I wouldn't recommend u-Haul after my experience. This rental was a train wreck and there are other choices for truck rentals.

TIMOTHY MThe staff person I spoke to by phone prior to drop-off was very helpful. We dropped our rental off after hours, and they key box was clearly visible by the business's door. The only thing I didn't like is that I was supposed to check it back in online to avoid a $20 after-hours fee. I thought this was a bit unfair. Uhaul should realize that not everybody carries a phone around all the time, and because all our stuff was packed because of the move, I had no access to my computer to access the internet.
ANDREA LWanted a utility dolly to use during move. The store said it would be in the truck when I picked it up and it was not. Thank God my neighbor had one!

The rear brakes kept grabbing , grabbing and sticking to the point that it was causing me to not be able to move thru an intersection safely. The previous renter of the exact truck I rented had drove it like an idiot bc I saw him leaving the gas station on his way to return the truck

ALEC PWindshield wipers fell off when I turned them on. Had to stop and reattach them properly. Would be nice to have Wi-Fi to use the mobile app to pick up keys when the business is closed. Had to use the moose lodge Wi-Fi

Terry WA small crank up and down lift jack on the tongue would be a help especially for us seniors . I had a 6×12 dual axle and thought it pretty heavy to lift on and off my hitch . Trailer towed great .
paul sThe store needs to stock more (different styles) towing hitches and equipment used for towing. I had to run to a non uhaul local store to get a tow hitch sleeve. Luckily they had it in stock. The straps on the auto transport were seriously dirty and straps were a bit frayed. One side came loose I noticed and had to stop the trip to retighten. The staff (Jessica) was very professional and helpful. A+
