The check-in process from the phone was NOT smooth. It took me a while to realize that your website isn't compatible with my primary browser (Opera), so then I switched to Chrome. It took more than ten minutes for me to grant permissions to the site, even though I had the security and site settings correct from the start. Eventually I cleared the cache, force-quit Chrome (and Opera), used desktop mode, and after two tries was able to grant permissions. Then the ID scanner wouldn't work. Your website could use a lot more "help" buttons! The lady at the shop graciously called me to inform me of an item I had left behind, so +1.
