The staff at the downtown U-Haul are the best! I had made a mistake and reserved the wrong trailer. The manager(sorry, don't know her name) remedied the situation instantly.

We did not get the furniture dolly in the Uhaul we rented. I called and mentioned it 1 hour after pick up. She told me it would be removed. When we returned it, the dolly charge was not removed. I emailed them about this, and haven't received a response. I would recommend making sure items are addressed correctly the first time. Merci.

My reservation was set for drop off in bemidji, somehow it got switched to the Fargo main location. The ladies that work at this location were extremely rude to me regarding this mix up saying no you didn't when I know I did. Then instead of helping me come up with a solution or helping me fix it they took my deposit and charged me an extra $300. I'm a single non working mom on a set fixed income. Now I have no money to buy diapers or anything else for my 2 babies. I will never use uhaul again.

At rental, I was told that the vehicle was completely full of gasoline. It was not, being closer to 3/4 full of gas than completely full. I was not told of any compensation for this discrepancy. I did return the vehicle completely full, save for the less than 10 miles driven from the gas station to the drop off point. The vehicle also had not been driven in over a week, due to the dirt accumulation from dried rainfall on the dust of the outside of the window. This made it difficult to see in the oncoming sunshine.

Hire more people. The drop off sign said to wait for an attendant. No one responded so I went into the store. One person can't cover both the store and the lot.

I would like to thank the team at U-Haul for being so efficient. It took me maybe 15 min to get checked in and hooked up to my trailer. When I returned the trailer it was about 5 min. The team came out and checked the trailer out for damage and I was gone. Quick and painless. Thank you again!

I was over charged due to the level of the gas tank but I returned it above 3/4 which is where I got it. I had to take pictures as proof when I got the truck but apparently that doesn't matter

The low fuel light lit up after driving a block. That put me behind schedule and put me in a tough spot to try to operate and return the truck at a low fuel level. Returned it half full with no compensation.

Reserved trailer for grand forks. Had to go to Fargo to get the trailer. Rep there said I had to waive my insurance rights because I was hooking up to the truck I was hauling trailer with. Not overly helpful.

The guy running the store didn't have access to the change drawer so I had to use my card for a 15$ transaction and because I had to use my card you guys scammed me out of 44$ because there needs to be a minimum of 60$ to use a card so the guy tacked on a bs deposit charge and said that I would get refunded same day well it's been over a week and I still haven't gotten my money back so thanks for robbing me uhaul I'll never go back

I was given a uhaul that was not recently checked on miles and gas and I was over charged for there mistake.

Rented a Uhaul 15' truck, went to put fuel in it and ended up dumping 3/4 tank of fuel on the ground due to some sort of fuel tank issue with the truck. Brought the truck back and was upgraded to a bigger truck, which worked out perfectly. Frustrated the first truck had issues and caused a significant loss of fuel. Unfortunately the gentleman working was unable to assist with credit for the fuel, though he was trying everything he could to resolve our situation. Likely would not rent a Uhaul truck at this location.

For several years there was a struggle when our drivers would be picking up the truck for non profits needs. More times than not, it seemed, an issue of the driver not being the person placing the order, and our organization's payment on file could not be accepted. So usually a phone call needed to happen to clear up this situation. We are very glad how smooth our first order and pickup went along using our new corporate account of Down Home. We truly wish we could have been informed of the corporate option years ago. We are hoping that this will finally eliminate our problems we have had prior with our drivers truck pick up. We have, on the average, rented twice a month for our program. Merci.

The snow on the windshield could have been totally cleared off. It presented some visibility difficulties and I had to hop out and wipe off what I could with my hands before I left the facility

At pick up truck was dirty and had 31 miles left on tank. I dropped tank of with 51 miles left on tank and received no compensation. But unknown to me was billed an additional 17 dollars apparently for going over a set amount by 17 miles. 1 dollar per mile. So charge to my credit card that i was not aware of until receiving statement via email. Social media goes a long way especially when it is negative

Fargos Uhaul has been nothing but trouble since day one. If we ever need storage we will not use Uhaul in Fargo. We did use Uhaul in AZ recently as well and they were great to work with.

After only a few days of my stuff being stored, I came and found my unit had a bunch of crickets throughout my stuff. Also there was a foul odor coming from a nearby unit. Also, as far as the price, this outdoor unit was more expensive than an indoor unit I have of the same size. That is why I made sure to get out before my free month expired because it was not worth the price. I also don't understand the access hours because I tried accessing my unit early evening one time and was not allowed entry due to the store being closed. Overall not a terrible experience but would not store stuff at this location again.

The guy who checked us out was by far the friendliest and easiest employee to work with. I just wanted to point him out because he was quick, cheerful, and just made everything easy. He was like that with the customers in front of us too. I wish I would have gotten his name. Storage units were nice, I like the one floor and outside better than the giant building uhauls. No pest issues too for it being outdoor. If we need a unit again the Main Ave uhaul would be the one we'd use again.

It took a long time at the service counter to get access to the unit. When we drove around to the unit, none of them were labeled and the one he directed us to had a padlock. Had to walk back to the service counter and wait in line to get someone to unlock. The whole experience took approximately 30 minutes.

This was a very poor experience. The facilities were in poor quality and NOT secure at all. There were thefts in other units during my time there.

The only improvement would be lighting within the interior units themselves but it is not necessary. I was very happy with the move in and move out process.

I personally called many times to reach the staff at the UHaul office and no one ever answered. The security gate was always broken or left wide open. The door closest to our unit was removed as an access point forcing us to haul all of our items back and forth down the length of the storage unit once we were done utilizing them after each of our swim meets. We as a team learned to adjust to the previously mentioned reasons for our safety ie. making sure we went to the unit with a buddy and visited only during the day light hours. The final reason we left was due to the fact it wasn't heated. We paid for heated storage as our electronic touch pads for the swimming pool can be damaged with cold. Many times, I accessed the space I could see my breathe inside the building. Ultimately, we moved to a different UHaul facility where all of our concerns were eliminated.

The unit given too me still had stuff in it. The person that helped me on site said this happens alot when using the website. The person on site was really helpful but the whole fact I had to go through a bunch of extra steps is disappointing

My properties was covered in dust and molds when I moved out of the storage. In my opinion, I think this storage should be torn down and rebuilt for health reasons. The building is so old and shouldn't be use anymore.

I had a great experience for many of the ten years until someone climbed over the unit walls and stole many items and ransacked the containers/boxes/trunks. We contacted the police who came and reviewed the incident and also asked for video footage to be reviewed with no results. It seemed that this could have been easily researched by finding out who leased a unit adjacent to mine to have had access over the small crawl space for a good length of time. Also the empty units were left unlocked and people would sleep, do drugs, etc in the units making it eventually an unsafe place to go. Having secured these empty units would have made a world of difference. Eventually, the back (south) doors where secured for exit emergency only but the unleased units were left unlocked so the transient population could till use them for there own. Frustrating as these units could easily have been locked by Uhaul. Perhaps heated indoor units is not the answer to secure storage. Thank you for this exit interview. And hope this helps for future secure units.

The door to the rental was broken, and the inside was poorly maintained. Not offering pro rating for the rental also left a poor impression.

It was disgusting and dirty and lot of my things got damaged, more over they have a very poor customer service and bad manners. No human relationship and very racist. They steal my money all in the name of interest that was their fault. U-haul will be my worse recommendation to anybody.

Only reason being I have been paying 120$ every month for a 10x10 at main Ave location and as I stand there to pay im reading signs hung on display garages and the 10x10 says 74$ so I ask about it and was told them r 7th Ave prices what is the difference and was told convenients when not true for me and for sure not 50 dollars more convenient so please get back to me and let me know if we could work a little something out cuz that's highway robbery $50 more for the same exact garage same exact security same exact everything same exact mice that I have in mind here I'm sure you have out there so I'd like to know a little bit more specific by the prices $50 more a month thank you other than that everything's been great

I've had Uhaul install trailer hitches on 2 vehicles and have rented moving van/truck a couple of times and now am renting storage space. I will always choose Uhaul over any other for my moving or storage needs.

Overall a generally good experience, everyone was very friendly but did have a few problems I felt could have been handled better. Signed up for auto payment when I rented but it didn't work and when I went to access my storage I was locked out. I understand things happen sometimes but was not happy that nobody was available to let me into my unit when payment was figured out. Also, gate was frequently just standing open when I came or when I drove by. Rented through the winter and several times when I came my lock was frozen shut and I could not get into my unit. I feel someone should have been able to assist me instead of telling me there was nothing they could do.

I needed to be out of my office space today and so all my things are stacked in mY driveway as I can't access storage. I couldnt locate the direct number for the Fargo ND Uhaul on Main and could not get in touch with them directly. I had to call three times to cancel my res, charged for two months after I cancelled.
