It's not the first time at this location that this has happened. The first time, a small scratch while removing the chains from my tow-hitch. The U-Haul rep pulled the chain out fast and carelessly that it flew into the bumper valance. Hitting it and leaving a small scratch. I let this go 2024... The second time 6/21/2025, again pulls the chain fast and carelessly. Now, the chain hit's the bumper valance chipping the paint off. I would rather, not have U-Haul reps attach or detach the trailers to my car just damage it. The valance alone costs $342 from the dealer. Very annoyed! U-Haul should do better taking care of customer cars as they expect the customers not to damage their rental property.

The staff at both the Arlington Heights and Placentia sites were very helpful. This was the best way I could have shipped my items!
HANNAH KI made a reservation for this location but for some reason it had my reservation set for melrose Park, so if there wasn't a truck available I wouldn't have been able to go through with my reservation. The system had a glitch and even though my email said the right information the system had the wrong information. The associate that helped me was very knowledgeable however and did what she could to help me get what I needed and it did end up being a good experience.

GEORGE GFuel Charge: I drove the truck for 4,1 miles, and was charged a fuel surcharge of $10+ dollars for 2 gallons. Our not for profit has been renting trucks from this location for 5 years and at least 8 times per a year. We make the same 4 mile round trip and this is the first time I have been accessed a fuel surcharge. Seems like either the "pre rental" fuel level was wrong or the change of policy is to drive revenue. Very unfortunate and frustrating

LOUIS BEmployee was super nice but both trucks here were raggedy as hell and thankfully I didn't fall and eat shit when i stepped in the atf that was all over the back bumper and compartment of the truck. Although maybe it would have been better if i would have I'd love some time off work and free money. Using literally anyone else the next time i need a bigger vehicle.

KEVIN CPerson at register was not processing my debit cards right and made me go get cash. I called the bank to ask and they said the person at register was entering numbers wrong. The person made me feel like all 3 of the cards I was using had no cash. U-Haul now wants to charge me for a toll I already paid sent them the invoice and because the toll does not match they still want me to pay it even thought the time is off 2 minutes and the plate and date are all the same

Erick NI've used services at this location many times and will continue to do so. However, I won't use the mobile app anymore for checking in. What a pain! The process was overly complex and the number of photos required was over the top. I give that experience a Poor rating if there was an option to do so.

ERZORIG NUse this location from time to time to rent a unit to pick stuff up for my home. They are always ready and have a unit in the size I need. Very consistent service and care to customers. Would recommend a better land scape program and minor investment as this retail point is on a prominent corner , a lot of time during the summer months it isn't very eye appealing. They do a great job for me every time.
