Clifton SOverall, I felt like the employees were not too excited to have customers. Upon receiving the trailer, the check out went quickly, but I felt like I was ruining their day. When returning I had to wait a while to get help to check out. There was no one in the store to assist me and I had to go find someone. I was also not helped in order. I had parked in the return line, another uhaul customer came and drove to the back and was helped before me. Overall, I just didn't feel valued as a customer.

PATRICIA TI had a horrible experience. The first reservation I made was cancelled. Then I get that resolved to pick up at another location. Then I get there to pick it up and find out the one I was picking up was dropped off at a different store. So I had to go clear across town to get it. I think that the store I was at should have went and gotten it for me and brought it back. I didn't get a discount or anything for this mess up.

TODD CWhen I had first booked the reservation, I was quoted around $35 for the reservation. By the time we returned the truck early, we were charged an additional $80 something that we were not told or given an itemized receipt/reason for the charges. Most likely will not be renting from UHaul again.
EMMA HThe mirrors on the truck NEED TO BE REPLACED. I fixed them at lease 5 times because they wouldnt stay in place when driving. Very unsafe when that is the only way to see beside or behind you when your in a big truck.

Robert WI had a notification that I could use the 24/7 system. When I went before my 7 am pickup, I was trying to load all my information on the app and it would not really go through fast enough. Then I went to click on call or speak to a rep cause I needed to start going on my pick up and I was never able o speak with anyone on the phone. I then proceeded to just go inside the Uhaul store and there was a super long line with only one employee. I was on a really tight deadline and this impeded with our planned day. I think the app or the process to get a truck online is slightly flawed. The employee did have great customer service though and was very helpful once I was next in line. He did the best he could as he had plenty of people to serve. Truck was in great condition and was everything we needed.

Also the cashier who checked my driver's license just threw it across the counter afterwards. Not all the blankets were there that were ordered.

JERRY SWe don't think you can do anything to improve, because this location is already extraordinarily run! Oreanha Rodgriquez is by far the best U-Haul Manager we have encountered during our several moves. Nothing was too difficult for her to accommodate our needs. She was attentive, helpful, patient, and friendly. We could easily tell she likes her job and enjoys helping people. U-Haul is very fortunate to have Oreanha as an employee. By far, the finest customer service team at this U-Haul Shadow Mountain location! THANK YOU, Oreanha, and to your great U-Haul team!

JEFFREY RWe got called to change the location of our drop off location and they wanted us to travel 20-30 minutes out of the way and when we finally looked at the location, it was much farther than she said. We also were never told specific instructions about returning the U-haul with gas, etc. It was not a great experience.

MAYLONNAI HThe self check-out process on the app doesn't work. First step to verify the location could t detect I was there, and also scanning the location barcode failed too. Ended up just going inside. Glad they were still open.
CHRISTOPHER OI arrived after the location was closed. I was beginning the task of figuring out the return after hours procedure when I was approached by Jen, an (off duty?) employee who saw that I was a woman, alone, attempting to return the trailer myself. She said she saw me and realized I might have trouble getting the trailer off of my hitch by myself, so she came to help me. I was SO IMPRESSED with her because she could've just drove off and let me struggle with it, but decided to be a GREAT human being instead. WOW! Great employee!! Thank you Jen (works in storage at 16226 N. 32nd St. location.

THOMAS VReserved a 10' with 2 packs of pads and a hand truck. Location didn't have the pads or hand truck and sent me to another location up the road. Not the biggest deal for me but was lucky that I had time to do it. He gave me an extra 30 miles for the inconvenience, which was appreciated but would rather of had a different option as I didn't need or use the extra mileage. Add in the extra 1/4 tank of gas I left you guys and Uhaul wins again.

TODD DThe truck was blocked in when I came to pick it up and had to grab an employee to move a van out of the way so I could pull out which defeats the point of mobile pick up. At drop off there was a propane truck in one driveway and 5 trucks and trailers occupying the drop off lanes. Seems like you would have known how much equipment was being returned that night and more of an effort should have been made to clear spots in the parking lot to drop the trucks in for mobile dropoff users.

DANIEL LI want to leave a 5 star review because although there were hiccups along the way with my U-Haul experience, the representatives I worked with (Frank in corporate, Shadow Mountain associate, San Miguel associate) were great. They were very communicative with every step and offered solutions. Frank was extremely helpful resolving the delays and issues with the rental. The San Miguel associate was wonderful and has amazing customer service skills (he is representing this company in a tremendous positive light). Then towards the end, the drop off location associate went out of her way to check with management and try to squeeze my 26' rental truck in their lot and it was a success. Every issue, every concern was addressed by these associates and they are the reason I will continue as a lifelong customer to U-Haul.
