Cory at U-Haul of Champaign was professional, and very friendly., He did an outstanding job of catering to my wants and needs. The trailer was exactly what I needed and only 14 to rent for the day. had tie down straps and ball hitch bar and locking pin which i also needed for my van. the trip was very successful picking up my 2016 Honda Fury motorcycle that I bought and brought it back to Champaign. U-Haul served me very well, as I needed a trailer and didnt have any way to go pick up my bike ... Very pleased with the whole process: easy clear and very affordable renting plan.. VAN TThere seem to be a glitch in the computer system however. I had a great checkout with the truck. I agreed after being asked by your company to tow a 8-ft cargo trailer to Fishers, Indiana for reimbursement of $100. When I got to the Philo road location they were confused and thought I was renting a trailer even with all my reservation numbers. There was a delay of about 40 minutes before I could leave to get to Indiana. Drop off location in Fishers for the trailer. The gentleman at the desk asked me if I could untatch it and I've never done that before. The manager quickly intervened and said he would take care of it and see to it that I received an email for my reimbursement. I have yet to see the reimbursement after three business days.

PAUL MOne of the tires on the trailer was in the process of delaminating, which resulted in our having a flat on Interstate 90 late at night. Once the tire was replaced, our fuel economy improved 25 %. The tire problem cost us $70 in fuel, time, and of course it was very stressful. I believe this could have been avoided by giving the trailer a thorough review before renting it.

I made a reservation months ago, and when I arrived they said my unit was given to another customer and there was nothing they could do. They gave me a larger, more expensive unit with a month "free" , but informed me I'd then pay double price for the new unit. They should have honored my reservation and charged me exactly what I was quoted. For this reason I rated them below average. There was no attempt to rectify, rather blamed corporate for the error. We will not rent again there or recommend it to other's.

I show up and all of the storage units that was the size I reserved was occupied. I had to get the next size, double the price of what I originally needed and what was confirmed with the call. I'm disappointed with the lack of coordination and notification despite calling and confirming the reservation.

BRENDA NI was asked to estimate my mileage which was 25. I took a picture of the beginning mileage and the ending mileage. I drove 11 miles. When I returned the truck, the women said she would check gas and miles. She either didn't check miles or cants count. Other issue was told 3/4 tank of gas. When I got into truck it was clearly under 3/4's

I've rented almost 200 times in the last three years from Uhaul Raymond Andrew Eissfeldt 217-377-8064 came in to rent a vehicle on Sunday and I was told that "Corporate would not rent to me" I have to say that your lines are recorded. People could listen to the phone calls. I'm going to actually be calling Corporate tomorrow I used to live in Arizona and know the Uhaul organization well .

JEREMY JWe're picking up gas gauge was at half tank when dropping off gas was at half a tank but they said it was slightly off half a tank and charged $7,12 for what would have amounted to maybe a gallon of gas. Had believe that rental price at time of rental included mileage but was surprised to find that mileage was added when dropping off. Not a big deal necessarily but would have been nice to know that this was going to be a cost that was incurred

I just have a baby and have been out of state and could not be physically there to move my items in such short notice. This is totally unacceptable and unreal!!!!!!! The manager, Victor, on the other hand, was super helpful to make my move to another nearby U-Haul storage in Urbana smooth coordinating with Jessica the GM there, although I do not know yet if the move has happened and have not received any information on that regard.

They didn't have the truck I'd reserved so I had to get a smaller one. Finally went out to get it, and it was blocked in by a trailer. Finally got THAT moved and the truck was almost on dead empty for gas. Couldn't even make it to my destination (in town) without filling up. Then return was a nightmare as well. Nowhere to park the truck and no one would answer the phone. I ended up leaving it parked on the side street because it was such a mess in their lot.

Mattress is completely useless and headboard might be used with stains. Staff was alert and helpful at checkout but any promised follow up phone calls have not been received.
