The line was exceptionally long and there was minimal help available. The guys were doing their best, but one of them never used a computer before because somebody didn't show up 14 people in line 2 guys work in the front counter and they had to do the hooking up as well. Poorly managed organization.

Luay Eljammal was awesome . Made sure my daughter's trailer hitch was installed correctly & in a timely manner. Great customer service employee. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be completed, Luay multi tasked with many other customers.

I. Spite of signage saying there was an elevator, there was none. After asking for a refund, k have been waiting since April 30th for any action. This manager was not even on site when we arrived. He came speeding in a car right before we were about to leave, walked right by us, and entered the building, then finally called us back. Poor experience overall. Dan said he would refund my rental and take care of this with an email to confirm. So far I've had to call various numbers at least 4 times to finally get a refund, which I still do not see in my account. Do better.

Seemed understaffed as the wait time for assistance was prolonged. However, once being helped customer service was fast and excellent. The trailer i rented had a small amount of broken clay pottery still in the bottom of despite having a cleaning fee added on to the rental charges.

Love you stuff was extremely helpful, professional, and respectful. We were met with kindness information and it was a quick process to get in and out of the office. The van was clean ready. Air conditioner worked extremely well radio worked extremely well and the vehicle was very clean. I've been to other U-Haul places. This is by far was the best and that they had plenty of supplies Very open lobby and staff was extremely friendly. The van ran perfectly and I'll recommend it to my friends.

Vehicle is easy to drive but the alignment on the vehicle is scary. Overall it was fast and easy to get the truck. The Mobile app process needs a bit of work and the contact requirements was odd to ask for an individual and a company which made no sense to me. Merci

Hi, Sometimes the doors don't work even after checking in and out. It wasn't even after hours. Luckily someone saw me outside and let me in. It would also happen when trying to exit. I'd have to try different doors. I missed my check out date because of this a couple times I couldn't get in to take out my stuff. Now I have to pay for an extra month and the storage is empty. Please look into this matter so other people don't get stuck inside or outside.

This was the worst experience we have ever had! We made a reservation a week in advance and received a confirmation. Then the day before the move it was changed. So the Anaheim location transferred us to the corporate office and Lidia told us they didn't have any vehicles we requested in Orange County. She offered us a smaller vehicle with the trailer and said it would equal the same as the one we requested which was a lie and we had to take 2 trips. When we returned the vehicle we were charged extra for going over the mileage. The whole experience was a joke I do not recommend this company to anyone!

I was so appreciative of the effort that Westminster took to accommodate my needs when Huntington Beach gave away my reserved rental without a call and after I had put in my driver's license jpg into the system. That inconsiderate move cost me time and money, and jeopardized my ability to complete the move that day. If it had not been for the friendly, empathetic, and caring service at Westminster, I would never be back to U-Haul again. Thank you to the kind individual at Westminster that assisted me.

First, we got a call a day before our reservation date and were told our desired 20 truck was not available. They told us we would be receiving a 26 truck instead at a much farther location with NO up charge (we got charged an up charge). We arrived at the rental and the worker just gave us the keys without checking anything (equipment or gas). We left the rental and saw that there was no gas so we went to the nearest gas station and filled $60 worth. Then, we get home and open the back of the truck and there is none of the equipment we ordered whatsoever. Since we were in a rush, we just borrowed what we needed from our mover friends and I gave the pick up location a call to tell them we didn't receive any equipment + got an up charge. We were told we would receive a refund of ALL the money owed back to us. However, we only received a refund for the lack of equipment. Mind you, the truck had literally no gas to go farther than like 5 miles when we were promised the trucked would be left with around half a full tank. We complained about this too, but nothing was done about that either. I'm honestly just tired of calling and being told we'll get a refund and having to re-explain so many times to different workers. We should have paid ~$280 and got charged ~$380. I just wanted my money back and the promises to be kept. Super disappointed and made the entire move so much more complicated and stressful. Never using U HAUL again.

Need trash bins next to drop off location. Sunday night 2/23/25, before locking up I gathered all the trash in the bed of truck to throw away… I looked all around for a trash bin but couldn't find one. Instead of just throwing the trash on the ground, I neatly stacked the trash by the front seat for the worker to throw away the next morning. Thinking this wouldn't be an issue… instead I was charged $15 cleaning fee and told next time just litter and I won't be charged a cleaning fee since it's not in truck. This location is notorious for over booking, cancelling last minute on you and pick-up trucks are always filthy inside when renting. Might be time for a new general manager.

We were not allowed to drop off the trailer at the rental yard we agreed to when we picked up the trailer. Several hours after we picked it up, had it loaded and were on the road the corporate office called me and said there wasn't room to receive the trailer at the place U-Haul originally agreed to. It now needed to be taken a 25 minute drive in the opposite direction, all side streets, so almost an hour out of our way. The kid from Corporate said it didn't matter what they had agreed to earlier, they would not accept the trailer as originally agreed. I didn't appreciate his attitude and, in the future, will be looking for competitors. I had to resolve the issue the following day with another lengthy call to U-Haul. We still had to go out of our way but only about 1/2 the time the kid imposed on us the day before.

One more very important thing, Dan Desmond, the General Manager is always there working hard to make sure things are operating in tip top shape. He makes sure his team operates efficiently and respectfully. This place was one of the best places I have ever had storage at. With a leader as awesome as Don there, all things operate like a well oiled machine. Great service from a great team, it was a great experience, fully recommended. I was there for many years.

the best U-hual experience I ever had in my life and Ive dealt with u-hual from Michigan to California being a Michigan native. Theses guys at Westminister are good at their job good guys and pleasant to engage with. Id go out of my way an hour (maybe not an hour but about 20 mins) to deal with this location over any other.

Literally the easiest and best storage facility I have ever used. It seems these days customer service is gone, not here! The manager Dan is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and he holds his staff to the same standards. No homeless people here, no rodents, no mold, no shady characters, no trash. All the things you typically find at storage facilities, are not here! In 3 yrs I never had any type of break in, never heard of one from neighbors, or ever even saw signs of one. That is people's biggest fear when renting a storage unit. You could lock gold bars in here and never worry about them. Cameras EVERYWHERE! Climate controlled, just an all around win. And way cheaper than the place next door. Cant go wrong.

Not the issue with the location as they were very accommodating and transparent. The issue was with customer service not clarifying the month free is only valid within the same drop off location as the rental truck or else a ridiculous charge would be added. Though to their end, they tried their best to find an available storage unit as close as possible to our destination. Overall, considering what could have been a very stressful move, this location and the young man who helped us out (and clarified the different costs depending on truck rental drop off) made the experience pleasant.

Everything was good as far as storing items. However the staff and management was problem. Everyone under manager Daniel at Westminster site were friendly but they all didn't really seem together...one tells you one thing and the next one said completely opposite. The site Mgr was a bully, acted like he was only there to collect a paycheck. When a stand-lamp was stolen out of my unit he could have cared less. FLIPPANTLY told me ,"Didn't see a thing on tape," nothing more, just didn't care. He is rude. NOT MGMT MATERIAL. I FILED A COMPLAINT ABOUT HIM AND HOW HE PERSONALLY VERBALLY ASSULTED ME. I signed a contract on a unit that was already full and they have no elevator. so after moving mattress and other heavy items by myself i get to unit after signing contract for a specific one and it was occupied and the next available one was being advertised as a 5x8x10 (it was 5x6x8) and they were listing it falsely. I am now going to be charged $125 extra a month for a bigger unit because Uhaul has no idea what inventory they actually have. Would give 0 stars if i could.

This is unbelievable, I called uhaul and reserved a unit big enough for our! 2 bedroom apartment, when we got there the Mamager said we can't rent it here. And I was asked to leave with no reason why. I now have lost everything that was in my apartment

When I showed up to move in after reserving my unit the Uhaul team gave my unit away. I called two days before my move-in date to make sure everything was good. I was told by customer service it was all mine and ready. I ended up having to pay $60 a month more for a larger unit I did not need. The manger Dan never followed up and was rude. Took 45 minutes to check in and only one person was working on the weekend. My movers literally moved my whole storage when I was waiting in line for get uhaul. After I returned my uhaul it was another 30/40 minute wait to return equipment and I saw the same people in line when I left. This is a billion dollar company why isn't there a more efficient way to get vehicles. At enterprise rental you literally check in at kiosk and get vehicle within minutes. I was talking to other customers in line and they said this specific uhual only one person is always working. Cashier didn't even do a walk around of the vehicle or look at gas and I just turned in keys/closed out storage unit. When I got the bill I was charged for not filling up and insurance around $85 that I did not ask for. I took pictures of before and after of gas and sent them to uhaul. Uhaul customer service only reimbursed me because I took photos. If i did not take them they probably wouldn't have reversed the charge.

I would have rated 5 stars, but because it lacked an elevator and I rented a unit on the 2nd floor, having to carry more than 20 containers that were at least 50lb each, made me cancel it right away. I thought there would at least be an elevator to help and make it even more convenient but I was shocked to find there was none. They should have mentioned that there was no elevator before I rented it.

It has been a great experience with my storage rental. This facility is a little out of my way but worth it. The entire staff has always been friendly and helpful. I also do all of my Uhaul rentals at this location and refer folks to go to this location because of the service. Keep up the great work and the way that you do business and your servicability.

On another note I rented a truck and found it was filthy. I was disappointed and didn't feel comfortable that it was sanatized. I was sent to a third party location to pick up the truck. Who's primary business is renting wedding supplies. They wore no masks. Clearly no monitored by UHaul corporation. Very disappointing.

We had the best experience dealing with Daniel Desmond. We shipped a couple of U-boxes from Dallas to your location. We came in because the agent in Dallas had promised something that was false. Daniel listened to our complaint and came up with a solution. He turned an unhappy customer into renting a storage unit from your location. He is a great asset to your company. I emptied my unit clean. It was after office hours so I had to call in to close my account which is what I wanted anyway because of covid. The location never answers the phone and so everytime I called I got transferred to the company hotline. I spoke to several representitives who couldn't make contact with the location itself. Each time they put a note on my account saying what I was requesting and telling them to call me back in an email. They never called. Then I got billed for the next month and tried again. This rude representative said the only way I could close the account is to go down there in person because I had fill out paperwork. That was a lie. If I am at risk of covid I shouldn't have to go in to the location. She said I would be continuously "billed for the rest of my life" if I didn't go down there myself. There was no paperwork to be filled out. Your staff lied to me and wouldn't help me even when I begged for help.

After having a very stressful night where I was told Uhaul did not have a truck for me to rent, although I had a previous reservation, I arrived at the Westminster's storage office the following day to be told I could no longer rent an already reserved storage unit under the same contract. I stood there mouth dropped, with a last minute 1day $332 Dollar Penske Rental truck, driven one way over 50 miles, loaded with every item my disabled mom owned. I was confused about having to pay what looked like close to $300 to rent a storage unit. However, "Captain Save A Customer" came to my Rescue. "Dan Desmond" is my Super Hero!! He swooped in and listened to me vent, heard my story and cleaned up a mess he did NOT create. Dan was patient, friendly, welcoming and got me a smaller perfect size storage under the previous contract. Also, while helping me, Dan went the extra mile to give another customer his own personal bottled water who asked to buy water. "Dan is the Man" and is a major appliance to Uhaul. He helped me trust in Uhaul again. Thank you Dan

The moving of the box as it was dropped broke my only thing I didnt want damaged! 75in tv!! Took me 2 years to biy this and now its trashed. Thanks to the fort driver that didnt seem to care about

I don't even have items in storage with this location, yet they bill me and put liens on imaginary storage units. U-HAUL IS A FRACTURED BUSINESS. By far, the worst storage experience in 57 years.

This place and staff are all first rate. My belongings were covered in rat droppings after I moved out. But I understand it's probably an ongoing issue and noticed the traps when I moved in. Thank you
