MICHAEL SI think it should be more clear that if you don’t return the U-Haul with the same amount of gas in which you rented it at you’ll be charged an extra fee.
Keith JWe reserved a uhaul & dolly and when we arrived were told they didnt have a dolly and no one else in the area had any. When she realized that meant we were not going to rent the uhaul she called another person down the road and he said he did have a dolly and that we could rent from him. Perfect! So we sign everything and go to the other place and then when we get there (3,5mi down the road) we get the dolly but realize the truck doesnt have ramps, so what was even the point for the dolly? I called her back and she said we could bring the truck back and try and find one with a ramp and we would just need to pay the mileage. When i asked if we were still getting charged for the rental she said its out of her hands and was up to uhaul. We found a different uhaul at another place with ramps. Told her about our experience and she literally showed us on the computer how that lady couldve helped us and not made us get charged around $50 for a 7 mile drive and no actual use. I get charging us the mileage and the protection plan we purchased but we didnt even use the truck bed. We had used yall previously for uhaul and now i will make sure no one i know use Huffman Self Storage for anything because they are money hungry. Next time don't lie and say it's out of your hands when you could've just edited it to a vehicle change. I get that we should've checked to see if it had ramps but we didn't realize you had to have a 15ft truck or bigger to get ramps. We had told her about how heavy everything we were moving was and that it was two of us. You'd think common decency would've been her saying that truck wouldn't work for us. Just wanted our money.

Everett DMake sure the straps on the car dolly are not reversed installed.pervious customer caused a struggle for half a hr to get 1 strap loose off the ratchet part made a good knot.other than that smooth towing.i recomend this location when the conversation about a situation arrives.

Dominique SEverything went good. The lady was very nice and helpful. But at the drop off location y'all sent me that was closer toware I was moving was closed even though their sign and online says open so was confusing on what to do exactly. Had to call different location on how to return vehicle properly.
Chrystal BNothing- the employee ms Smith- is always amazing helpful attending to making sure all is well with the truck and very efficient- I think she deserves a raise and should be offered a position at one of your hub s closest to the Huffman texas area!

Rosalva MTrailer was missing an Amber cover for one of the front clearance lights. and this was the second location i went to to pick up the trailer, I had originally reserved one in Freeport TX at Ocean Food Mart and when i arrived the trailer was not there, so i had to call in and find one along the route is was taking. The Huffman location was about 20 miles out of route for me
Ernest YThe air conditioner went out at the Florida line. We had to drive the next 500 miles with no ac. Called into uhaul and they gave the options of stopping where we were and they would send a mechanic, us move items to a new truck or get a credit. We opted for a credit. Dropped off truck let him know what uhaul said. Just received receipt and there is no credit attached. I will be calling uhaul again today.

EDDIE BThe owner was not there and did not answer the phone. I left the trailer a day early but had to go back and take it to another location because no one was at the business for over 24 hours. Poor way to run a business.
Brad SIt took 2 minutes to check in. It's unacceptable for a long time customer. You'll never have my money for sure. That was the last time I rented from Uhaul. All you needed was to add a few lines to your codes: IF customer had 3 reservations AND has been a customer for at least 1 year THEN Automatically approve the customer ELSE Apply manual approval A multi million dollar company cannot figures this out! Shame!
