Staff did nothing to acknowledge me or my returning the truck, did not ask to help me to close out my rental. Both got in their cars and drove away, away from me as to ignore a customer. I would have preferred to complete the return process in person, but instead dropped the key. I did call the 800# to ask what the best procedure would be, given the 2 employees who chose to ignore me as a customer. I know, from renting multiple times at this location, Sara Donson, the GM, does not treat customers this way. Sara Donson, GM is great, amazing, smiling, helpful and runs a great operation. We were running long on time towards the truck's return time. I called the 800#, and Tomlin was super helpful in changing our truck return time with no muss, no fuss-thank you. I will continue to use this location because of Sara, the overall great service, close facility to campus for my son's storage needs, availability of equipment, great rates, and storage unit options
JOSEPH POnly after, did I notice signs to the procedure to disarm the alarm for my storerooms. The alarms did work when I opened the doors! Other than that, great experience!

BRITTANY GI'm only unsatisfied with the fact I rented a unit that was 10×10 and instead I received two 5×10 beside each other. So I ordered a square shaped unit and got a rectangle that has a wall deviding it in half.

On 5/3/25 my pick up was not available and I was to pick up at 1631 N WHEELING AVE Muncie, IN on Sunday. I arrive Sunday morning at location and was told that it was not available, the employee said I can use another truck onsite so I requested the 10' truck. He said it was not available. I called the main office and they were able to locate a different truck. I lost over an hour for something I reserved many months ago.

JOHN SHow about when you reserve a 2 wheel dolly, nake sure it in the truck. Than when said customer calls answer the phone. Never got a call back after customer service said you would. So you had to drive back which cost you more mileage to get it. And than she was walking around and just said sorry.

The person who check me in was rude almost argumentative over a Customer just making simple conversation. The last time I rented a truck was in February ish of this year. From then to now a few things changed. I said oh things have changed...she had a rude reply. I shared I had an 800 number call me asking me to pick a truck up a Portland location to drop at a Muncie location... just talking... she was rude again. 'Well you could have saved a whole lot of Muncie'. This lady got up on the wrong side of the bed twice this morning is very clear. She should have called in! I've used Uhaul often the last 10 years. All experiences have been great.....until today! If I need to rent a truck in the future.... if I have this experience again... I will NEVER use Uhaul again! I will pay higher prices options to have a better customer service experience. This attitude from this check in lady was not needed or necessary or appreciated! My simple $100 bucks every year or so for a rental will not make a big difference in your business.... but i will share this with 100s of others!

NANCY MI had to change trucks when picking up my vehicle because the key would not turn the ignition switch on the first one. No biggy since you had another truck for me to take but you may wish to get that fixed. :) All else was good. Employees were all very polite and helpful!

MELISSA SWe requested an appliance dolly and there wasn't one available so we were given a regular dolly that was rusted and ended up separating at the bottom. We ordered blankets online and weren't given those, saying they weren't on the order but looking back saw them on our receipt.

MARK GI rented the one on MLK boulevard. When we got there I didn't know if anyone was there until I walked following the footsteps. The young lady seemed like she didn't want to be there. When we got the truck we were stuck in the Uhaul lot for a good 30 minutes because the truck door wouldn't open due to ice so we had to go back inside to ask for De-Icer. Then the young guy finally came out and gave us some De-Icer. I also used some of my De-Icer to help. The Uhaul young man act as if he didn't care and sprayed and walked away ( rediculious). So we lost time by staying in Uhaul parking lot Not to mention my friend fell on Uhaul parking lot because the staff failed to put salt down. We bought the truck back 30 minutes early and I was informed by the staff full price and no discount ( even though we were stuck in Uhaul parking lot for 30 minutes.
JEREMY BMake sure the vehicle is in good running condition if warning lights are on rather than just saying there are electrical issues with the lights staying on in many of the trucks they have but the truck is ok to drive as long as it feels ok. Don't rent a truck if any warning lights are on.

BRANDON MI use my code to enter but saw numerous people walk in the automated outdoors and then have full access to the whole facility. I tried it once too. I just walked up to the the automated out doors and entered. Then opened my unit, heard the alarm but nothing else happened. No follow through and flawed security. I witnessed guys with junk trucks just use the same method and snoop around. Not to mention one of the indoor loading bays is always occupied by a trailer somebody is doing maintenance on. Didn't know we could park our vehicles there and do maintenance for weeks.

DAVID BI originally ordered from a 3811 Auto in my County. I was told I would receive a call the next day. Never heard anything until the sunday before the monday pickup. That cost me about $50 in mileage as I could have returned close to my house. While I was happy to have a truck it did feel like I slammed into a bad option for me at the last minute. The truck was used tyo pick up girl scout cookies for my daughters troop and every dollar counts. Muncie was great! However, not sure I should have been forced to eat $50 at the last minute when a truck could have been delivered to that site.

After a solid week of moving, 4 days in extreme 100° heat, I was mentally & physically exhausted, severely stressed, and he did everything he could to accommodate us and make it easier to get to my climate-controlled storage (he gave me the closest unit possible) and he arranged for me to return my truck here instead of a location 40 minutes away. U-Haul is who you want to go with whether moving locally or one-way. Most other companies charge you a $500+ drop fee for not returning your truck or trailer to same location. U-Haul does not. For a 26' truck, 18 moving pads, and an appliance hand truck (dolly), I paid $342.80. I will ALWAYS use U-Haul for all of my DIY moves. Thanks U-Haul and thanks to Devin, Geneva, Shelby, and the others who assisted my family.

I let the office know of the issue. The ceiling tiles above the unit had collapsed and come down right above my daughters unit and were yellowed and water stained. Thought you should know. other than this issue all else was fine and the Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We went in at 8am to rent the truck. She was struggling so much I had to come back at 10am They wasn't helpful to work the doors or to explain them. They moved me out before my things was even moved out. So I had to set off the alarm.

The floor plan could be better makes on each aisle, but there are huge maps around to help you figure out where you are going. I would have preferred 24 hour access, but that is an additional fee. When I rented the unit, the young man getting it all set up did not communicate well that they do not have actual 10x20 units. So, I did not ever got the memo that they gave me two units. When I went to clear it all up, my message did not make it to the manager to get handled the first day and the second day that I called the person that answered the phone was rather rude. I have almost always had great interactions with the staff at this facility. However, after yesterday morning, I won't go back.

Charging a $15 late fee one day after the due date and then a second $15 late fee 12 or 13 days later along with being sent a threatening email that there would be a $50 lien placed on the unit and the items sold to cover cost in my opinion is a bit harsh and for that reason I removed my items and closed out my unit and went to a different facility and will NOT recommend uhaul to anyone ever

I phoned a few times to your hub which is selected by my internet connection, and each time I received a recording then my waiting time was 1 hour. If you had a computer programmer ("System Analyst") not an IT person designing this for you, you would have many many more customers. Where I work for 42 years, we did everything possible to answer the phones. If you don't answer the phone you're insulting the potential and present customers. I hope somebody tells the owners about this system.

I have driven uhal several times and know the gas gage tends to be a bit wonky. So I drove about a block and a half and the gas guard was buried on E… so they got it returned with alot more fuel then I left the lot with. We also used the self storage facility. Was east and super clean. Although an alarm (really high pitched) goes off literally every time you walk through..

We found one real close to the back door but that was out of the range we could be transferred to. Not a huge problem for us but it would have been more convenient for Mom although we don't think she will access without us.
