STEPHEN WWhen you tell a customer that your giving them a IN town fee, and then change your mind and STILL charge me for the one way trip. Them proceed to mess up the location. And you contact the support line. And then change to a better location. Which was told to be 24 hours. And it's completely shut. And you were told you'd get the charge back. And never did. This has been the worst experience ever.

MAHMOUD AThe 6x12 trailer I rented had a roll up door that is spring load. But way to tight It was hard to open and even more hard to close I hurt my several times I was disturbing flowers for mothers day weekend I'll get barn doors from now on. I think the Windsor Uhaul wanted to get rid of that one so they gave it to me cause is one way and I paid a premium price for it. Not happy at all

The Tecumseh Rd Windsor location was great and rented it to me for the price of a 5x8 and gave me a $20 discount. Will recommend this location to my friends. Merci!

RAKESH BThere was a foot of snow on windshield and ther was couple inches of ice sealed the cargo door on the back that I had to use ice breaker tool to break it, also the cargo door step at the back had couple inches of ice. When i came back and complained, I did not hear the word sorry even. My nephew was helping me move, he slipped on ice accumulated at the cargo door step and almost broke his foot. They were not apreciative of my comments and did not take it seriously.

And my pick up location was 30 min away which was a big inconvenience as it delayed my day by 2-3 hrs. When I got the truck it was covered in snow and I had to clean it before use. A very bad experience Sorry to say, but it was worse and I should be given a compensation for it.
ARCHIT MPersonnel were outstanding. Arrived at 7 am and lady handled all professionally, quickly and with ease. The trailer had daytime running light broken, other than that, all good.
MARTYN II know there is no such thing as perfection, but this experience was close to. I was help in a professional and efficient manner. The other associate was assisting his customers in the same manner. The day prior to my rental, I purchased a mattress bag and received the same great service from the same associate who took care of my reservation. Not to mention, hearing them talk to other customers both in person and on the phone was great. I've been in customer service for over 30 yrs and this right here. Not perfectection because we are human, but kindness and patience, knowledge and real. Merci.
COLE GMore staff on a busy booking day. Line was long and only two workers. I felt bad for them. The charge for hardly any gas used is insane. The up mark you guys have in gas is ridiculous

I was with UHAUL 4 years or more and prices never went up! So bright and clean, washrooms, armed and cameras, a lot of carts...I could go on and on. The manager worked with me if money was tight, and the whole team is help and friendly. If I need storage again, UHAUL is my only choice!

The only part I would recommend a bit more assistance with, is demonstrating how to use the Pre-Check link for the truck rental. I had to go back inside to ask for assistance. Maybe ask the patrons if it is the first time using that link and taking pictures. Staff can go with the patron and walk them through it.

Chistina S | Premières impressionsThe only problem i had was renting a 26 foot UHAUL I wish i had more time on the rental as had to rent a car to drive to Windsor that cost me 145 to drive to Windsor to pick up order then drive the empty truck Back to Shakespeare it was a 6 hour drive and it cost me in gas 345 or more as the truck only had 1/4 of gas to drive back to Shakespeare this was not far to me i hope UHAUL could help me with this cost as i picked it up at 2 and i had to have it back the next day to Windsor by 1 and i only had enough time to load half of the 26 foot then we had only 3 hours to unload truck at uhaul now i have to order another uhaul that will cost me more and My guys were not happy i told them its not my fault we i had to wake up at 430am to make the return time at 1 the total of the move was 765 and if i pick up a truck in my area it would of only cost me for a 1 way 346 plus my guys time of 7 hours as i have to pay them for 14 hours now i will be ordering a 20 foot very soon or maybe uhaul could give me credit as i am not done moving thanks but very happy still be safe ;

After dropping off my trailer rental, by the time I got back to the front desk, my account was closed before I decided what to do with the remainder of the month. I asked if there was a refund for the last half of the month. No refund available so I decided I would use the unit until the end of the month. I paid for the entire month. I was told I was already checked out. Not an option. Therefore not an option to use for the next 15 days. A very disappointing ending to the overall very good experience over the last 9 months.

I can enter unloading area with my car with no security verification (gates opens automatically) and enter storage area with no security checking. A lot of areas for improvement.

Needs to be more guidance on how to use locks and lockers... perhaps employees should walk with customers to their units and show them to the location of their locker/how to utilize their lock and lockers for the first time securely to avoid theft as what happened to us. Building flooded and no compensation related to that. Attempted to get a hold of insurance (which is a third party insurance company) many times with no return contact. Read the contract CAREFULLY because there are a ton of stipulations regarding damage.... Was given a swipe card to use after hours that did not work and therefore could access my unit after hours. Workers seem ill-knowledgeable, but some are great. One employee knew we'd been having a bad experience with and attempted to compensate us by lowering mileage cost on our truck rental and giving us last month rent free, so thank you for that. As I've been told, the store has no individual control and everything is run and mandated daily by corporate. Which is actually a huge pain and annoyance in special circumstances. I was given a temporary unit that I wasn't being charged for, and every time I needed to visit the unit, it was locked by corporate with a "non-payment" sticker on it. I received countless emails (even though I didn't owe money) from corporate that were void but "protocol." What a waste of time???? Sorry, but I will not be renting or utilizing Uhaul services again. And I do not recommend.

This time I actually called for a trailer and truck as I was buying a from a pickup truck to make a bed out of it! the guy was supposed to book it for me that I was talking to him I even gave him his my Visa debit I am not impressed with the knowledge and the stupidity of people that don't care of somebody else's time very inconsiderate! if it wasn't the for the girl that called me the day before and said do you still want to rent the truck and trailer I said still I already rented it 臘 I am extremely very upset and disappointed I will not recommend your company to anybody as I was told that I would have helped cuz I asked if I could have two bodies to help me and my buddy pick out the bed of the truck and put in a storage unit they told me yes we can get that two guys to help you! Thats what I was told when I got there they said no that's not our job I actually work at Gus Revenberg's as an auto detailer at Volkswagen of Windsor! I was told when I worked at Saturn's Hummer Windsor and Gus on that too customer is always right whether they're right or wrong the customer is always right and a happy customers are turning customer so I will make sure that if anybody ask about U-Haul I'm going to say don't rent from them go elsewhere I am so not happy I'm actually really angry! Worst experience ever I had to pull teeth with everybody at U-Haul

This caused me to forget sometimes, tripping the alarm.
ken n | Expérience généraleI have been using UHaul for many many years now. And I will continue to use UHaul in the future. But I do have a couple of concerns. 1) Very disturbing when the alarm sounds. It's very very loud and "piercing". Sometimes it seems to set itself off every few minutes. Difficult to get things done when you're having to constantly cover your ears. Doesn't seem to be a reason for it going off as frequently as it does. And why is it SO LOUD? A friend of mine was in the facility to help me when it went off. He has a sound sensitivity disorder. His first response after the alarm went off is that he wanted to sue UHaul. I had to have him sit in his car to protect himself. Surely the volume you have your alarm set at is higher than industrial "safe" levels. This should be reported. It has to be damaging to customers and especially your employees. I saw one of your employees wearing ear plugs for this reason. If your employee deems it to be too loud, then why aren't you warning your customers and recklessly subjecting them to unsafe sound. 2) you advertise that you have 5'x5' storage rooms. I had an item I wanted to put into a 5'x5' storage room that was 24" deep and 4'9" long. It should have fit. I couldn't because your 5'x5' storage rooms are in fact 5'x4' 7,5". That's close to half a foot shorter than you advertise. Of course, I couldn't fit the item and I had to forfeit renting the space. But this is false advertising. Stephen Romanow
