GARY SI reserve the 10 foot a month and a 1/2. Almost they called the day before, so they don't have a 10 foot or 20 foot. I'd have to drive an extra 45 minutes to get a 20 foot somewhere else and I couldn't do that. I don't have any way to get there, so they gave me a 26 footer. Cause I'm gonna be a $145 in gas to get down here. And I only went from one part of Maine to a little pass Portland.
Philip BAfter this experience, I could not recommend the UHAUL company to anyone. The whole experience was a giant disaster. From picking up the truck right through to drop off. UHAUL ran my card THREE times causing my funds to be wiped out (and overdrawn) due to pending charges. When I called to inquire about this, I was assured it was only ran once. My financial institution proved that to be untrue. I called UHAUL back and they said that it only took money once and the other two times it was ran will just fall off in about a week. So, in the meantime I have NO money available to me. Had to borrow money to even return the truck! The company made NO effort to compensate for their mistake. Instead said that it would be up to the drop off location to offer any sort of compensation! WTF?! The drop off location had NOTHING to do with what caused the whole problem. Overall, this was the WORST experience I have had with ANY sort of rental company.
timothy D2nd uhaul truck rented and you guys duck a maintenance. First truck burned me and was to tight. SECOND WHICH IS THIS TRUCK HAD PEICES STOLEN OFF IT SO WE HAD TO WAIT FOR IT AND YOUR your transmission sucked plus still over heated and it came to us damaged.

EMILY EI used the app to return the car carrier. After I took the required photos, the return was complete but I didn't realize that. There should be a submit or done or next indicator to show that I had successfully completed the return. I thought I had done it wrong until I went to my past orders to see it was actually accepted. Otherwise all went well.
KELLY LHave a check list included with the contract paperwork with a comment section to report any issues encountered during the rental.

KEITH GThey don't have enough lock boxes to distribute weekend rentals, thus they leave the keys in the ignition. Which I don't have a problem with; however they know the police comb their lot and put all visible keys in their dropbox; thus resulting in you renting a truck you now cannot use. If this is the practice they should be more available by phone or any means of communication. We lost hours of time, and lost picking up items we specifically rented the truck for. Overall very big waste of time and money for us.
lisa kThey weren't open when dropped off. But it was easy , fast and had a spot to park. They also got our receipt back to us through email promptly. Cannot say anything else.
Emily MThis is not a reflection of the pick up location, but U-Haul charged me for another day because I was 3 hours late returning the truck. It's not like they missed a rental because there were other trucks on the lot. I am on a fixed budget, so $55 is a lot of money to me. Not impressed

brian bwe rented this truck in Canada and returned it to Houlton Maine even though we originally requested Waterville NB the truck was a few hours late so we had to pay an extra day but not in Canadian dollars but U.S. dollars this was not this dealers fault he called UHAUL and they said charge the customer hopefully never have to rent a UHAUL again

CHARLES CCustomers be sure you check where you are picking up your rental prior to arrival. I didn't and had to travel 50 extra miles to get my rental. Not the locations fault. U-haul's fault.

Michael LThis particular experiance was exceptional in my opinion. I left the vechiel swept out, just like I did with my previous U-Haul rentals. Only this time it was acknowledged that I left it clean. The guy at the counter at this location was very friendly and helpful. All representatives should be as helpful and as curtious as he was.

Skip CI was contacted the day before pick up saying that I had to drive an hour to a different location to get the vehicle. When I called to arrange pick up, we agreed on 11:30. I arrived before 11:30 and nobody was there until after 12. I still had to drive an hour home, pack the truck the rest of the afternoon.
Nathan DIdiot gave the rental truck to an old woman and left me high and dry. Wasted 3 hours of time.

BRUCE BI knew that the facility would not be open. I did everything online ahead of time to be ready. I Could not get online system to work properly and was at the location for over one hour!!!! I talked on the phone to 5 different people at UHaul. It was a horrible experience. Finally, a representative ended up verifying my identity and told me the code to the key box. All this time I was paying people waiting to load the truck.
