I drove 11 miles. Received charge for 4 gallons of gas. According to them I took the truck out at 11/16 full and brought it back at 9/16 full. That means the truck holds 64 gallons of gas and gets 2,75 miles PER GALLON of gas. Nonsense. Just ridiculous even to consider that I have been billed correctly. Contacted by the store and that's their story and they are sticking with it. Still nonsense and ridiculous as part of any real discussion about why I was charged for four gallons of gas. Nice people, efficient location. Absurd logic around billing me....

The guy who would have helped hook up the trailer had suddenly called out, but our customer service rep jumped in, and we watched some videos and learned the process together quickly. It was also raining, so it was an adventure. Good customer service!

Didn't visit unit at all-booked for my daughter-poorest of any customer service imaginable. Experience in dealing with staff here was very poor, unprofessional, deeply unpleasant. Wouldn't recommend this facility based on employees service not even 1 percent. Had to answer questions despite not having any idea of location in order to submit this review!!!!

Well you can start by cleaning the windows and mirrors before the trucks leave the velocities to make it safer for the driver getting on the road. Before loading my stuff I had to wash the glass inside and out so I could see backing in the driveway.

Manager made extending a headache and very argumentative..locked keys in truck on the last day spent all morning trying to get in paidnfor protection yet it didn't cover lockouts wtf it said lockouts covered had to.call regional and corporate becuz they took our uhaul when we were teyng to extend since being locked out all morning would love to see the manager fired cause she's not a good image for the place

This location was the second location but the 2nd confirmation I had for that day after a walk in request . The staff at the Summer Ave. location was AMAZING! Aretha and her ladies at the counter did all they could to help me with the troubles for the day. I had been to a previous location where I was immediately told they had nothing for me, before they even knew what I needed or why I was there. Then I reserved a truck over the phone and it happened to be at that location (7399 Hwy 64). When they saw it was me, they said they did not have a truck even though 5 were sitting out front at the time. I called to make another reservation and they put me at the Summer Avenue location. When I arrived they did not have a truck available either due to the previous customer had not returned it yet. Ms. Aretha and I spoke and she quickly began giving options for me to get a truck. We compromised for a smaller truck and were helped with genuine kindness. It only took us about 2 1/2 hours to use the truck and we returned the truck easily. If it were not for this location and staff, I believe I would have never used U-Haul again. I am still waiting to hear from the scheduling office of the 7399 HWY 64 location. There is a 50 guarantee and after 3 attempts, I still did not get what I reserved at the 1st location nor did that location even attempt to help me.

I actually rented from the Germantown, TN location, but when I went to confirm, they said I would need to pick it up at the Summer Ave location in Memphis. Worked out ok, but it was a long drive to Summer ave.

Picking up the truck was a breeze and the associate was friendly and efficient. When I returned the truck that evening two black women set inside the store after I had asked for assistance for over 20mins. I was told there was a guy outside and he was the only one that could checkin the truck so that I could change my payment method. He was already helping 3 other customers and even when he called over the radio for one of them to come and assist they both continued sitting occupied on their personal cell phones. The two ladies out right refused to get up off their butts to help or do their jobs.

Rented furniture blankets were bundled nicely; however, when we opened them, they were damp and smelled like cigarette smoke which filled the entire truck and our belongings.

Have a back up way to check in and approve vehicle. Cell phone service in the area is bad and the trucks are too far away from the building to get a good wifi signal. Having a non electric back up method to check in and get vehicle would be nice. Otherwise, staff was nice, helpful, and friendly.

U haul ripped me off so badly. I payed over 400 dollars to rent a truck for 6 days, the amount of driving i did in said truck was MINIMAL-no more than 200 and thats pushing it. I get the reciept emailed to me the day after i returned the truck and yall are claiming i drove 600 MILES. SIX HUNDRED. And now im being charged an additional 461 dollars!!!!! And theyre saying theres nothing to be done they didnt inform me that i needed to take pictures of the odometer, etc. This is absolutely insane and fucked up. Never again. Theres no reason it should cost me or anyone almost 900 dollars to rent a uhaul for 6 days when i only drove when it was absolutely necessary and i never traveled more than maybe 15 miles away from my home. Ludicrous.

I know it was cold outside when I returned the trailer. You would think the person receiving the trailer would be in a hurry to get OUT of the cold. He walked so slowly it was pathetic. He was polite, just very slow walking. The lady at the inside counter was very helpful & effecient!

Made a reservation at a location I have used before. The location was changed by your system and at the time I requested, 5:00 pm on Sunday, 01/19/2025. I showed up and the place was closed. I drove to the Summer Ave location in Memphis while speaking to 3 different of your customer service people. The people at Summer Ave just said they were closing and wouldn't help. The third person reset the reservation for the next morning at the Austin Peavy location, although I needed to pick up the transporter Sunday night (early departure). They claimed I had been called to come in by 4:30 pm to pick up the transporter, but I found out on Monday they had put in an incorrect digit and I didn't receive any calls or texts. Monday I went to Austin Peavy at 07:00 am just to be sent to Summer Ave. I did get the transporter, but the yard crew person was slow and had to try to use 2 trucks to move a transporter out of the way to get to mine. It has always been a real mess dealing with the Summer Ave locations. Not friendly and a careless attitude towards customers. This event was a really bad experience. However, at Greenbrier, the two gentlemen were eager to hjelp and did an outstanding job. I guess my bad experience is just a Memphis Tn issue.

The rear two tires on the car hauling trailer were low of air by almost half one was at 26 pounds and one was at 23 pounds. I assume the company would've checked these ahead of time I did not notice until I stopped for fuel and seen them smoking. I had to call for a tow truck to put air in them.. I was informed that The Summer St storage facility had 10x20 units available, upon arrival there wasn't any available, @ which time I decided on a free smaller unit I fell and injured myself, and later informed that I couldn't make a report and offered to settle my claim by.removing my belongings from storage unit within 24 hours very mean and unprofessional staff hopefully I will never encounter U-haul again or recommend very disappointed about my entire moving experience, thank God it's over however, my arm is still in much pain. Thanks for your efforts, however I was not impressed at the same time. Is there anyone who could reach out to me in reference to my injured elbow from mine avoidable accident at the summer facility for which I was offered no condolence

I would like to recognize the two young ladies working on my arrival for pickup of my rental equipment and storage from the U-Haul facility on Summer Avenue. Although I do not know their names I will describe one as younger and short young lady working the desk and another the lot, nicknamed Snoop. I just want give them their props, they handled my needs well and took care of the customers who were waiting in line.

Our confirmation, receipt no. 242124, for the Austin Peay location was not honored. This was very frustrating with movers about to deliver and no place to store . The Summer location was located through your reservations as I'm driving to find somewhere quickly.

Was a really nice space, COOLand clean, which was what I wanted. Staff were helpful. The only complaint I have is the garage doors only worked one time, and the card readers are really hard to use and VERY confusing (have to swipe twice and often didn't work). Check-out was easy. Thank you!

Staff was great and efficient when my unit wasn't available in the system the young lady immediately spoke with her manager and they were able to get the storage unit for me and once I unloaded my items into the storage unit then I was able to turn in the Uhaul my move was effortless and convenient. No complaints except upon move out saw roaches/roach eggs on my belongings.. for $140 a month you'd think pest control would be taken care of. Had my stuff stored here while I was waiting on my house to be ready for move in, and now after moving in all of my belongings to my home and out of the unit, I have had to call an exterminator to ensure that my house does not become infested with roaches. Other than that, I have no complaints, staff is nice, facility is secure and otherwise clean.

Being a former Uhaul emplyee for plus 5years. I know with just a handful of folks working it's diffilcult to keep work space kept & clean but not impossibile with the right team. I was impressed with my intire experience at the Bartlett Uhaul. From the Store mngr & team keep up the great work!

Would be nice to have 24 h access instead of until 10 pm and also a little be more friendly smiles form the staff. Luckily for us, our storage room was on the ground floor; have no idea how people might deal with loading/unloading heavy furniture to/from second floor storages as there is no elevator in the building. Very narrow corridors, which makes it uneasy to maneuver with long items. Other than that, nothing much to complaint about. Average storage facility, air-conditioned but could be a little better. Also, making customers obligated to buy U-Haul's lock and not allowing to use their own is absolutely ridiculous practice.

Most of the workers at this location are rude it's incredibly unbelievable there are very few that actually have customer service skills I couldn't wait to move out so I wouldn't have to deal with any of them ever again. The night I moved out a white lady working cause I don't have names said it would be $20 to unhook and hook my carrier back up to the truck, I thought it was ridiculous but whatever I'll pay it. I sent my son in to pay and the black that was working told her not to do it and from my understanding from another customer he felt like she was talking nasty to him so he came out to help us. I'm just glad it's over! You guys charged a whole month and I was only there less than a week this pay month, then no one ever called me for a location to pick up my reservation so I had to find a location in another state at the last minute and drive 3 hours y'all are the worse.

I have been using U-Haul storage since 2004 and in Feb 2021 I was able to get rid of one of the 2 rooms that I had. It was a sense of relief. I have had bad service many times when I had to interact with the front office staff. The day before yesterday, May 1st, 2021, I had to go to the office because your computer system was down. This is unacceptable. I was unable to pay my rent online. I had to drive 9 miles one-way because I did not want to be late with my rent. You should hire better IT personnel and if it was due to power failure, you should have a Diesel generator.

I stored half of my household in room 1713 for 15 1/2 years and finally on February 2nd, 2021 I consolidated all my possessions into room 1705. Over the years, I have noticed that the quality of service of this facility has gone down. It seems that when I ask for something, they are doing me a favor. It took a month for the office to acknowledge that I had emptied room 1713 which I communicated with the attendant at the front office immediately after I cleaned the room. They even sent me an email asking me for payment of rent of the unit after 3 weeks that I have emptied it and released it. Customer Service needs a serious revamp at this location.

The girl who helped me was very easily flustered and distracted and kept putting other customers in front of me that had been there less time than me. It took an hour from the time I got there to when I was finally able to unload my moving pod in to the storage space.

The constant calls and poor consideration during a time when our country was in crisis. Even after I was told my personal items were auctioned off, you continued your calls. I felt the young lady who was to finalized my storage locker closure did not take my concerns to heart. I raised two or three concerns that I felt she could have handled, but she chose not to assist! I was able to later go online and finally find the answers to my concerns and took care of them there. She absolutely did not want to do any extra work, but she did hurry back to her phone call!

The staff could not explain policies effectively. I reserved a 10x15 unit before hand and the staff said that they could not rent the last kind of unit, so they may not be able to give me the 10x15 that I reserved??? The manager did not help at all while the store clerk/cashier attempted to simultaneously check out three customer's orders. The cashier also said that workers would show us where my unit was, and help us unload. The workers did neither. The manager refused to check out my truck rental that I needed to drop off, and kept calling on the radio for someone else to do it. No one did until AFTER closing time.

Excellent truck and tow dolly. The tire strap came loose from the drivers tire while in transit. I checked the tightness of the straps each time I stopped. If I had to do over I would rent the hauler.

Staff in all areas (each and every employee) was very friendly and helpful. Excellent!!!!!!!!

The building was very well that employees were very nice but they had my mover had to walk up the stairs to get my stuff and walk down and it would be nice if you all put some sort of a Lyft or elevat
