Gas into fuel tank UHAUL ISSUE-Truck not processed back IN. I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE by Quincy. My Truck was never processed back into the uhaul inventory. -My UHAUL was not recorded as RETURNED to the parking lot. Once I called the uhaul business about the low gas. I was charged on 4/2/25 by this Uhaul in Kingsessing Philadelphia PA. As having the truck for 2 to 3 days they couldn't locate their BRAND NEW Uhaul Truck I used 3/30 for 1 day. Returned the next day 3/31. I physically went up to the uhaul business. I put in and left a REFUND inquiry TO THE MANAGER . And thru the customer service team on April 2nd. The rep was completely unapologetic - it wasn't his problem. Since I was moving and requires those items, I had to go to two other U-Haul locations to track them down. Your system for tracking those things is completely fucked.
BRANDON EAlthough My vehicle was neat, clean and everything was in good condition the tire pressure sensor was on. My only concern regarding the location was the area. High and aggressive traffic trying to get into and out of the lot also the location felt very unsafe.

Sibyl JWhen I placed my order over the phone, I asked for an open bed truck and motorcycle trailer. When I picked up the truck and trailer, all they had were the standard enclosed moving trucks. I needed the open bed truck but I was told after confirming and paying that they don't carry those at that location. I asked to be compensated in some way because the truck they gave me would get terrible gas mileage and would probably cost more per mile to operate. I was told no because I had already confirmed my order. I spent $470 just to tow a motorcycle from New Brunswick. I probably could have just bought and attached a tow hitch to my car and my own trailer for that much money.
Michael FBad experience, I had to travel to 3 different locations just get a U-haul truck. Won't be using that rental company (U-haul) on the future

Lewis GI was billed extra 280$ for me trailer rental. Because the person who work at the desk didn't put my info right. I needed it for a different drop off location. Worst service ever. Didn't even helpe hook up the trailer.
Kevin VWhen I tried to close the loading door, it was sticking and caused me to fall off the bumper and bang my knees so hard that I couldn't walk. I crawled into the truck and drove it home the night security guard in my building borrowed a neighbor's wheelchair and took me up to my apt. I soaked my knees in hot water to get some of the swelling out, my left knee was 3 to 4 times its size after soaking my knees for several hours, I was able to walk a little using my cane, so at that time I took the truck back and told them what happened. they were not concerned at all and dared to overcharge me for the rental I am seriously considering seeing them

DIEGO AThe person who checked me out was super rude! He had an attitude when I told him that I was looking for someone saying that he was the only person there…. And then when I thought he was helping he called home I believe to talk to his children and whoever else for like 60-90 seconds before finally helping me and then when he was ready he called me like I was stupid because I didn't know that he was talking to me I thought that he was still on the phone. It was bad. And I initially came to do a mobile check in but that didn't work because did the location of the building….. and then when I get in the truck I check the mileage and its a little under 1/4 so I made sure to state that and the outside was dirty as hell when I was driving I could barely see at points because the truck was very dirty on the outside and the windshield wiper fluid was not working and then when I finally got it to work it squirted out in the wrong direction, not at the window….. I drove about 3 minutes from the U-Haul location and the gas gauge dropped drastically….. I put gas in the car on my way back and I was still charged for fueling…. I called about it and was told I was already refunded and that the charge was caught by someone and reversed… although instead of my original $55 I still paid 102 for fuelage when it was supposed to be $54….. and have not received my refund… so that's a total of $157….. guess I'm going to try calling again…. Wish me luck.爛

LEWIS GThe people I came encounter with at the store and over the phone were fine perfect it was just the vehicle had a tire sensor light on before I rented it he told me it was fine it was just a broken sensor then after driving it for a day the key fob starts flashing low battery on the dashboard. So for the four days I had it I just kept getting alerts every day about a tire sensor or key fob, got me where I needed to go just was worried about that tire center all the time it went off. The workers there they were great when I picked it upon the 1st it was only one guy running around to I think it was three four different people there and he had a limp to his walk but he was moving and getting things done and also the lady I spoke to on the phone on the morning of January the 6th after bringing it back about the charges to the card she was great too even though I called there upset she went through everything and explained it to me and she made it all better so thanks to whoever that was

LATANDRA SIts not fair that your rental time starts when you leave the counter but then you have to take pictures of the vehicle which can take about 15 mins to complete. This should be done as part of the check out process.
ALLEN HI had a smooth and easy experience! Staff was very friendly, helpful, and patient with my questions. The vehicle I reserved was clean, ready, and waiting for me. I was very pleased, and based on this experience, would use U Haul again!

Conni TThe General Manager Naquise was very helpful with the truck rental and in correcting my information for the storage rental. However, the young lady that I spoke to over the phone may not be the best person to answer your calls when trying to assist someone. She barely listened to my issue trying to rush me off the phone and placed me on hold for 23 mins before hanging up the line. When I called back, she started raising her voice about what she needed to do when I was trying to give her additional information that would help her in her search for my account. Fortunately, the next time she put me on hold Naquise answered and resolved my issue. Having been in the customer service industry myself for many years, customer service training may need to be implemented there before having your staff answer calls for the public. Since your calls are recorded, you can listen for yourself. The calls took place on 11/27/24 @ 11:53 am and 12:20 pm

When I got there I was told there was no available units until the following day, when I got there the next day the lady at the front desk walks me to my unit which had someone stuff already in it, so I got switched to another unit that was locked .so I had to clean out a 3rd unit that wasnt mine (very unsanitary) because that's all they had . Prior to me still having to unload my own uhaul truck . Terrible experience & staff not organized

My email, but my experience has not been a good one. First off your staff has been rude to me several times 1 time I came at night and I have or had 24 hour storage access and I wasn't able to get in and the manager wasn't answering the phone. No one was helping me. I traveled a long way just to get into my rental. The people that are there I've. I have not been that helpful.I also have had a lot of my things damaged due Mouse infestation, I didn't know what to do I just threw my stuff out. I was gonna report it, but then I thought no one's gonna believe me. It's just gonna be another issue where no one really hairs. So I mean no one cared that I couldn't get into the store junior several times who's gonna care that my stuff got damaged even though I pay insurance? So I haven't had a good experience being at your facility.

Please keep in mind most of my issues were with previous management so I'm not putting this on the current staff. -Reservation was lost and I was put in a "larger" unit that cost me more than what my price was quoted when I made my reservation. Mgt didn't respond or reply to my inquiry concerning this. I ended up paying about $30-40 more than my Reservation price. -Unable to access unit when I requested late access a few times. Mgt didn't respond to my inquiry concerning this either. -Recieved a rate increase less than 6mos into using storage facility. Mgt didn't respond to my inquiry concerning this either. Rate went up an additional $20 a month. -Rodents destroyed my mattress topper and I need help putting in a damage claim. Not sure what else was destroyed by rodents, I'm still going through my belongings. --Rodent droppings inside boxes and on top of furniture. --Birds were nesting in my belongings, I knocked over one of my baskets and a little blue egg fell out.

We were unable to move the truck because we had already started unloading and the remaining stuff would have fallen over if we drove. The woman who locked the doors was very rude and had no concern for how inconvenient she was making the rest of our move. She said " Well I'm leaving for the night" I was paying movers by the hour and it cost me more money to have my stuff moved in. I would never recommend this uhal. On the other hand the woman who helped me at the front desk was wonderful and fast.

The rodent bait box was empty and a little unnerving just thinking about the possibility of finding a dead rodent in my things. And it's extremely hot in there on some days.

I was originally in a storage unit 1258 that mice and or rats destroyed my belongings. Then when I sent in a bunch of proof of what my things cost I was totally oh since you only have $1 000 worth of protection on your storage unit that's all you're entitled to. Even though in the contract you guys maintain that you have clean and safe storage units. Then we go pick up My things on Monday. Open up the storage unit and there's mice and or rat poop You do realize that rodent dropping can kill people right? Not only that I am gathering proof to show that you guys illegally enrolled me in auto payments even though every time you did I unenrolled myself. I called and spoke to someone at the unit who told me and guaranteed me that they would take off any cards that I have on file so that I would not get hit with any auto payments. But low and behold I have several emails telling me that my auto payment failed! Customer service at this U-Haul it's so disgustingly lackadaisical and non-existent it should be a self-serve U-Haul. I would rather drag my body across broken glass on hot pavement in the Arizona Sun on the hottest day of the year than ever use this U-Haul again. It will bring me satisfaction see if I can make a case against this U-Haul for poor mismanagement the uncla cleanliness and of course the mice or rat issue.

Next when we went to our storage they removed a lock in which they replaced with the correct lock because during time of move in they were out of stock. Once replaced they gave us the wrong key back so we couldn't get in our storage. They tried to charge me another month in which I was coming to remove my items out of the storage unit however, I could not being so I did not have the correct key to do so the manager stated that he will have one of his representatives cut off the lot and replace it with a lock they can only open however he never took off the lot for either one of my lockers, the lock that will be use for the link when accounts, neither one of my accounts were in delinquent, they were paid up and the lock was never removed from when they were delinquent which was two months prior, so I was unable to remove out of my storage once I arrived on Saturday, October 8 The lock had not been cut off. They had to have a saw to remove it, and which the representative did not know how to use so my partner who is a contractor and carpenter had to remove it with a representative. This was a big inconvenience for myself, and my partner in our children and helpers. This was one of the worst experiences with U-Haul I've ever experienced besides the terrible customer service that all the representatives in this location share Until I became irate and then they showed that they cared.

It was easy to access the locker and climate maintenance was good etc. However, when I came to move my furniture out after a year of storage, everything was absolutely covered in mouse poop and maybe mouse urine. I had to sterilize everything that I could, but the upholstered furniture I could only vacuum. The light colored furniture was left with brown splotches. There was what looked like animal hair all over one of the chairs. The mice had chewed through plastic storage bags for pillows, making me wonder if even wrapping everything in plastic would have prevented the damage. I did not keep any food or perishable items in the locker, but someone nearby must have. This facility should give warnings that all up upholstered furniture should be protected by plastic prior to storage. Emptying the locker was truly a disgusting experience. It's a shame because everything else about the storage facility was very good, but at the end of the day it did not keep my furniture in very good condition.

THIS uhaul, is always VERY clean and the staff always helpful. Everytime I call or go to the location the people there are pleasant, helpful and go the extra mile. There is always enough staff. I love their rapport together (at least what I can tell from their chit chat). Their talking to each other has never taken away from how attentive they are. While some may be a bit put off by the neighborhood, it isn't fancy, I would happily recommend this location everytime. You hired good people here. Storage areas are notorious for bad service. But this location is not one of them. I rented my unit from June 2020 to august 2022. No complaints.

The unit #(2120 )that was given to me was not checked before it was given, it has uhaul building materials in it and my unit has no light, it's very dark. I took my lock and keys after 11am and saw uhaul stuff in the unit and reported to your manager on duty, she did not ask her stuff to remove the stuff before my moved in, after 3:30pm when I came back to the unit with my belongings, my unit still was not empty so I went to the desk to ask why my unit was still not empty, and your manager looked at me from head to toes and arrogantly responded that she will get someone to remove the stuff from my unit. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful in her words and body language, til her coworkers had to calm her down and ask her to help them remove the things from my unit. Moving forward, Uhaul should have their staff checked a unit before assigning it to customers before another person encounter what I when through with this manager. If your cameras in the front, hallway and at my unit area are audible u can look it up and confirm my case. Thanks for your understanding. Thanks to a new staff called BJ that was helpful to me at the end of my move.

The security card does not work. With all the crime in the area, they expect you to unload and load outside so you can get robbed. Actually cost me more than I saved. Not quite sure what to do I am still working out the numbers but I would like a reimbursement I will get my one month free as promised on the storage unit it's tough times and it just makes it harder on me and my Family.

Once jamill got my unit situated and I signed off and paid for it he asked cinthia in which direction was my unit because it wasn't visible on the map cinthia told him I don't know and I don't care find it for her to act in that manner not only was lack of customer service but she is not a team player. I am completely disgusted with not only the lack of customer service face to face but the day prior I was told the unit I rented wasnt avail but when I contacted the call center they reserved it for me via the call center right when I got off the phone with the facility I am renting at directly and they told me the unit wasn't avail

Two plus hours south from my home and in the opposite direction of where I was going. 2. Then I was given a truck to use but I had to return it back to DC from Philadelphia. 3. The moving help service was a joke and I had to find help on my own. Their website needs improvement as well. Tatianna at moving help was wonderful, however.

When I arrived to the U-Haul moving and storage of kingsessing after making an online reservation for a storage unit, I was helped by Jasmine who proceeded to tell me I had no reservation and nothing under my name, despite offering multiple times to tell her my reservation number. She then had me start from the beginning on a new reservation. Once this was complete, she asked me if I needed a lock. I explained I had purchased one already and then she explained that I should not use that kind of lock because it can be cut. I then asked to purchase the correct kind of lock. She then told me they did not have any but she would check the shipment that she was unboxing. I was asked by a different store attendant if I was given a card to access the storage facility and said that I was no. He said that I should have been given a card swipe. He returned to show me to my storage unit but did not return with any card. I proceeded to move in my belongings and once finished went back to the office. It was 6:30pm and the doors had been shut off, despite the office closing at 7pm. I then asked if she found any locks, she said no. I asked her what she recommended I do because she had told me earlier not to use the lock I had purchased. She stated that my options were that lock or nothing. I then went to return the U-Haul truck we rented while my wife went to speak with Jasmine. My wife asked her to contact her manager and she did. The manager of the Kingsessing store then said that she would be picking up the correct locks in the morning, that she would see to it that a proper lock was placed on our storage unit in the morning, and that she would hold the keys in her office until we would be able to return to Philadelphia (seeing as we were returning to NY that night and would be unable to return for several days). The next day (today ), I called around 11am check in on the status of my lock. I was told I would be called back in a half hour with an update. At approximately 4:30pm after still having heard nothing from anyone at the Kingsessing Store, I called again and was told that a lock had not been placed on our unit but one would be soon and that we would receive an email confirming this. I am overwhelmingly dissatisfied with the dismissive, unhelpful, and inconsistent way I have been treated. I also am incredibly upset that I was told I'd be called back multiple times after being out on hold for long periods of time and never called back. I am reconsidering ever using U-Haul again.
