The experience was unorganized. The location and hosting business site was confusing. I hadn't expected to rent a vehicle from a liquor store. When I entered the store, the cashier seemed confused as well. The staff seemed unfamiliar with the check out process. They kept asking for my visa. I had made the reservation with a corporate account. I was trying to share the corporate billing process, at least from my experience. I gather they may be new to the arrangement. The physical space was too small and awkward for checkout. There was one register with about 1 sq foot of space, which I needed to move aside for other customer transactions. I had to scramble to find a surface to scan my license, which turned out to be the top of an ice cream cooler. I had to scan my DL both sides 3 times and the ap kept rejecting my DL, until we got help from customer support. The gentlemen renting the van gave high pressure to opt in for additional insurance. They stressed the worth of the van ("$35,000") pressuring me to add the insurance several times. I became increasingly uncomfortable. I had reserved a dolly. It did not come with a dolly. I was charged for the dolly. It took 45 minutes just to checkout. The neighborhood store collab may have been a great idea on paper, but not efficient or pleasant for the customer in real life.

alexis pDid not want to give me the U-Haul. I had to wait 30 min. He wanted me to keep calling U-Haul and said someone needed to call him to confirm that I could take the van even though I reserved it ahead of time and did the check in process. Would rather drive further away for smoother process.
