I wasn't going to say anything but uhaul sent out a this email. The guy who I dealt with was a bit strange to say the least. While hooking up the trailer he seemed to be having a hard time. I tried to assist him by flipping up the trailer receiver latch while he was yanking on the trailer to scoot it closer. As I flipped the receiver latch up he slapped my hand and said I was going to break the internals of the latch. I don't normally allow someone to slap me without an equal response but I was quite surprised. Another young employee chimed in and said "he doesn't mean to be rude". I am assuming the employee has some mental or emotional problems. Again I was still stunned being I own a construction company with many enclosed and equipment trailers for heavy equipment. I just moved to the Nashville area so I don't have my trailers which is why I rented a uhaul that day. Anyways that was my experience.

There were still tater tots behind the passenger seat. Dirt all over the floor bed. Also we were forced to purchase safe move coverage because it was a cargo van even after telling the clerk that we had coverage through our insurance.

I was given the incorrect trailer twice. My reservation was changed from 24hrs to 6hrs. They tried to charge me a late fee. The trailer had some damage, which I made them aware of when I got it, and they tried charging me for it. I'll NEVER go to this location again

She was very helpful in the step-by-step self check-in process/25, detailed, creative, patient, professional, and a joy. We both actually had a good time our conversation, real and pleasant. The employees at the rental location were personable, friendly, professional, and efficient for a great overall customer service experience. GM Jonathan went above and beyond to greet me when I arrived. Even on a Sunday when they had equipment to move he patiently took his time to help me bc the self check in the app was not processing or working correctly. He was able to effortlessly and proudly walk me thru each step as well as the live verify. Kept a smile on his face and made sure to check on us before during and after our rental. We forgot supplies and he helped us get them quickly and be on our way so it did not cut into our drive time. I had problems with the app coming back at drop off and he was there to assist again. He's a great face to this company and we could tell he takes pride in keeping this location clean, proper, orderly and running fluidly and communicating effectively with his team members!

There was a heavy set Caucasian male employee at the desk when I walked in and he was helping another Caucasian gentleman. I was never acknowledged by the employee sitting at the desk. While I was standing there the employee left the desk still not acknowledging me standing there and he went outside. So that left no employee at the desk to help me. Soon after the employee went outside there was a young Caucasian man who walked in and was very helpful.

Please have the extra equipment I reserved available. I reserved a furniture dolly and a utility dolly, but when I arrived, they were out of stock which created a hardship for my move. I was told to try Lowes or Home Depot. Not helpful. Also, after I returned the truck and 24 blankets, I was charged for 6 additional blankets which I didn't receive so I had to call back and request a payment adjustment.

I didn't have an overall bad experience however whenever i had a question it was always difficult getting a hold of anyone at the office location, it would be great if there was someone dedicated to storage. Especially during busy days.

I reserved a truck the day before my move, and asked for furniture dollies. I had hired a helper for the day, allowing four hours for the move, a distance of approximately 25 miles When I arrived the following day to pick up my truck there was no record of my reservation. It took the better part of an hour to get that straightened out. When I reached my destination, I realized there were no dollies provided. I called the U-Haul office and they suggested that I try to get dollies from a dealer in the city I was in. No luck there, so drove back to the U-Haul to see if they could finde at least one dolly. They said there were none on the property. While in the office I saw four dollies stacked, and was told they were for purchase only I finally had to go to Harbor Freight and purchase two dollies. This was about two and a half hours of the four I had allotted for the move with my helper who needed to return to his employer. As a result I ended up with no help unloading at U-Haul. Then I was told to here were no units available. After much discussion they found a single unit, that had a broken door, which could not be secured. It took at least another month to get the door replaced.

I had a great experience with renting the storage room for the past year. This was a temporary situation from the start and U-Haul provided exactly what I needed.

I think the facility is very nice and clean but the rental cost per month is ridiculously high. I left because I found a unit the same size for half of the price. I finally got tired of the price constantly going up. $189 for a small 10 x 10 unit is ridiculous. Would not recommend anyone for that reason

We have used U-Haul for decades. We didn't leave U-Haul as a customer; we moved our stuff to a different location close to home. So, although we left Mt. Juliet, we are still a very happy continuing customer. And if we ever have the luxury of buying house, we will again use U-Haul to move our stuff. And adding to that when we get our business up and running, we will use U-Haul for our equipment. Thank You for being awesome.

Manager at the time of move-in (Hussein Alsafi) did not honor the first month free promotion that was quoted in our truck rental. Hussein was the employee who checked us in to the storage unit and claimed that his manager did not allow for him to honor the promotion. When I asked why they did not contact us to make us aware, he did not understand why that would've been necessary. Stated he did not know how to refund the payment for the first month's rent. He advised I reach out to UHaul corporate, who then advised me that it was the discretion of the Storage Facilities to issue refunds. We did not pursue further action because we were still occupying the storage unit. Storage Facility was well lit and well monitored, and all of our things in the unit itself were safe and not damaged at the time of move-out.

The General Manager, Hussein, was extremely helpful. We had two, minor issues with some on-line accounting that he was able to completely able to resolve. He even added a couple more perks to our account that we found very useful. Highly recommend this place. Everything was as we expected after we completed our 700 mile, one-way trip from Florida.

The process was so easy to reserve a space online. Carts are available in the facility for easy moving in and out. I experienced no negative issues while using the storage facility.

The staff was dismissive upon move in. It seemed to be an hassle for them to do their job and it was not a good experience. I left feedback about that but received no response. The staff was also and pushy, rude, and overall unfriendly upon move out. Not 45 minutes after the last of my items were out did I receive multiple, back to back calls asking to process my move out. I paid through 12/6, my items were moved out on 11/13. I did not appreciate the rush to vacate my unit during work hours interrupting a meeting for a non-emergent issue. I do not recommend this location.

I made a truck rental and storage reservation online. I confirmed with U-Haul customer service that I would receive the free month of storage upon move in for the month 10/6-11-5 even though my truck reservation was for a future date, 12/1. Upon move in I was curtly informed that that was not the case and it was explained to me in a quite juvenile manner by a staff member at the storage location that that was not the case. Since I am on a time crunch for my move I did not have the ability to shop around for another option. I feel that U-Haul was deceptive in its promise but more than that I feel that customer relations should be worked on for this staff member as they did not have to speak down to me as if I did t have a brain.

The door to the unit was bent and therefore not as secure without something in the unit behind the door to block it from being lifted. I was able to do that from the day I arrived, so it was not an issue! They said they would have it repaired once I moved out. I reminded them when I moved out and they said they would be taking care of it for the next guest. Everything about our experience was great and they worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed!

I have never had a positive experience at Uhaul, unfortunately. At my recent visit, I waited half an hour before someone was able to help me. The staff lack communication and customer service skills. As well, the terms of business were not clearly explained to me, resulting in a surprise charge on my card.

The motion sensor lights in the hallway need to stay on longer. If you are in your unit and the hallway lights go off it's dangerous trying to get out to the hall to get the lights to come back on if you are packing/unpacking as you can't see since the individual units aren't lit.

The unit alarm went off when I opened it. I went to talk to a manager to see of that were a normal thing, the uhaul team locked the doors. The police showed up later to see what was happening I was being criminalized for opening the door to a unit I paid for two days before. There has been no cancelation notice up to this time, and still yet to recieve any. I am currently considering legal action for the distress, defamation, breach of contract, and humiliation. I have never received such a unprofessional service in my life.

I would recommend anyone looking for a safe place to store your belongings at this facility, they have really friendly staff and they walked me through the move in process and they do provide locks that are inexpensive. Unfortunately, I do have to give it a one star rating due to when I was moving out an employee charged me on "accident" for 3 fee's totaling 80$. I was on the phone with them as they made this error, they ended up calling over a manager whom stated they didn't know what the charge was for. The employee then stated they "may" have checked the 3 boxes that added those fee's. We ended the call with pretty much there is nothing that can be done because it has already processed on their end. I then received a call back from the manager shortly after, he said he contacted corporate and they also stated there was nothing that could be done because I had already moved out of the unit and it had already processed on their end. The manager said unfortunately I would still be charged regardless of their mistake and they "may" be able to refund me or "something". I immediately locked my cards, and I am waiting to see if they proceed with charging me. I do not usually write reviews but when I do, I try to be as honest as possible. I really did enjoy my stay at this location, just really unprofessional that nobody could correct their mistakes. At the end of the day I am still extremely happy to say I was confident in trusting this facility to hold my belongings. And I realize people make mistakes! So, no need for an all negative review it deserves the good too. :)

Looked online Sunday and seen 10x10 units available. Went to facility. 2 lazy employees said there were no 10x10s available and "pulled a report" to verify. Went back out to my vehicle, got online, and rented the 10x10 unit that I wanted while sitting in the parking lot. Did their job for them, maybe they should share their paycheck.

Mt Juliet Uhaul is run well. The staff is great, some are young you get some non sense with that, but overall it was a pleasure to do business there. Adam Cash helped me with returning furniture pads and getting refunded, I appreciate hiw he handled that. 5 stars.

My only complaint is it is very difficult to communicate with the location. When you call the number, it transfers to the 800# which is typically unable to help with your call. You should be able to contact the location directly and only speak to the direct location.

Renting a truck here was no issue. Being told a storage space was available at the time the reservation was made and later finding out that, not only was the unit no longer available, there was no way of knowing when one would be ready threw a massive wrench in our moving day. Why allow reservations to be made and ask for a date that a unit would be needed if there are no units available? Fortunately the team managed a workaround and getting a unit secured but I can't imagine everyone being so fortunate in the future.

Office hours were convenient, but not always staffed to help. 3-4 guys in bay area while customers waited in store for help. Or, 2-3 guys helping with rental jobs, but no one manning the store. However, I know help is hard to come by, but when you have 3-4 guys in the garage or 3guys helping with a rental truck while regular paying customers are sitting inside waiting for help, it gets annoying. However, guys were always helpful and pleasant when you finally got service. I just want to go back in time when ppl who paid monthly for services got customer service within a reasonable time (is 15 mins too much to ask when 3-4 ppl are with someone else, and you're left standing with no help?

Both 1st floor 10x10s we rented had water on top of 1’or 2 plastic bins we had converted our stored items into previously(- The water appeared to be orienting on the rear wall from above ; if we still had item had items in cardboard some things would have been ruined

I have got to say, this was my first U-Haul experience. Moving out of State was a scary ordeal. I have never done it and only had myself, my Sister and my Brother in law to help. From beginning to end the experience was way more than we expected. Everyone was helpful, kind and professional. If ever I should have to do it again, I will definitely go through your company. The only problem I had was there was a couple of weeks when I couldn't get in because I thought I'd lost my key and I couldn't find what I needed to unlock my lock. When I finally called to arrange to have it cut off, I was told that a new lock had been put on my unit and no one told me until then.

First, they gave me a unit that already had someone elses belongings inside and then issued me a new storage space. THAT space was empty, but they forgot to add that to my account so they locked my box up. Had to chat with them about that issue for nearly a half hour trying to get THAT squared away. Then the truck I rented to haul my toolbox had a door that kept popping open, and if it wasnt for a friendly driver on the road, I could have spilled everything out that wasnt tied down and/or killed someone. Truck had a cracked windscreen. Not a biggie, but I had to explain it away after the fact. After that, they neglected to close my account when I returned the vehicle as the unit was now empty. Now I keep getting rent reminders and charges added to a unit that I turned in 1 month ago. So you tell me how my experience was.

The overhead door/garage door was bent and off the track at the bottom. It got to the point that I could not open it all the way up, nor could I close it. I complained and a member of the staff worked on it and got it closed. I returned several days later and the door was still bent and water was dripping down on my quilting machine. I asked to see the manager, and was told he wasn't there. I left a message for him to call me….he never did. So I moved out to another storage company down the road.

Having the storage unit at the same location as the van rental made our move much more efficient. We unloaded the moving van into our storage unit and didn't have to worry about taking the van to be dropped off...we were already there!

We are moving to Nashville from out of town. We were looking for a storage unit that was secure and affordable. We are very pleased with our choice to store our things with Uhaul storage facilities! As a bonus, we got our first month free!

Your staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Our house was impacted by tornado last year in Mt Juliet TN. This location gave us a month free up front. Our repairs.took much longer than anticipated. I'm happy to say that 15 months later I would definitely recommend this location. Although our unit wasn't air conditioned, our items were all in terrific shape. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location to friends and family.

Once the access keypad was repaired a few years ago by the new management, this was an excellent storage facility to access and easy to utilize.

Rude and unhelpful, wouldn't answer questions, if I treated customers the way I was treated I wouldn't have any. Will avoid uhaul in the future, left a bad taste in my mouth. I went to another storage place close by and they were very helpful, had a bigger unit for less money and provided an overall excellent experience.

After a couple stressful days of moving the employees here were so friendly and helpful. Overall, the light at the end of the tunnel and changed the day around.

Upon arrival, unit had not been swept out and dead roaches were present. Staff did let me borrow a broom to sweep out. During our near 2 month stay, we caught one roach, which is not bad at all, but also caught one mouse, which I'm glad the wife didn't see. I felt the facility was secure, but punching in a code every time between trips in the truck was a bit annoying. Overall, not a bad experience.

...the on line didn't explain the circumstances for the change of our pick up location...we found out the "why" after going to our original place who explained there wasn't an available vehicle...otherwise the locations in St. Louis and here in MT. Juliet have been helpful in explaining and offering assistance...

Terrible experience. Tried to change account details several times but they kept getting it wrong. Booked a van and was sent a U-Haul PROMISE that was not delivered upon, had to go many miles out of our way to get the van that we had a booked confirmation for. Will not use this facility again.

While the gentleman who helped me reserve my unit was very helpful and friendly, the one who moved me out was unfortunately not. His answers were short and he didn't seem to want to be bothered. He was very unenthusiastic about his job. I've used this facility before and could have sworn there was a proration of rent if you moved out early; yesterday while I was mid-question, he cut me off saying "they don't prorate." It's frustrating because we were just billed roughly 3-5 days ago and basically had the whole month left. That part isn't his fault but his attitude and delivery of information to customers could use some attention.

Our rental unit was not swept,out, had dead cockroaches, and mouse droppings in the well of an interior wall. I was was expecting a lot more, as far as cleanliness from "indoor climate controlled" storage facility. I told an employee there and he stated that he never goes into the storage units and gave me the managers card. Matter of fact the pile we swept out, was still there today. I know that the business can't control what is brought in and it's impossible to be pest free, but this unit should have been inspected before move in.
