MAHMOUD YI've rented three trailers in the past month. The first trailer had non working tail lights. I didn't realize this until I was already half way through my 8 hour trip. The last one I just rented had extremely low tire pressure (30psi, should be 65) I had to bring it back to uhaul after loading to have them fill the tires. Clearly this equipment is not properly maintained, and can cause a severe hazard.

Denise W | Expérience généraleYour sales rep Derrick was very polite and professional on Friday evening. Your other staff members could use a lesson in customer service. When I returned the truck on Saturday afternoon, I pulled up to the stop sign for Returns and waited in the truck as the sign instructs you to do. After waiting 10 minutes, my wife walked inside to find 2 employees just sitting behind the counter chatting away. They said, "just leave it there...we'll get to it later." Then I called this morning to request my final receipt. The guy who answered the phone was not polite at all and the entire conversation was like I was inconveniencing him, just for requesting my receipt. I have rented from this location several times, and this might be my last time. I prefer to do business with a company that appreciates their customers.
KEVIN LMy vehicle wasn't latched from the front on the trailer the whole way here. Maybe slow down a bit and make sure things are done right.

Pawel KWhen I got there : I was met in the parking lot and told to park the trailer and unhook it myself. I am an older person and I could not lift the youngest of the trailer off the truck hitch. Had to ask a staff member to help. I should not have to ask. Someone should have offered to unhook the trailer for me.

MATTHEW MOne of the tires had a leak and was very low and I called roadside assistance. They never called back! Had to stop and air it up myself and hope I'd make it back to my destination.

MARK SWalked in to find employee at desk she seemed like I bothered her to make her get off her phone. Got checked in, drove back to my trailer, found it myself and waited for employee to come out and back me up and get hooked up. Waited 10 minutes and no one came out. I called the the office and no one picked up. I hooked up the trailer myself and then drove around front to the office. I went inside and asked her if someone could at least help me check the lights and she said "yeah, I guess". Got my job done and brought my trailer back to them. Parked exactly where it said stop here and someone will come out. Guess what?? I waited 10 minutes and no one came out to check the trailer back in. You're going to see a trend here….. I walked inside to find two different employees on their phones just scrolling away. Told them I needed to check the trailer back in and she said oh you can just stick it back in the corner. I should have just left it behind the employee parking area. She then had the nerve to say do you need any help? Like come one, I'll be fine but it sure would be nice to have someone back you up so you don't damage their equipment or your vehicle. I don't know why they even pay anyone to work there, as far as I know I'm the only one who left the office and went into the lot today. I would highly recommend avoiding this location, these guys are much closer but will definitely avoid them and go to castleton next time.

LAURA WWhen I dropped off the truck a woman had me pull to the side and enable it there . I explained to her the pre existing damage . She said there would be record of it and not to worry. There would be no charges because there would be proof it was there when I received the truck . Now I've been charged $900 for something I didn't do . I work for a very large company who uses U-Haul to move employees and I promise you I will make sure U-Haul is no longer their company of choice if this isn't resolved . I am a very ethical person and if I caused any damage , I wouskn100 percent take care of it . Someone has to have record od this truck before I took it and know they are charging the wrong person . How about you charge whoever turned it in like that before I took the truck?

JAMES SThe Service was excellent. My only problem was the trailer itself. I did not notice the damage to the fender until I got home. It was no big deal other than I feared I might be blamed for it. I called customer services an ascertained that the damage was from a previous rental. I hauled a golf cart and had it secured using the four D-rings in the corners. The D-rings (back left -drivers side) broke loose and the cart incurred some cosmetic damage to the right rear. The smooth metal floor created problems.

TIMOTHY HThis is by far the nicest facility I have ever been to! Convenience of the pull in garages to get out of the elements was top notch! I forgot to swipe my card one time and when I went to unlock my own storage unit without logging myself in, the alarms sounds. Although It really scared me, to know just how secure my storage items were brought peace. I honestly couldn't say enough about the storage units and ease of renting and returning trucks!

Chris was great, but his staff was still poorly qualified, either lazy and uncaring, or just did not know proper procedure. My fob never worked after several attempts, so I used my code - it was not worth my time to get corrected. The trickle charge power never worked and left my battery dead The snow bank up against my rig mad it difficult to pull out and the ice on the lot was rediculaous. Over all, I would suggest that UHaul higher a more qualified staff to run the day to day.

It is not a reflection of the staff as it is out of their control. However due to cooler temps and large highway construction in close proximity to the perimeter units. Some additional mice mitigation would be helpful. I am aware they are outdoor units and some pests are to be expected. I removed 9 mice caught with glue traps I placed 11 days ago after noticing mice droppings on top of my items. AGAIN, this in no way is reflective of the staff / employees who have been great. Just thought someone would like to know.

I hope Uhaul gets a grip on how frequently they raise prices. People can't afford to absorb these increases. The monthly price has nearly doubled in 2 years we've been renting space. it's crazy.
Jim C | Expérience généraleWe stored furniture there for 18 months. Every month there was an email that the payment date was upcoming and a follow up email when electronic payment was made. Upon move out, the storage unit was extremely clean and plenty of moving carts available so it sped up the removal process. Overall, this was a very satisfactory storage and I would highly recommend using UHaul storage.

Tonya D | Expérience généraleWe went through a lot of hassle to get our storage unit. We were already tired from our trip from Alabama. He first sent us to another location to a storage unit, when we got there the card wouldn't work. So I called and he told me I'm sorry your storage unit is actually here at the first location. So we had to drive back to the other location to unload our U-Haul truck into the storage unit there. We were all so tired and weary from the journey I was ready to go. After we unloaded the truck you told me to come into the office and he would compensate me for all the mishaps. I went into the office and waited a good while, and when he finally came in he informed me that there was no way he could compensate me for the mishap. Everyone was nice there but it was a huge hassle. Once we get our stuff out of the storage there I doubt I'll ever use U-Haul again. I was also quoted a cheaper price online when I rented the truck and when I got to the location to pick the truck up the cost was $70 more. Just an all-around bad experience. All in all I wouldn't recommend uhaul too many people.

When I asked for the fob back to use the space to the 21st which I paid for, I was told the move out could not be "undone". Seems a bit crooked.

I had already reserved a space elsewhere with a different company, but when I went to unload my packed truck I was unable to access my unit due to a bad gate code. I remembered seeing the facility and called customer service immediately to see if there was a unit available. They were able to get me taken care of without even having to leave the truck and got me into the perfect unit. Thanks for having my back in a pinch!

MARY A | Expérience généraleI didn't even get to use storage But it was nice The person who rented me the was very nice went to rent a truck at your facility and it was keys were handed to me and says three hours over to go get it here's your dolly and you can put it on yourself. I have never ever been to any other U-Haul where this man told me just to load it myself and go over and fetch it. The trucks are always brought it front. They're clean they're running they're ready to go and these trucks these two trucks were not clean at all inside or out, so will not be coming back there. I hope that you're able to improve your facility and your tracks from this. I'm sure you're probably shorthanded like the rest of the businesses. Merci.

On (Oct. 27th, 2022 from the assistance of your employee's, corrupt liberal Federal agency members coralated a hate crime in taking part in an unauthorized search and vandalism of my personal property. Called several times to figure out move out process/requirements and every time I was transferred to the after hours employees;all calls being made during these said hours. Although these employees were helpful they were never able to relay that I was out of my unit. Last person I spoke with told me that I would receive prorated rent payment back. When I actually made it to the facility/office (while actually open) I was informed that "we don't prorate". When I inquired if I still had access then, since I had just paid for the month 2 days prior, I was met with "nope I just cancelled you". Have never had issues with storage units until now. Very Disappointed

That is not an acceptable way to do business. I agreed to rent one of your 48 ft spots for $40 more which again is bad business not to match the rate that I reserved.

I run a multimillion dollar business and customer service is everything. She made me feel like I was interrupting her lazy time. Again, the place was beautiful, clean , safe and convenient, but the company should hire people that is friendly and profesional or at least try to train the one young lady to greet people, smile and say and at least say thank you for your business. (Even of this gets deleted or not placed on their website I will be posting it to both yelp & Google review pages) My husband and I requested a truck for a 2 bedroom apartment moving from Ft Wayne to Noblesville. I got confirmation codes sent to my phone two days before moving. I even called BOTH locations to confirm our reservation. My husband and father in law show up the morning of moving to get our truck from the Fort Wayne office. THEY DIDNT HAVE IT. The stupid staff member said "oh we were suppose to call you yesterday about this. We don't have it." They refunded us but what were we suppose to do for a TWO HOUR TRIP down to central Indiana? So we call around to the other Uhaul sites closest to us (even 50 mins out) and we even called the Nobelsville office to beg for a truck. We thought about driving it all the way to Fort Wayne. We were that desperate. EVERY SINGLE office told us they were sold out of every truck, van, trailer, etc. ANYTHING. Thankfully the Nobelsville location gave us the month free of rental for storage, but I will NEVER AGAIN use this god awful company. And I will be telling everyone I can that both of these locations are incompetent & whoever was working on Aug 13th should be FIRED - specifically the Fort Wayne Clinton street one.

I actually canceled my trailer rental when she began yelling at me for not following her instructions, which I clearly didnt understand.

I would still use this company once more, perhaps for a different truck. The truck wouldnt start. Took 2 hours when uhaul tow got to us, brakes were not good. But with all that, i would try again because of the workers.

Doug B | Premières impressionsYou can offload your truck after 5pm because the staff will lock the main entrance and your card couldn't have access to let you in, you have to walk through the side door which means you can take in heavy stuff like couch or anything that is wider than the side gate. This doesn't make sense as it renders useless the access card. I don't see the purpose of the access card if the main gate where truck can offload stuff will be shut at 5pm, it means you can't offload after working hours.
