Locks that you sell are very difficult to operate. Attendant was unable to open lock and offered to drill for $50. Persistent manipulation opened lock. Lock you sold us was junk.

Susan TVan needed to be cleaned/swept a bit better prior to pickup. Also smelled like smoke. I do want to send a good review to the customer service that we received from Justen and Jackson. They were very helpful and courteous in getting us checked out of our current storage unit and into our new unit, as well as getting our van rental set up. Excellent staff upon check-in as well but I don't recall the name.

I switched from my storage unit to a larger unit yesterday and wasn't supposed to be charged until next month as I was told by the employee who was helping with my transaction. Not only was I charged after being told that wouldn't happen, for some reason they closed out my new unit & I don't have access to MY UNIT. This is only a few days before Christmas & I need the money that I was told wouldn't be charged on the card I gave as the card for auto payment starting next month.

The front of the van looked great. The cleanliness of the facility itself is excellent and I like the crew, although the fella filling out my paperwork didn't put my company name on the paperwork as I asked for tax purposes. But he appears to be new.

ANDREW KThe box truck was great. The trailer didn't have tail lights. I got all the way to Palmer and realized that so I put some temporary lights on. One of the tires on the trailer had a slow leak. And one of the ramps did not come down. I made due and got to my destination but suggest that they look things over a bit better. Merci.

Catherine T | Expérience généraleGet a new manager, he contradicted himself and made us jump through hoops to get a rig back when we asked for it to be extended. Also called from a personal cellphone after hours to try and have us bring it back by 9am on a work day. He tried to tell me that they had a reservation for said rig but they could inspect it and send it back out with me. Then it turned into "oh we can get you another rig instead after I called him out on the supposed inspection/ reservation. Upon calling the regional office they said there was in fact not a reservation and it was something the manager was blocking off. Super frustrating and honestly won't use this location again. This is not our first issue with this location at all. They had us drive a van earlier in the summer with studded tires on it still. They also rented us a van that was not full on fuel so we had to fill it up before it was even usable.

Clifford Z | Expérience généraleThis location was generally helpful. However, one employee put me on hold and never returned. Another took my credit card number 3 times before they figured out that they were on the wrong screen/form. Last, the overall customer service of all UHaul locations was terrible. I couldn't get a straight answer out of most of them. They didn't know how to accept returned equipment. They refused to give me a receipt for the equipment returned. I find UHaul to be very frustrating to work with.
JOHN CI was taught that how to judge a business is to see their competition. Say you have to have a hair cut. In a small town One barber has a spotless place, everything is clean and he has great hair cut and has no one waiting The other has a bad cut, is filled with people, and his broom is quite used and worn, and hair filled the trash can. Your best choice it to go to the slightly dirty barber.. The locals won't use the spot less barber, but he can't cut his own hair so it was done by the slightly dirty barber and that barber had a bad cut cause the guy with the shine clean shop cut the other barber! Thus while I want the 10*10 your team on the ground must be doing great service. The reason I was not upset about you not having a 10*10 and others had one....they had openings...and they are smaller than your business...

Also, 3-4 days after I had emptied and returned the u-boxes, I was then charged for the next month rent. when I called the manager to have this issue resolved, he asked me if his people were aware of the fact that I had emptied out my boxes. Well, yes they were aware since they had to make the boxes available for me to pick up to empty them out. I am still waiting on an answer as to when I can expect a refund.

This Was not a problem this time when I rented equipment, however, in past years, there has been long wait times due to the lengthy processing needed for each client. The employee team members always did a good to great job helping, The standard processing of paperwork appeared to be the main reason for lengthy wait times.

I drive 2 hours to go pick a truck up just to have the trailer be 4" too short,even though uhaul said it would work. When I told the clerk at the desk all she said was " sorry about that,did the trailer perform for what you needed?" Well no it did not and again all she said was sorry about that.
Justin BI will change my comments if my move in date is not corrected. I moved in last night as of 28 June. I was told my stuff was all done on the 17 June, but when I got to the facility, we had to do everything all over. So I feel my move in date was as of 28 June. If it would not been for the gentleman there I would have still be driving around with all my stuff in my car.

There us a Uhaul location where I live but they did not have the car hauler I needed so I had to pick it up and return it to this location. They also would not allow me to drop the car hauler off at the location where I live which added additional travel and time of 150 miles and 4 hours.

Bob SI would like to thank some of the staff I met during my time I had U-boxes stored and storage units rented such as Jarrod, DylanRose, the Forklift Driver (sorry I could not remember his name), Talon, the woman who would stop by while I was in the building to make certain everything was okay, John who assisted with a rental return correction, and the young man who helped me late one night to check out of my U-box so I didn't get charged for another month. These employees always treated me respectfully, were always courteous and friendly, and did more than the basics of their jobs. DylanRose and Jarrod were great with the computer and persisted through the sometimes confusing computer screens to get results. They took time with each customer and explained their steps to keep the customer informed. I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with each of the staff. I appreciated the large loading bays, the on-site bathroom facilities, and the large area where the U-box access was available. My boxes were available to me with easy access and ability to unload as I could into my storage units. Thank you Management and all Employees of the Kenai U-Haul Renatal and Storage facility!

This made the half day drive well worth it and the trailer performed perfectly for the near 4000 mile drive to Michigan
David ZList the correct level of fuel in the truck. Felt like I was being suckered on the fuel, gauge was supposed to be full, when it was obviously lower than full. I returned it totally full just to prove my point.

Late fee is not a problem but when they put late fee in that of late fee and then tell me they were putting a lean on my 50 thousand dollar car I just had to laugh! I was very unhappy with their answers to my questions! I know the people that works their are just following directions! Everyone at the Kenai Alaska UhAul are amazing very helpful staff! Just not happy with U-Haul policy and trying to take your property! For this I'll never do business with them again! My bill was 64 dollars and it ended up being 145 because they charged me 3 late fees and a lien fee it's not right! Definitely a thumbs down!

I've NEVER been to another business where the employees hatred for their job projects through work. I despised even calling to pay my bill because they were so downright RUDE. I rented equipment and trailers as well and will find elsewhere to do that from now on. One of the employees would close early and deny people access, refuse to take my cash and make my unit late, swear at me for demanding what I paid and scheduled for, throwing items across the lobby, or refuse to schedule a pickup because he was inconvenienced with the time. This place is POOR and I'll never recommend or return. Oh. And only the 2 managers are trained to handle cash??? What's that about!!!

Customers had to park outside on ice and wheel their items in and out of storage. Extremely poor business practice putting customers last.

And this was the day BEFORE payment was due. According to my paperwork it didn't say anything about charging early and locking it without notice. We won't be using your facility again.

"Extended hours" was a bit weird, plain 24hr access would be nice. And trash cans. There were no trash cans anywhere. I even removed some trash from the "yard" place where you can donate stuff. When we swept our unit I had to take the dust pan clear to the bathroom garbage. We are finished moving and just don't need a unit anymore, but I'd utilize these again if we needed to.

The girl didn't communicate that she was on the phone talking to some one in an ear piece or air pod situation so when I thought she was talking to me she said I wasn't talking to you I'm trying to figure this out if you don't want to have to go to the front desk to check in then stop. Then three days later I get a phone call saying my storage unit is past due. My response how is my second storage unit I have rented from you all gone past due when it's on the same account as my other storage unit and I'm on auto pay! Extremely frustrating!!! Honestly thinking about moving all of my things and giving some one else my business worst customer service any where that I've received.

If customers are valued why tell them to take there RV for asking for receipt for leaving keys with them. Disputes can not be resolved with owner if she won't listen or talk to you to fix problems . I tried to go back to ask some questions, after visiting and securing the two spaces I rented, and after a significant wait as another customer was being helped, I had to leave for another appointment. I found two brand new locks on the floor of my two units, after having just bought two from the staff person and wanted to figure out what to do with them. I will stop in the next trip and see what I can find out. Extremely Clean, excellent security and access. Nice job.

David ( | Expérience généraleI parked 2 vehicles in October. I wanted to disconnect the batteries to prevent draining the power. Employee asked me not to, because if they had to move them it would be a problem. She also said she could run the cars periodicalIy. I called in January and asked if they could start the cars in order to keep the batteries charged. I was then told that there would be a $20 charge each time I requested this. I asked a friend to go there and put a trickle charger on the cars. Again, I was charged $20 in order to allow him to do it. When we returned in April the batteries were dead. The employee would not allow me to bring in another vehicle to jump start my cars. She said the manager says it was a liability issue. My truck was about 50 feet from a roll-up door. We could have easily brought another vehicle in to jump start my vehicles. I had to return the following day with a portable charger to start my cars. I live 45 miles from the facility, so I ended up needing 2 days to get my vehicles back. The employees I dealt with were fine, but were obligated to follow the manager's instructions. As for cleanliness, apparently there has been some construction going on inside. My vehicles and all the others around it were covered with a layer of concrete dust, which is highly abrasive.. My question to U-Haul is- If you are storing vehicles for extended periods, why not have a portable jump starter? It would be a minimal cost to provide an increased level of service.

Clyde C | Premières impressionsStaff was friendly, she did make a mistake and put my middle name in as my last name and spelt it incorrectly but I caught it when she gave me a copy of my paperwork and she corrected it. I wasn't made aware that it was a U-Box and not an actual U-Haul storage so that was disappointing to find out after paying but I will still be using it (but I'm sure other customers would appreciate clarification ahead of time). The facility was clean but a second point of access would be convenient due to the fact that I have a 1 000 pound piece of equipment to move in and it will be a pain to haul all the way across the building since the second set of doors aren't open. Overall, it was a good experience, I just wish I was aware of the fact that it wasn't a normal U-Haul storage room, the typos weren't a big deal, just added a delay to the process, mistakes happen, I didn't mind, I'm just glad I caught that. I hope you guys open the second set of doors or will at least be accommodating and let me use them on Saturday when I move this equipment in.
