I had to come here because the truck was not where I had originally scheduled it. This store employee seemed bothered and mumbled some info, charged me more than was I was quoted on the site and the truck was dirty and loud.

Fix your app! It was VERY frustrating when trying to check in and I couldn't because the app would not let me put in and hold my birthdate. Checking in was delayed and I wasted 35 minutes waiting in line for help at the pick up location.

I moved my stuff out of this facility to a different storage company. I could not stand all the homeless drug addics hanging around coming in and out. Can't leave anything in the back of my truck while I go to my unit. Worried it might get stolen. Also they take up the isles with all their belongings fixing their bikes etc. also they take up the bathrooms for hours. Dragging in their luggage and doing whatever they do in their. They also leave trash all over the parking lot.

I only used it for 12 miles and it was 97 dollars the first payment and then when I delivered it they charged me 32 dollars I don't know why I delivered it with the correct gasoline the car as they gave it to me I took a video before grabbing the truck when I delivered it it has no damage

because there's thefts, I don't think that the actual customers should be punished for that. The "precaution" to use two phone numbers I think just drives customers like me away. I'd rather Uhaul invest in some airtag trackers rather than discriminating against people like me who are new to the area and may not be set up with a telephone yet.

Damage to door cause door to stick when closing.

The trailer was some what dirty towards the hitch area. It seems like one of the tires straps was worn out / cut off and I couldn't strap the left tire of the vehicle being towed. I had to improvise and use my own single strap. The lady was kind enough to give us a $10 discount. Other than that, customer support was excellent.

The only thing I ask is, if you reserve a refrigerator, dolly in advance, you should have it that day when you pick up your U-Haul truck. I had to go 2 1/2 miles out of my way to get one. They told me they don't reserve those. So why even ask when you reserve your truck?.

We choose to move or stuff to this facility after having issues at a different companies and it was a great choice. Was always clean and easy to access. My only wish is that there was some way other than stairs to get my heavy items to our second floor unit.

The truck was dirty all over. It looked like someone drove it through the mud dirty. When I picked it up I had to used the windshield wiper washer to clean the windshield so that I can see what was in front of me. I had to sweep the thick (1 inch) dirt just outside the doors and steps. The cargo smelled like the previous renter transported a truck full of marijuana. When I went back into the office, Mr Fabian said that there was nothing he can do and that he can help me. Find another truck in the next city if I wanted. All the other 3 clean trucks are not for local rent and return trucks. So he boy had the 1 that can be dropped off at a different city. If every truck gas will be charged for less than pickup then how come I picked up a quarter tank truck. Shouldn't it be full?

People that work there have no customer service skills. The truck they rented to me died at their location and when I ask them for help they ask me to call Roadside Assistance and Roadside ended up calling them because they are a corporate location and should be able to help me. The evening shift male with the long hair is not even helpful. He made me feel like I was a nuisance when I asked for help to get another truck.

To start the customer service was very poor the young man that helped me was extremely rude to me although I was as nice as I could be. I just wanted to get my rental and go not argue so I chose to be non confrontational. That's just the beginning then I didn't make it very far before having a blow out on the freeway so the tire must have been low when I left the U-Haul facility. Then I waited two hours for a roadside tire change most of that time was waiting for U-Haul to find someone to do the service. Do they not inspect the equipment in between rentals ? All in all a very unpleasant experience 0/10 I would not recommend this facility.

Your front counter employee should have a better attitude towards customers. I misunderstood a question he asked & he got pretty snappy because he had to repeat himself. He spoke in a very low voice & it was really hard to understand him. If I didn't need the U-Haul I would have walked out!

The only area for improvement is with the instructions for using the after hours return application and browser. Being "app-averse", I was told incouls scan the QR code posted at return location and not be required to install the app but use the web browser instead. However the sign i found on return under the QR code threatens you must use the app or pay an after hours fee. This made me uncomfortable and further when upon scanning the QR rather than a website it took me to the playstore to update or install the new app. I at that point called and rep took me to website and walked me thru an otherwise easy process. Please change the app push. or give the web option as part of signage.

Need cruise control on your vehicles would make long distance one-ways so much easier on the foot and leg trying to maintain the 55 mph pulling an auto transport. Just a suggestion.

Even though I was given access via my U-Haul entry card the alarm keeps going off when I enter the building.

The security with unauthorized homeless, street people,drug users became increasingly problematic over the three years I rented units. I could no longer feel safe as the buildings were isolated with no regular patrolling. I can to know that many other tenants had similar concerns and were leaving. There have been breaking, people sleeping overnight, bathroom doors propped open, people staying there for very long times so no one could use it, etc. The staff is friendly. helpful and good people. Unfortunately the situation is growing so I found another storage with better security!

I moved out of my office because I retired. I didn't have space in my house for my office furniture and supplies, so I rented a storage room at U-Haul. I also hired 2 movers to help me pack and move my office stuff. They were great. They unloaded everything and put it in my storage room. A really good moving experience.

Was overcharged accused of not making payment. Which i did.Management was very unprofessional accusing me of switching my key to padlock i bought from you. The key clearly said uhaul on it. Which led me to have to pay $145 dollars to a locksmith. I feel that I was treated very poorly by staff. I will never recommend to anyone to your business establishment. I have moved my stuff out and moved up the road to a cheaper more Friendly establishment where I'm treated with respect.

Following notice of a rate increase, I checked my 5x10 and 5x5 units to see what could be consolidated. I found that both of my units were almost empty. What remained fit in the 5x5 unit with space remaining. Apparently, someone had a master key to the cheap locks your company sells, and simply opened my locks and took an air fryer oven, drink blender, chopper, and water kettle. Perhaps, other things are missing. The owner of the franchise didn't really seem to care. Then, I recently got a notice about water damage. Thankfully, what was left was unharmed. If U-Haul doesn't care and the franchisee doesn't care, who cares?

I rented a small size storage unit because I don't have a lot of boxes to store and this was possible because I rented a 4x8 trailer in Chula Vista that I towed to Manteca. Everything went well upon arrival and check in because I was exhausted after the drive and towing for the first time. I would have possibly kept the storage unit longer, but I finally have a space to move my boxes into after a month. The storage unit was more convenient and better priced than storage units that I've had in Chula Vista, Philadelphia, Wilmington (DE) and Seattle. I may be back soon because I may have to relocate for another job soon. I'll rent a small trailer again now that I have a U-Haul installed trailer hitch on my car.

From day 1, nothing but issues.. Day 1, didn't show or tell me about card access, day 1 went to locked unit and had to go back to office and then wait 15 minutes for someone to unlock it. Set up autopay (I thought) but got charged $20 for paying late so I logged in and set up autopay but was charged AGAIN this month for paying late so I called and wasn't very happy or nice when telling them to set up autopay for me since nothing I did was fixing it.. Oh, when you sign up you HAVE to give a friends name/address and my late notices were being mailed to HER, not ME!! WTF? Will not use them again for storage....

I was assured of a certain storage size needed for my items, that size was not was not available so I had to forfeit some of my own personal items, rendering a $25 "cleaning" fee UHaul really needs to get their communication together between corporate and on sight personal. I was happy with the service attendant but when I unexpectedly found a large room to share I had to vacate the storage space in order to conserve with the payment of my living space. I expected to get the rest of the time I did not used at U-haul be refunded unfortunately I was surprised that you guys would make extra money from the space but not refund the money I didn't use. I was impressed with the staff kindness and support. This branch in huge, clean, organized, ...etc. they even helped me drop off the rental truck and trailer at their branch instead of driving extra hour for the final destination. Awesome people. After renting a U-Haul van, I asked the young lady inside if any small 5x5 storage units were available for rent. She indicated that there were not, and took my contact information to be put onto a waiting list. A day or two later, I went to the uhaul.com website on a whim and checked for 5x5 availability, and it seemed there were 5x5 units available the whole time, so I went ahead and rented one online. After hours access works fine, but there really should be a note posted adjacent to the door stating that, after the access code is entered, the renter has to pull *hard* to open the door. Other than that, getting in/out is very easy.

Loads of issues mix up and very poor customer service. A barrage overkill in late notices. It is illegal to send a late notice 24 hrs after a late notice. I have late notices waking me up 1am on email. Plus in the mail. Plus daughter gets pre lien notices telling all of my business after 5hings were resolved. I am taking this up with higher ranks. Terrible worst storage experience. U haul is usually awesome. Ivdeel harrassed which is illegal.
