The truck's back hatch was very difficult to close, it almost required me to stand on it to get it totally closed. Also, the turn signal had to be manually turned off, but that was pretty trivial.

We rented a 6x12 trailer for a 3 day moving trip, and 2 out of 3 days something went wrong. A tire blew on day 2 and delayed our trip. After the tire got replaced, the next day all the lights on the trailer went out. I reached out to roadside assistance and never got an answer. We had to drive home in the dark with no lights on the trailer.

I rented a van for 8am pick up. When I arrived I had to call the 800 number because there were no keys to the van. That's when I learned I had to get the keys from inside the store because vans do not have a lockbox. This was terribly inconvenient since the store didn't open for another hour. I also had a friend with me who pushed her written schedule back in order to help me, and I had to contact my work to tell them in would be late. If customers cannot rent the vans before 9am due to no lockboxes, then we should not be able to choose a time before 9am when setting up the tented online.

I received a call in December stating that my storage unit was going up for auction next month which would be January 2025. My unit went to auction 12/26/24. This unit had everything that I own in it. Not even a chance to make payments or anything. I'm so sad right now.

Derek booked our truck for 39,95 on 12/23 and we went to pick up on 12/24 , a front office person was charging us $79 0,99 for a day instead of $39.95. It took a lot of talking but he still did not believe us and had to call Derek to confirm. It was not very professional and we had a stress even before renting it. I suggest that U-Haul needs to have better communication with each other, so a customer does not need to face this stressful situation

Make sure trucks are clean on the interior the dash was sticky and the passenger door lock didn’t work with the key.. The truck had issues while driving the ANS light came on and it started squealing and the traction control also.I was told I would get a discount for the issues we shall see.

Your staff at this facility are top tier. They were always helpful and helping. The manager goes above and beyond. I have absolutely no complaints. The facility was well kept, so clean and free of rodents and bugs for the most part. I would definitely recommend all my friend to use this storage.

Truck was filthy. Couldn't see past the bugs from the last renter. Tech didn't tell me I needed to chain the car to trailer. Rear trailer tire had a slow leak. Was flat in Nebraska. Took hours for someone to come change tire. I drove to a Walmart tire center. They would not touch it because it was a U-Haul trailer and I had to go through roadside assistance. Then I misplaced the keys. I tried for five hours to get them to send someone to rekey I didn't care what the cost was. they called me back three hours later and said they couldn't find anybody. I was on my own to try to get someone, maybe on Monday. 2 days later. which no one would touch thank God my wife went back into Walmart a third time to ask again. Has anybody found a key to the U-Haul. It miraculously showed up five hours later. My trip was horribly delayed. My wife and I were stuck in the middle of America.

The lady at the front need to be nicer

I pulled up to the location early last week before they were open and happened to notice that the back of the truck was open. I thought this was odd but maybe was overlooked and I proceeded with the rental. I finished the paperwork and payment process and then closed the back door of the truck when I noticed a pungent smell (think rotten food or dumpster). I was hoping it was an animal carcass in the creek beside the business but when I drove it home and opened up the truck to load it , I then realized that it was indeed the truck. We cleaned it multiple times with vinegar, cleaning solution and bleach and although it did improve some it never went away. I called Uhaul reservations when I realized the smell was here to stay and that it might affect my daughter's possessions that we were moving in the truck. Although, they were very empathetic and friendly they were unable to find me a replacement because it was a busy move in weekend. So now, after the smelly move my daughter is hoping her mattress will "air out" .At the same time, I am disappointed with the fact that I paid a lot of money for a truck that was not clean and obviously was known to not be clean. I know the smell is not the fault of Uhaul but the condition of the rental upon receipt is. Despite the apologetic and friendly people on the phone, I will likely never use Uhaul again and definitely will not return to this location as they obviously knew this truck had issues (this the open door to try and air out the smell.)

I'm there should be an in between answer option for some of these questions. The facility is infested with Japanese Stink Bugs which they should do something about. I brought a few unknowingly and unwillingly with me, hidden amongst some of my belongings. My unit was in the top floor. When I went to pick up and move out it was raining outside - apparently inside too. My unit had at least two leaks coming from a leaky roof. It was obvious they were old, ongoing leaks considering one leak was next to a metal beam that was rusting. I took plenty of pictures. I immediately called down to let the manager know about both issues. She replied "The bugs have been here since I've been here" and to two of my boxes being soaked "Did you get insurance?" EXCUSE ME?!? How about y'all maintain your building/property!!! I shouldn't need insurance from things being damaged because y'all can't repair a roof!! WHY was I paying $150 to has CLIMATE CONTROLLED storage when you can keep the weather out?? Not to mention paying a 50 % late fee and getting the same rude manager on the phone when I tried to discuss that with someone in your office?!? I have a new unit where I moved and it HALF what I paid at your place. So, can I say it was a terrible experience? Yes, 100 % I can with these issues just stated. Was it all the time? No, most of the time it was okay and not obvious issues. Then again how often does one hang out at their storage unit? Tondra, the manager I spoke of, has ZERO business working in customer service PERIOD. And please, I do not need her to call me again with her insincere apologies. She was rude on the phone a couple of months prior and when I was angry at the party who came with me she also decided she was getting involved with that too. Threatening me with not letting me lease the truck - even after it had been paid for. Telling me I was calling her names when all I did was tell my party that she was being over reactive. Also your policies on your website don't match up with what she said I had to do. I'm guessing, since she wanted to make my day even tougher, the website would be the correct procedure and not what she said. I was extremely happy to get my items out of this place. Was the overall okay, yes. All your other employees seemed to be professional, accommodating and courteous.

The associate who took helped me get set up with my storage unit and my moving truck reservation was super helpful, was an absolute sweetheart and answered all of my questions. The manager Pondra, on the other hand, was the complete opposite experience. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional, and I was shocked when she told me she was the manager. I was so disgusted with her attitude and behavior that I cancelled my moving truck reservation, and cancelled my storage unit with no backup plans even though I had to be vacated from my residence in 2 days. I have never experience such unprofessional behavior and poor customer service. On top of it all...she had a trainee with her! I will never do business with her or uhaul again after that experience.

I started out with one manager, Michelle Allen, and ended my rental with a second manager, Pondra Jones. I started with a good experience and I ended with the same good experience. The facility was always clean and attended. The staff was always courteous and helpful. Highly pleased with the service & my items from storage are in perfect condition.

The only thing I had an issue with was when I went to drop off a load at about 930pm last night there were U-Haul trucks parked in the road going off around to the back of the building that I am going to assume had been returned. It was like they just pulled in and parked there in the middle of the road so the didn't have to walk down?? I couldn't get up that way to my unit, instead I had to go in the front door which isn't a big deal it just took me a little bit longer so I think I was about two minutes late getting out.

My RV was vandalized (Catalytic converter stolen) will not ever recommend anyone to store a vehicle at this location. There was no notification sent out stating that nine U-Haul trucks were also vandalized in the same manner. U-Haul showed no concern and didn't even offer any compensation with this situation occurring on their property.

Love the place, hated that the ownership kept raising rent, especially on a renter that was there for over 5 years, always paid on time and was never a problem. I stuck it out during the pandemic when I was not working for almost a year because I stored my business materials (team building) there even though I never needed them and was making no income. Charge new people more when they rent, leave excellent renter rates alone. I would've stayed for a few more years as my business improved but the last 7 % raise was too much. So I'm gone. You lost an easy $1800 a year for a $120 a year raise.

The manager there is so unprofessional and should be fired. When I first came to Uhaul the manager at that time was helpful, friendly, and made my move in a good experience. When I left management changed and it was the most horrible experience I have had, the manager was rude, lazy and all around made Uhaul look bad. I have always looked at Uhaul as a class storage company but after dealing with her it gives the impression of The lowest class storage company. She spoke as if she was from the lowest educated part of Atlanta and treated me as if I was not important. Not only that but when I moved out she did not want to do her job and complete my move out which resulted in being charged the following month and I had to go through a lot just to prove I moved out to get my refund which I did and received my refund after a week. And yet again she fail to do her job once move and left me in her system again and they debit my account the following month as well when I called to have them refund my money and remove me from their system she spoke to me as if I was bothering her and even told me not to call there again as if she did not care I was over charged once again. I am stilling waiting on that refund as of today. I will never use your company again and have made it clear to all my social media followers that if they want good service any other company is better than yours. I know I have personally help 5 of my friends find other companies so they could move their belongings from Uhaul to a better company. I always have a lot of friends and business associates in the property management world who I have expressed my concerns with regarding your company and with your prices increasing and never being the better price in the first place they have also decided to discontinue referring clients to Uhaul. I hope this feedback helps make major changes to your company so that one day you can once again be seen as a class A storage facility.

We are moving from Lilburn to Marietta and used your facility to store small furniture, clothing and just "stuff." After 26 years in one home, we acquired a lot of "stuff." Your facility and staff made our move possible. The facility was clean, safe, and always available to us. The staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed to always be in a good mood. When I moved out, the trk I rented was available when I needed it and fit my needs perfectly. Zero negative about my experience w/ Uhaul.

I have used this location multiple times for storage as well as truck rental. Cassie, as well as everyone else in the office, was super helpful with answering questions and explaining procedures. The facility is well lit, clean, and conveniently accessed from the front and back of the building. I would highly recommend this location at 140 Rockbridge Rd NW, Lilburn, GA. My first experience with the manager Michelle was by phone before I arrived in Georgia. Michelle's pleasant and helpful demeanor provide for me, the comfort of knowing when I arrived -I would be dealing with a competent and reliable business person. When I arrived, Michelle was professional, helpful and very friendly -providing exceptional customer service. This was all while Covid-19 protective measures had been implemented for customer and staff protection. I applaud Michelle and Uhaul for taking this crisis seriously and for doing what they could to keep us all as safe as we can be. For all these reasons I gave the top rating. The service was excellent. The only issue I have is the wait time for issuing the access card. I was told sometimes it takes up to an hour before the access card is activated. Merci

They were patient with me and went over every step on what happens when I want to access the storage area. They made sure that the pass worked and that my lock was securely fastened to my area.

I have had the unit for over 4 years. Michelle is the greatest! I repeat the Greatest. We only gave it up because we finally have a house with storage areas and we delivered a truckload to Goodwill
