anyone to answer the phone.

When we moved out the extra key to the lock was not returned. I feel if I had to buy the lock so they could keep a key it should at least be returned when I move out. I know they knew they had a key to the lock. After all they have key's to all the lock's. Sorry if my feed back upsets anyone.

Generally speaking the staff was EXCELLENT, however, I did have one bad experience with a female worker concerning an error in billing. She could not give me an answer to the issue and said "she couldn't help me" in a less than desirable tone and demeanor. She also said that she would have the manager call me for further clarification and help that she could not provide but I was never contacted. Taylor was always helpful through email and the in-person staff was always accommodating, helpful and friendly. One bad experience was all that I had.

The website said that the first month was free. When I got to the site and completed my check in, I was told that I wouldn't receive the free month rent because I didn't rent the truck from that site. I feel that I should have been informed about that.

I was over charged and had to pay an extra day because the customer service that help me didn't a activate my card for my 24 hour access. I called the after hours number to report in on why I had to keep the trailer and extra day because I couldn't get in my unit. They told me I wouldn't be charged because they was at fault but then the next day I was charged $80 extra bucks on my card I had to go into the office not once but twice to have them move empty trailers out of the way where they parked them in front of my unit. I was suppose to be about to get my uhaul at 2 am but wasn't able to pick it up until 9 am. Throwing off all my schedule for them move. The whole thing using uhaul has been a nightmare Next time I will pay extra to get an istorage and Ryder truck. I was very disappointed on uhaul. When you went into the office or store on 6th ave. The customer service was very poor. I stood in the store over 15 mins with no one to be found and they was all seen out back smoking. This store needs new management or employees. This is getting ridiculous

Quite a bit more than I'm used to paying! Could NEVER get a hold of anyone by phone! Always on hold. Billing is bizarre...account online shows NO balance due but then assessed a late for not paying! "There was no balance due the 21st. You didn't have a balance until the 22nd. But you didn't pay it so there's a late fee." Well if NO balance is on account why would I pay? If there's a balance DUE the 22nd, then it should show that online from the 23rd of previous month until date due! Seriously?! But it was convenient to home and available when I needed it but I bought a small shed and put up at home b/c it's much more convenient and affordable!

Door was falling off at the bottom. Kept rental 2 months, door was never repaired. Access/ egress was bad, in back by gravel alley with trash, & Hugh potholes. Hardly any lights in that area at all.
