I received a car with check engine light on. After 20 miles I couldn't start the car. I would like to receive a refund. I have a picture of the dashboard when I receive a car if needed

I sent my son for a fast motor scooter pick up, supposed to be 19,99$ I ended paying 102$, for a 30 miles trip, they charged 1$ a mile and 8 gallons of gasoline at 35$ so this truck mileage is 3,7 miles per gallon at 4,45$ a gallon….. keep the picture of my driving license because is the only way to see me again

I reserved my trailer 3 to 4 weeks in advance so I would get my chosen pick up location. Not only did I not get it, I had to drive 15 miles out of my way (one way)for pickup and then had to spend 35 minutes in traffic I would not had to drive thru if I was given the proper pickup location.

There is criminal/stalker activity in the area where this storage is located. I came on a few occasions to access my unit, and a large SUV with darkened windows, drove up to the Uhaul curb side. The car idles and it is clear these people are watching me, as I loaded my belongings into my car. The same SUV would drive up, each time I accessed my storage. On the day I closed the unit, a man got out from the SUV, came into the Uhaul office where I was, and started shouting my last name. It was obvious that he had noted my car license plates and found out my details.

The u-box left NY late and arrived in Florida 2 days late. There should be tracking, to relieve the stress. Perhaps recommend the customer put an air tag in the box. I wish I had thought of it.

I went to the office to pickup my truck rental. When I got there they told me a have to do the pickup on the app. What is purpose of choosing to pickup in person if all I had to do is use the app or website. I wasted 20 minutes trying to gain access on the app to pickup my rental that failed to fine the office location. Only after the five failed attempts on the app, that a rep. decided to help me in the office. Very disappointed with this process!

First of all your hard sell on all moving supplies on your website is horrible. I wanted to rent a truck not get an upsell on everything moving. People were great but just 2 employees working the desk on a Sunday was a joke. Long wait and basically told here are the keys go find your truck. Next time Budget or Ryder for me Would not come back

The vehicle stalled on me twice. I also had to give the battery a jump twice. I spent more time trying to repair the vehicle than getting the job I needed done. As a first responder, someone who rely on helping people find that this location rather take your money than help a customer. Stay away from this location.

The online pickup was tedious! It's a long process and the site didn't explain how to get the key out of the box!!!!!! Luckily a guy was returning his truck and he was kind enough to help me. If he hadn't been there I would have had to wait for the store to open which would have defeated the purpose of doing the move early. It would be better to have someone there instead of this process. And when I first was calling no one answered the phone! Everything else was fine.

The overall experience was good. The initial transaction when starting the storage process was great, the store attendant was very helpful. In terminating my storage unit, the store attendant was callous towards me, even when asking for explanation of my bill. The facility was clean and the storage unit was good. I would recommend others to this location.

There needs to be more front desk staff. When I came back to return the car there was no one working inside the shop & there was a line of people waiting. Thankfully the UHaul app made it possible for me to return the truck without waiting .

I called days before my rental and asked for an additional day. the manager from this store called me 6 minutes after 10:00 am of my additional day and was very rude when I explained that i had the additional day. As I was actively moving every thing she was demanding to know when we would be done with the truck that I had for another 23 hours.

I shared my concerns with receptionist who informed me should would inform her supervisor but nothing was done. Truck had a hole in it which allowed rain to trip on my furniture. No support or assistance provided

The truck was dirty. The brakes were not working properly. The trucks was shaking vigorously as I was driving. I had to drive slow because the brakes were bad . The mirror kept snapping forward towards the glass thus I was not able to see the cars behind me or next to me. The mileage was too high at $2 per mile. I called and complained about the condition of the truck that caused me to return later than expected. That information was not put in the system. The some of the staff can be more welcoming and pleasant to customers.

Notified about nail after ticket was closed .. issues with equipment damage report being falsely made for a time it didn't occur and issued multiple receipts of different amount with little to no communication. Also issues with the insurance on the website not accurately matching what employees were stating. However, staff was helpful and informative when location was called to work out a resolution as the truck had nail it in at pickup from Maryland.

I didn't appreciate getting an email about my bill AFTER it was paid, secondly, I was given inaccurate information pertaining to if I was going to have to pay January after only being 4 days into the cycle. A different u-haul in the past didn't charge me for about the same amount of time a few months ago. Finally, I found out I won't be charged but initially was told I be. I hope to never need storage unit again & if I do, it won't be with uhaul.

My Ubox was shipped from Oregon to NY. The staff in Oregon were organized, polite, informative, helpful and timely. My box arrived a week ahead of schedule. After my box arrived in NY and I needed to pick it up and unload. I was required to schedule the pick up. This i did a week before the pick up date. Somebody called me 2 days prior to verify that i still plan on showing up on the set date, and i confirmed. I arrived 15 mins before my scheduled time on the set date. The staff didn't know what I needed, if it was just access or pick up. I was then told that my box is not on a trailer and I wouldn't be able to pick it up. The person who could put it on the trailer is not there, and there was nobody else who could perform this task. Then the staff discussed who called in sick, who supposed to be working, etc; things customers shouldn't know about, it's unprofessional. I informed the staff that my only option is to pick up the box on that day, and that i had a deadline to unload the box, due to another appointment. That is why I scheduled it over a week ago. Their offer to "just call me and get back to me" when somebody is available to help was ridiculous and I wasn't going to take them up on it. I chose to wait there because i had a deadline. I was informed to wait and that they will attempt to reach the general manager. Then I was told that another team member was reached who can put the box on a trailer and was told to come in, but that wouldn't happen for another 30-40 mins. An hour later my box was finally on a trailer; 90 mins after my scheduled time. Overall, the process of pickup up the box was very frustrating. The lack of organization at the New Rochelle location was unprofessional.

Complete pre-inspection of Uboxes before delivery and refrain from delevering broken and unserviceable Equiptment. I initially received a severely damaged U-Haul box upon my initial drop-off. The sides of the U-Box were broken and detached, there were holes in the wall panels, and the roof was crushed and caved in, making it completely unusable. I attribute this to a lack of pre-delivery inspection, as I believe someone may have thought they could overlook these issues since my drop-off delivery was scheduled for midday before my arrival home. However, After contacting customer service and explaining the situation, a replacement U-Box was delivered. This replacement box was in serviceable condition and appeared brand new. However, waiting for the replacement did delay my packing process, However, U Haul was accommodating and did accommodate my original pick-up time, allowing me extra time to complete my UBox packing The U-Box did arrive on time at my destination, and I was able to store it at my destination a reasonable quoted price, Despite the initial issues, both the drop-off and pick-up of the U-Box container went smoothly. All phone calls to and from U-Haul were professional and accommodating. I had to change both my delivery and pick-up times multiple times due to my changing schedule, but U-Haul handled all needs without hesitation and with professionalism. I truly appreciate their efforts in resolving the situation and meeting my needs, despite the early setbacks.

Size of rooms very good for the amount charged; the parking spots at the back were completely occupied by parked vehicles - not clear if these were owned by drop-off patrons; if NOT these should be available for drp-off or pick-up patrons

The app sucks. Attempting to pick up the vehicle using the app was ridiculous. It gave me errors in taking the headshot and would not take a proper picture of my license. I still needed the help Of the staff to be able to finish the process.

Uhaul asa storage is great but the billing leaves alot to be desired you can not get a statement when paying online it also does not allow you to keep more than one payment methode on your account the space is there but after 24 hrs it deletes second one also it tries to force you to automatic payment also …. Aside from that if you pick pod storage it forces you to a given building there were 2 places closer to me than what it chose ..the other issue is the website itself has a lot of redirects in it so it takes for ever to load

Arrived early buteft. 2.t hours late due to customer service trying to help multiple ppl instead of helping one at a time- I spent 2,5 hours there to get storage this is horrible.I expressed I was tired yet was disrespected. Given a top access storage to climb a latter when my gray hair is visually apparent.

Overall great and convenient experience. Clean and safe facility. The only negative is the app and website did not work to initially pre pay and confirm purchase of room, so we had to argue a little for the "free lock" promotion since you only got that with completion of the reservation online.

It's extremely hot in the storage area. Once you go pass the sliding doors, it's super hot. I sweat during each visit because Uhaul continues to keep it on heat when it's an average of 65-70 degrees outside now that we are in spring. Also my lock my was jammed yesterday and the customer representative did a great job with helping me. We both struggled trying to get it to lock/secure until he came back with the hammer and was able to lock it.. He stated he would put in a work order to get my locked fixed for unit 3263.

The team at this New Rochelle location has been top tired since I first met them. Their customer service is always outstanding. This is why I often refer people to do business with them. Also, the facility is always clean and whenever I have needed to use any of the bathrooms, they have been clean which gives a different level of comfort. They get an overall 10 out of 10 from me, I'm thankful for their professionalism and their kindness.

Staff was hot or miss with friendliness. It was a good price when I started but the increases got out of control. There has to be more done with pest control, it was absolutely DISGUSTING when I cleaned my unit out! There were dead mice, the amount of mice and rat dropping were astonishing. Rats ate through my clothes, and many things were ruined due to the lack of climate control.

The only thing wrong with storage space was the price kept going up like every eight months not good And another thing trying to get into the garages to get access to your storage. There were always U-Haul blocking or somebody's blocking trailers not good. As far as the place being kept clean and neat, superb excellent

When I first got there, I was slightly annoyed. I was going through a moving process and it was raining cats and dogs. Ms.Gordon at the Beechwood location in New Rochelle New York was very nice and pleasant. She changed my mood. She was polite and calm. Even though it started to get a little crowded, She made sure she finished up with me Explaining everything about the storage and the U-Haul before moving onto the next customer that's customer service at its best 

This U-Haul location provided the best customer service I've experienced in the two plus years that I've been a customer!!! I was disappointed that the location was not climate-controlled, and also that each storage. unit was not lighted individually. There weren't any trash receptacles located nearby, either.

But when I saw the water removed all items manager was not available called six times no answer was told he always answers his phone. I had numerous issues with my check in. The 1st was with the promotion. I got an email giving me the first month free. The contract # I had to valid ate the promotion wasnt working. I then called the 1800 number to resolve the issue. I was rest assured that there was no issue and the free month would be applied upon checking into my unit. I complete d my check in online and made my reservation. When I arrived at the facility to check in in was told the promotion ended. At took 2 representatives to finally fix the issue. After resolving that issue, I tried to go to my unit. I wasnt able to access it because the pin code in was given for the gate was incorrect. I then had to return to the deal to get my gate code reset. My check in process took over an hour. And I am a customer who registered fully online and paid in advance.

Very positive overall experience, except that there was a line of people waiting to be helped by staff, and there were only two people working, one of whom was moving in slow motion (it took him 10 minutes to gather one customer's supplies, because he was finding and carrying one item at a time, when he easily could have taken multiple).

After almost a year and half renting various units at a time I could said that's it's being a privilege to watched Mr. Ventura, handling the daily operations of this facility. Average because of poor customer service by Antonio. It seem he was only interested in charging the most cost he can find to customers renting trucks. It seem like he gets some kinda sales commission . He was rigid and unfriendly. Withholding info from customers to apply charges to there card unknowingly.

This facility is the most modern ,clean,secure,and has the easiest access to my unit. From just pulling up to the roll up doors and not having to get out of your car the roll up door opens automatically then once inside the bay after swiping in the dollys are there to load my property once in a huge elevator and dropped off at my floor I have access to my unit through a huge roll up door. All the while protected by cameras and a convenient two way intercom where you are in touch with the front desk in seconds. They also gave restrooms on every floor which is great. It is the best storage facility I ever rented from and I rented quite a few. But now all my storage needs will be done at this facility solely. I recommend this facility to everyone including people with disabilities such as myself.

I'm a first time storage unit customer and I'm very happy I choose UHaul. The staff person that helped me, he's name is Christopher. He was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. The storage location is very convenient to get to, well lit, and very clean. I especially like being able to drive into the storage building to unload my items. This will definitely come in handy during inclement weather. Great 1st time experience. Merci.

My one and only complaint is that you are short staffed on the weekends. Everybody was waiting in line for what I saw was only one employee at the desk. You need more staff.

Very helpful staff. Phone system can be frustrating. Staff who are helping customers in the store can't spend the time on the phone since it causes people in the store to wait. It woulsybe helpful to speak to a rep at the location and not corporate office which can cause extremely long wait times on the phine

The area where my storage room was located the motion detector lights would not activate as they should. The lighting was very poor.in this area.

Brought one way truck rental back at 4:55 pm on Sunday, 3/8/2020 and as if 9:30 am on Monday, 3/9/2020 the truck has not been checked in and no receipt has been emailed. Made multiple phone calls to customer service. Still waiting on phone call from Store manager. The unit was a "handicapped" unit with just a regular 36" door not a roll up "garage door" type. Made for storing items very difficult.
