Emily AldermanIn the middle of my move I was denied access to the large doors and told I had to move the rest of my stuff through a small door. We were unable to move the truck because we had already started unloading and the remaining stuff would have fallen over if we drove. The woman who locked the doors was very rude and had no concern for how inconvenient she was making the rest of our move. She said " Well I'm leaving for the night" I was paying movers by the hour and it cost me more money to have my stuff moved in. I would never recommend this uhal. On the other hand the woman who helped me at the front desk was wonderful and fast.

The store was quite busy and the staff handled it like pros, multitasking and helping everyone out. Two thumbs up!!

TARA MORTON-BINESMy only complaint is that I was charged $30 because I failed to put in one gallon of gas in the truck to bring it back up to where it was. That is utterly ridiculous!! Don't you have your own gas tanks to fill up your trucks? Unbelievable!!!

Mavlon MalikovThe person who helped me out at the counter was fantastic and made sure that I knew the process to get the vehicle back. Really easy and the van worked great. The only thing is that it's not in the greatest part of town and after I dropped off the van in the evening and was waiting for public transit I heard a lot of gunshots nearby. That's why I wouldn't recommend the location otherwise it was great.

Also when unloading my things I seen dropping on my things and dead mouse in my boxes. But every time I went there I always seen someone cleaning. Just make sure that you secure your boxes.

Never needed to apologize for the interruption because she never made me feel slighted, but she did anyway. She has a wonderful personality and demeanor. Mad I forgot her name but she's short and dark skinned tone. She's the reason I would return. Also the gentleman I did the return with was great.

Mikhal GokmenThe interior of the truck was ok but the passenger side mirror would not stay in place and needed to be tightened. I was unable to change lanes safely because the looseness of the mirror. I had to return the truck to the location because the engine/oil indicator light was on. I returned to the facility to have the agent check the fluids. I should be compensated for being given an unsafe vehicle. I will be needing the same 10ft vehicle this Saturday and should not be charged or given a discount.

Charging my card for each box is annoying and caused my card to lock for fraud. My items were poorly packed and my tv got broken the fact that I have to call to separate companies for the moving people and U-Haul is super confusing. As a military retiree trying ti move my family the process was so complicated and stressful it was very triggering. I wouldn't in good conscience recommend this service or your moving and packing service. I still haven't gotten resolution for my TV cause I can't catch the insurance people before they close

The rodent bait box was empty and a little unnerving just thinking about the possibility of finding a dead rodent in my things. And it's extremely hot in there on some days.

I was originally in a storage unit 1258 that mice and or rats destroyed my belongings. Then when I sent in a bunch of proof of what my things cost I was totally oh since you only have $1 000 worth of protection on your storage unit that's all you're entitled to. Even though in the contract you guys maintain that you have clean and safe storage units. Then we go pick up My things on Monday. Open up the storage unit and there's mice and or rat poop You do realize that rodent dropping can kill people right? Not only that I am gathering proof to show that you guys illegally enrolled me in auto payments even though every time you did I unenrolled myself. I called and spoke to someone at the unit who told me and guaranteed me that they would take off any cards that I have on file so that I would not get hit with any auto payments. But low and behold I have several emails telling me that my auto payment failed! Customer service at this U-Haul it's so disgustingly lackadaisical and non-existent it should be a self-serve U-Haul. I would rather drag my body across broken glass on hot pavement in the Arizona Sun on the hottest day of the year than ever use this U-Haul again. It will bring me satisfaction see if I can make a case against this U-Haul for poor mismanagement the uncla cleanliness and of course the mice or rat issue.

shereef schullere | Expérience généraleWhere do I begin. When I first moved in I asked for my payments to be paid around the second week in each month. However they ignored my request. Next when we went to our storage they removed a lock in which they replaced with the correct lock because during time of move in they were out of stock. Once replaced they gave us the wrong key back so we couldn't get in our storage. They tried to charge me another month in which I was coming to remove my items out of the storage unit however, I could not being so I did not have the correct key to do so the manager stated that he will have one of his representatives cut off the lot and replace it with a lock they can only open however he never took off the lot for either one of my lockers, the lock that will be use for the link when accounts, neither one of my accounts were in delinquent, they were paid up and the lock was never removed from when they were delinquent which was two months prior, so I was unable to remove out of my storage once I arrived on Saturday, October 8 The lock had not been cut off. They had to have a saw to remove it, and which the representative did not know how to use so my partner who is a contractor and carpenter had to remove it with a representative. This was a big inconvenience for myself, and my partner in our children and helpers. This was one of the worst experiences with U-Haul I've ever experienced besides the terrible customer service that all the representatives in this location share Until I became irate and then they showed that they cared.

But as I reloaded to bring things in the door on the back would lock and I had to go through the front over and over again. I just getting over knee surgery. There should be a keys pad or something back there.

It was easy to access the locker and climate maintenance was good etc. However, when I came to move my furniture out after a year of storage, everything was absolutely covered in mouse poop and maybe mouse urine. I had to sterilize everything that I could, but the upholstered furniture I could only vacuum. The light colored furniture was left with brown splotches. There was what looked like animal hair all over one of the chairs. The mice had chewed through plastic storage bags for pillows, making me wonder if even wrapping everything in plastic would have prevented the damage. I did not keep any food or perishable items in the locker, but someone nearby must have. This facility should give warnings that all up upholstered furniture should be protected by plastic prior to storage. Emptying the locker was truly a disgusting experience. It's a shame because everything else about the storage facility was very good, but at the end of the day it did not keep my furniture in very good condition.

THIS uhaul, is always VERY clean and the staff always helpful. Everytime I call or go to the location the people there are pleasant, helpful and go the extra mile. There is always enough staff. I love their rapport together (at least what I can tell from their chit chat). Their talking to each other has never taken away from how attentive they are. While some may be a bit put off by the neighborhood, it isn't fancy, I would happily recommend this location everytime. You hired good people here. Storage areas are notorious for bad service. But this location is not one of them. I rented my unit from June 2020 to august 2022. No complaints.

The unit #(2120 )that was given to me was not checked before it was given, it has uhaul building materials in it and my unit has no light, it's very dark. I took my lock and keys after 11am and saw uhaul stuff in the unit and reported to your manager on duty, she did not ask her stuff to remove the stuff before my moved in, after 3:30pm when I came back to the unit with my belongings, my unit still was not empty so I went to the desk to ask why my unit was still not empty, and your manager looked at me from head to toes and arrogantly responded that she will get someone to remove the stuff from my unit. She was very unprofessional and disrespectful in her words and body language, til her coworkers had to calm her down and ask her to help them remove the things from my unit. Moving forward, Uhaul should have their staff checked a unit before assigning it to customers before another person encounter what I when through with this manager. If your cameras in the front, hallway and at my unit area are audible u can look it up and confirm my case. Thanks for your understanding. Thanks to a new staff called BJ that was helpful to me at the end of my move.

The doors are locked at night even though I pay for 24 hour access. The security card does not work. With all the crime in the area, they expect you to unload and load outside so you can get robbed. When my company pays for access to unload and load inside the garage.

My unit got flooded out and no one notified me so my stuff got destroyed and they still made me pay for the unit although they said they would prorate me for the month of November. The entire experience was nothing short of awful and I would throw my things in the garbage before I went from this facility again. This location either needs proper training or just fire the whole staff and find completely new people.

They were brand new when I bought them in there to store them. The customer bathroom was full of flies . I don't understand how they charge so much and won't call you back

After a few days, the manager straightened it out but then my autopay on the account got deleted when they updated my account with the new locker space. This caused me to have to pay a penalty for late rent. After I fixed that, all was fine. Very disappointed about the issues at move-in due to employee error that then negatively impacted me both mentally and financially.

Uhaul doesn't take responsibility for it, my last trip to Philadelphia I moved out of Kyu storage to get a free storage room which I didn't get because you're at 95 % capacity which was not told to me before moving from New Jersey to Pennsylvania to save money. Actually cost me more than I saved. Not quite sure what to do I am still working out the numbers but I would like a reimbursement I will get my one month free as promised on the storage unit it's tough times and it just makes it harder on me and my Family.

I was accused of losing my key and had to go through the removal process. It took my from 3/31 to 5/2 to finally get my belongings. I also had the police come to make a report and verify that I was being professional.

LLOYD CARPENTER | Expérience généraleWhen I first contacted the Uhaul in regards to the unit the female whom answered the phone was very rude the next day upon arrival to check in the associate Cinthia was extremely disgusting and dismissive the lead associate or manager jamill whom was on duty I spoke with and cinthia continued to be combative while I was explaining to him what occurred the day prior on the phone because I Assumed cinthia was the same associate I spoke to prior sucks to say cinthia was supposedly not the associate there the day prior which shows there is a complete lack of culture in the facility it self with customer service I was completely disgusted to experience the same behavior twice back to back amongst these associates when cinthia returned from checking in the truck from the gentleman prior to me whom she was rude with as well she refused to service me and made me wait for jamill. Once jamill got my unit situated and I signed off and paid for it he asked cinthia in which direction was my unit because it wasn't visible on the map cinthia told him I don't know and I don't care find it for her to act in that manner not only was lack of customer service but she is not a team player. I am completely disgusted with not only the lack of customer service face to face but the day prior I was told the unit I rented wasnt avail but when I contacted the call center they reserved it for me via the call center right when I got off the phone with the facility I am renting at directly and they told me the unit wasn't avail
Cordell Washington | Premières impressions1. I reserved a one way truck from DC to Philadelphia, but was assigned a truck that was located near Richmond, Virginia. Two plus hours south from my home and in the opposite direction of where I was going. 2. Then I was given a truck to use but I had to return it back to DC from Philadelphia. 3. The moving help service was a joke and I had to find help on my own. Their website needs improvement as well. Tatianna at moving help was wonderful, however.

Michael Howland Dewar | Expérience généraleMy entire experience dealing with U-Haul storage has been frustrating and difficult. When I arrived to the U-Haul moving and storage of kingsessing after making an online reservation for a storage unit, I was helped by Jasmine who proceeded to tell me I had no reservation and nothing under my name, despite offering multiple times to tell her my reservation number. She then had me start from the beginning on a new reservation. Once this was complete, she asked me if I needed a lock. I explained I had purchased one already and then she explained that I should not use that kind of lock because it can be cut. I then asked to purchase the correct kind of lock. She then told me they did not have any but she would check the shipment that she was unboxing. I was asked by a different store attendant if I was given a card to access the storage facility and said that I was no. He said that I should have been given a card swipe. He returned to show me to my storage unit but did not return with any card. I proceeded to move in my belongings and once finished went back to the office. It was 6:30pm and the doors had been shut off, despite the office closing at 7pm. I then asked if she found any locks, she said no. I asked her what she recommended I do because she had told me earlier not to use the lock I had purchased. She stated that my options were that lock or nothing. I then went to return the U-Haul truck we rented while my wife went to speak with Jasmine. My wife asked her to contact her manager and she did. The manager of the Kingsessing store then said that she would be picking up the correct locks in the morning, that she would see to it that a proper lock was placed on our storage unit in the morning, and that she would hold the keys in her office until we would be able to return to Philadelphia (seeing as we were returning to NY that night and would be unable to return for several days). The next day (today ), I called around 11am check in on the status of my lock. I was told I would be called back in a half hour with an update. At approximately 4:30pm after still having heard nothing from anyone at the Kingsessing Store, I called again and was told that a lock had not been placed on our unit but one would be soon and that we would receive an email confirming this. I am overwhelmingly dissatisfied with the dismissive, unhelpful, and inconsistent way I have been treated. I also am incredibly upset that I was told I'd be called back multiple times after being out on hold for long periods of time and never called back. I am reconsidering ever using U-Haul again.
