FRANK GThis location is our favorite. On this particular time, the service was not at all like the norm. I had a reservation and it took me an hour to get serviced at the counter. There was 3 employees at the counter and only one was helping customers in the store. There were 2 customers in front of me, yet I didn't think waiting an hour was necessary. The one individual who was helping customers, mentioned that she really didn't care how long we had to wait to be serviced because she was there all day. I didn't find that comment to be one I wanted to hear after waiting an hour, much less watching 2 other employees that could of helped out. Once I was helped at the counter, I then had to find someone to help me outside as well.
BRENDA GI hated how they would harass my family if I was late on payments. I put down emergency contacts if I can't be reached, not to be sent letters claiming they're responsible for paying the storage without ever contacting me to begin with. And when I complain about it Christina claims that's part of the contract as if a 3rd party can make someone financially responsible for something, which the district managers were very clear it was NOT.

JACQUES NSafety of the customer should be your number one concern. I'm not sure if anyone from Uhaul completed a pre/post check of this vehicle to determine road worthiness/safety of the vehicle. I will take a guess that after this vehicle was dropped off, it was probably quickly rented to someone else for another cross country trip.

MARVIN CI use this location regularly and the pick up and return process is always smooth and the staff friendly. Even though this is not the closest location to my house I always go here because they have the largest selection of equipment in the area and you can count on them being open when they say they will be.

CATERINA S | Expérience généraleI used the UHaul UBoxes because my brother died and I had to move some of his things from Lebanon Ohio to Houston Texas. The set up with the boxes and fees was a little confusing, but they were delivered to his house in Lebanon on time and just fine... but then there was a delay in the pick up of One of the boxes... and then the boxes were supposed to move to Texas together, but only one box actually made it. It took half a week to figure out the second box never left Ohio... then it took over another week for it to actually get here and I UHaul kept trying to charge me the FULL shipping price for it, when it was UHaul's fault they didn't make it onto the same truck. Then the boxes were supposed to be delivered to my house on April 4th or 5th... but because they didn't know where a box was they didn't show up until April 13. Then that's where the extra fees start coming in... you think everything is paid for but no there's a fee to drop them off... and because they accidentally sent the lost box to a separate local location, there was a fee for each box to be delivered to me... and you can't pick a delivery time that makes since for you... even though you are paying for it, you just get what day and 5 hour window they give you.. but then they even missed the window and were over 30 minutes late for that. They took a situation that was very difficult and painful for me and made it even more difficult.. and I spent a lot more money then I had anticipated. I hope I never have to work with UHaul again.

JEFFREY MMy experience with this company was a tale of two locations, with one significantly outshining the other. My initial interaction at the Spring Cypress location was exceptionally positive. The staff created a truly welcoming atmosphere, and they were genuinely eager to assist me. In particular, Sarah demonstrated outstanding professionalism and patience as I had several questions regarding pricing, the designated return location, and the appropriate trailer size for my needs. She thoughtfully addressed each of my inquiries, ensuring I felt confident and well-informed before making a decision. Unfortunately, the return experience at the Pflugerville location stood in stark contrast. Upon returning the trailer, I was explicitly told by an employee that I did not require a receipt and that I was "good to go." However, after several days passed without receiving the expected email confirmation of the trailer's return, I became concerned. My attempts to contact the Pflugerville location directly via phone proved unsuccessful, as my calls went unanswered. Seeking resolution, I reached out to the Spring Cypress location, hoping they could shed some light on the status of my rental. To my surprise and disappointment, they informed me that the trailer had not yet been processed as returned in their system, despite being physically returned two days prior. Demonstrating exceptional customer service, the Spring Cypress team then tried to contact the Pflugerville location on my behalf, but they too were unable to get through. Ultimately, the Spring Cypress location took the initiative to manually process the return on their end, resolving the issue entirely. While my initial interaction with the Spring Cypress location, particularly Sarah's assistance, was exemplary and deserving of high praise, the lack of professionalism and communication at the Pflugerville return location caused significant concern and inconvenience. The proactive and helpful intervention of the Spring Cypress team ultimately saved the day, highlighting their commitment to customer satisfaction and their willingness to go above and beyond to rectify the shortcomings of another location.

DANE HThis location saved my day! I had another reservation at another location and they were not available! My original pick up location was at 22011 Mossy oaks, reservation #29387708. I ubered to this location and was left standing in the rain with my son bc the business was already closed, after finally reaching someone in the phone, he informed me they closed at 2 and I would not be able to pick up my 4 o'clock reservation and hung up on me, after I had already spoke with someone at 2:45 to confirm availability. In a panic, I immediately called U-Haul, walked to a covered area to get out of the rain, spoke with Ariel at this location who assured me she could help. We then Uber we thre and she had a U-Haul waiting for us. I was very upset at how unprofessional and rude at the other location and she really fixed things. Five stars for them, the Mossy Oaks location should take notes .

We waited outside to get keys but no one came . Then lady came out with a different paper stating she had to switch the truck because she couldnt find keys . Alfredo C | Premières impressionsMy issue with the access hours to the storage unit was that the large sliding door quit working when the U-Haul office closed for the day. Having to use the regular size door with large furniture was challenging. My main issue was that I had only been in the storage unit 2 months and then and I receive a rate hike for the unit. I was not told that there may be a rate hike when getting the storage unit. This same thing happened to my daughter at a different company storage unit. I feel this is a typical way to increase the rate because you have your items in the unit and the storage company feels that you will accept the rate hike so you don't have to move your items. I only needed the storage unit for a short period of time or I would have looked for another storage unit.

The two password key pads is inconvenient and annoying- a card would be better. Other storage units that we've used let you check out just by removing the lock from your door. Also, in parking lot where the only ramp is, needs to have a blocked parking space so ppl don't park there and blocked everyone else's ability to use the ramp. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. I would use them again.

Why would I want a storage room I had to carry boxes up a flight of stairs to access? They never mentioned that little detail, so I had to cancel that location and find another. THEN, the office failed to cancel that contract, went ahead and charged me for the room, and tried to bill me again the following month. I would - at the very least - avoid the Spring Cypress location. It's all been resolved, but that is not customer-centric service to me.

They waived my late fees for me multiple times when I talked to the manager as long as I wasn't too many days late I would call the first or second day at the least ahead of time to let them know and the worked with me. On my last day I called them and told them I was going to be moving out of the unit and I didn't have to pay a dime to get my stuff out on the day my payment was due they just told me to have the unit cleared before the office closed at 8pm. Overall a good storage facility with friendly employees!

Bringing this up with the local managers was met with mocking and derision while higher management I reached out to in the company refused to even respond.

My personal effects were kept safe and secure, which is also extremely important. The only complaint would be the darkness inside the storage unit itself - no light bulb! And the unit was upstairs, which made it more difficult and strenuous to move things around. Also, we came back on our third trip shortly after 8pm and couldn't get inside the storage building because it was locked. Wasted trip! But I was overall satisfied with the service I received at uHaul!

The next day I checked with Uhaul front desk person stated that an employee mistakenly removed the WRONG lock. I was NEVER notified that my lock had been removed & replaced with another lock. My account was always paid timely in advance. I had to wait in line for another front desk employee who was supposedly "in charge" to provide me with the new keys so I could access my storage. Access was received that day. I decided a week later to remove ALL my items. Anyone paying correctly for service should receive excellent service.

I asked the UHaul rep at the front desk and she inquired and found that the lock had been replaced. I was never notified of this change so I was nervous that items might be missing. As it turns out, no items were missing. But had I gone to my unit at a tome when the front desk personnel had not been at work, I would not have been able to access my unit. They gave me no explanation as to why the UHaul lock I had purchased and placed on my unit had been replaced by another Uhaul lock. Bad fail for customer service.

What made the experience poor was at checkout when i asked the young lady for printed receipts. She told me i had to go online for that. Since i dont have a printer i asked two more times if there was anyway possible for her to print them. She finally gave in when another employee stood behind her listening to me beg for receipts. I know printing a customers receipts should not have been difficult and truly believe she just wanted to give me a hard time for no reason at all. When leaving i noticed she only printed 4 out of 7 charges. So i called the facility and was told they would reprint them for me. When i returned to the office she was outside waiting for me & handed them to me in the parking lot. I assume she had been reprimanded for the poor customer service and was trying to make up for it. Anyway, it never should have happened. She should have been willing from the get go to help the customer. I hope she learned a lesson.

Additionally, the computer seemed to be causing some issues. The process to get me into the computer took a while. About a month later, I received a call asking if I had moved out of one of my storage units. I explained that I only rented one unit and didn't know what the reference to a second unit was about. The person who I spoke with on the phone stated I must have accidentally been put in two units and stated they would take care of it. I then received an email reminding me about payment for the second unit. I called again and was told I would be removed from the second unit. I hope I have been removed from the second unit.

All the females were rude EXCEPT Christina . The guy that works there that's ex military has better customer service than most of you . LaQuinta gave me the wrong unit and never moved me nor apologized . I had to use a friends storage for the rest of my stuff . I told her I had a 2/2 apartment and she gave me a small unit for a one bedroom or a studio.. Ridiculous. Upon moving out , it was like pulling teeth to have someone open the door to the storage . My movers and I had to wait until it was convenient for "Ms. Thing" to finally come unlock the door. When she got there she was rude, over talked me and insulted my intelligence... I bc have zero tolerance for all of this . I don't care that she is the young one out the group. She needs to learn how to respect her elders before someone teaches her off the premises without cameras . She can and will disrespect the wrong person one day and WILL have to reap the consequences. So glad I don't need storage again and if I ever do , it surely won't be with Uhaul at ANY location . Your people ruined it for me .
