Great customer service and quickly processed my trailer rental.
David DI was told my auto trailer had a brake light bulb out when I went to pickup. I asked why didn't they change the bulb? His reply was that they have to order the bulb. I said I could probably get a ticket for that, and his curt reply was "you could". I was dumbfounded and said just give me the trailer. I guess I expected a proper working trailer, was that too much to ask? When I inspected the trailer, it seems the brake lights worked just fine. Go figure!

WILEY RThe pickup I rented had oil filter that was not tight leaked all the oil out they need to check with the place that they get vehicles serviced about their quality of work because it could have been a bigger issue. The truck could have blown the motor up. But road side assistance fixed it they gentlemen was very nice and fixed issue quickly.
JAMES CCharles Burton is a super U-Haul store owner. The facility is really clean and organized. The bathrooms are very nice and well maintained. The auto hauler trailer I rented was in excellent shape and performed the car haul perfectly. Thank you Charles!

JOSEPH TThe service was poor when I picked up the truck. The truck was in bad shape. The attendee did not tell me about the condition of the truck. We had to lioThe person never did an inspection with me. The windshield was cracked, the air pressure was low, and I was never given a key to lock the back of the truck.
IRENE RI have used this location 5 different times now and it has always been a great experience until this time. I got there around 5pm on 03/28 to pick up the truck and we were greeted by the smell of marijuana outside AND inside the building. The woman checking us in was clearly high. She was the same one (by her voice) that left me on hold on the phone for 4 mins earlier thst afternoon and never came back when I called earlier that day. When we finally got the truck (which had been upgraded to the 26' because that's all they had and was the only positive part of this rental) it had some pretty bad body damage (that was marked, thank goodness) and the windshield was cracked all the way across with multiple cracks (also marked) but felt this truck should not have been rented out. Upon return, everything was fine except the guy literally gave me so much shit over the gas being JUST under the original line (like not even one little mark under!) and proceeded to charge me $20+ for gas which I have never been charged for gas before because it's always been filled back up at/just shy of the original mark. Yall could fix this and make it easier by filling the truck completely up at pick up/drop off instead of the average person trying to get it exact. It's never been an issue before and felt it was super petty. We had such a positive experience in 2024 there, but this time was so bad, we will never use this location again.

REGINA BThe u haul I got was not clean, it wasn't all the way on full but I was told it was and when I returned it I made sure it was all the way on full and I think if it says 19,95 to rent a uhaul that's what it should be why should I have to pay for the miles as well it's a rip off, I'm not happy at all with my experience and would like a refund

We showed up at 4:35 or so, I had a 4pm pickup scheduled, the gentleman called at 4:15 to confirm we were still coming, said he was going to get the truck and trailer hooked up for an easy turn around once we got there. We didn't leave either the truck/trailer until 5:20 or so. There were 2 others in front of us and only one employee in the store to answer phones, check in guests and pull up the equipment.

The facility has water leaks! I got moved out apparently because the lock wasn't on the door, I had to get my last load from W V, Pulled in to unload and the nightmare started. JOHNLABARR a | Premières impressionsI rented a space for a year. Overall my experience was pleasant. MY ONLY PROBLEM/CONCERN/CRITIQUE IS THE FOLLOWING: My billing day was the 19th of every month. The South Park location forwarded late notices to SEVERAL DIFFERENT ADDRESSES. Addresses that weren't mine and addresses I never lived at. It's clear that some sort of investigation had to happen to even get the addresses. I believe that that is just extreme. These notices were sent out as soon as the 20th and sometimes judging by the postmarks three in the same day. I've never been more than a few days late. I've never ever owed more than what was due the current month. And upon move out I owed nothing, in fact I had two remaining weeks on the current month I had already paid. This amount of invoicing or building of any kind is absurd. It seems they went on the internet and just sent out invoices to whatever addresses they could find. When in fact your offices had several phone numbers for me and my email address. I always answered when they called me or returned the call right away. I don't understand why my invoices and late notices were mailed out, listing personal information and storage my location and I can't understand for the life of me why anyone from UHAUL would dim this appropriate or legal for that matter. I don't know why billing felt it necessary to use mail of any kind when I had already opted for paperless contact, never gave a forwarding addres to mail any information of any kind to. I can't even at this moment understand why I had mail sent all over the state, to relatives of friends and random strangers who knew those relatives. (The only reason I got wind of it at all) This collection policy of yours is one of the very reasons why I removed my belongings and it is also the reason why I would probably never rent a space for the amount of time I rented this space for. It was invasive and in my humble opinion very dangerous. Whenever someone is in a storage or moving situation the last thing that should be allowed is for any type of collection process to begin the very day after the bill is due and for that invoice and location to be mailed to any random address found off the internet. I found it extremely unprofessional. Also, The digital card machine that grants you access into the storage area at the South Park location sometimes doesn't work upon the first swipe or the second or the fifth for that matter one day I attempted to get into my storage facility and could not gain access on my own due to a faulty swipe machine and had to be let in from inside the facility on this day I contacted the facility manager and left a message detailing exactly what my problem was and this was 8 months ago I have never heard from him or gotten an email or call about it. This was very distasteful. Though I never had any additional problems gaining access it left quite the sour taste in my mouth to know that if I ever in fact had a problem that there would be no contact made by the management or any representatives at the location. Sad to say this was good storage but absolutely not good business. I have been a customer of U-Haul for over 10 years and honestly before this experience I had nothing bad to say. A personal relationship with a customer renting from you for a year should be established and respected. That is all. S. Powells
