The guy who helped us went above and beyond to absolutely save the day for us. I can't remember his name right now (my gut tells me Brandon) but he was extremely helpful and the whole process was wonderful. Our reservation with another company was a nightmare that left us scrambling to find a road worthy truck and trailer to help our 80 year old aunt move. The total time from internet inquiry to finding the set up we need was less than an hour The actual vehicle handled the journey without any hiccups. It was very road worthy. The whole snellville crew deserves the upmost praise and recognition. Give them raises stock options and a pizza party. They truly went above and beyond to save the day.

My big problem with this place is that it is almost impossible to get in and out of the lot. Plus the lot is so full you can barely park or turn around. There are other close locations that are easier to navigate. Service was great!

I had a very long wait getting my trailer due to issues with another's customers trailer which delayed me for all of my appointments for the day. They were apologetic and I appreciate that. Would have liked to check out faster as well.

The process was quick and easy. I was processed by the assistant manager, which was really nice and professional. The store was clean and cluster free. The guy that shows you the equipment was really nice he has a ginger color beard. He was really nice as well. Overall I'm pleased. Even the return was easy.

Nothing that i could suggest, Brannon did a Great job. Quick install, about 2 hours. Looks very clean, he even took time to show what he did and how the wires were hooked up under the car in case there is a problem in the future, which there shouldn't be. I've never had issues with my other vehicles U-Haul installed the same on. Went over all warranty information. - 2024 Grand Highlander. All staff is very Professional/knowledgeable and easily approachable.

The store clerk was rude and very unhelpful after standing in line for 15 minutes I get to the desk and he starts looking up my reservation and then he stopped to help another customer during my transaction. Then he helped him then came back to me and we completed the transaction he gave me zero instructions zero directions of where to find the truck nor did he give me my truck number. I had to download my rental agreement to find out the truck information and then ask random strangers in the lot to help me find my truck once I found the truck it had another truck behind it that had to be moved. Then I get in the truck there are no keys once again I had to ask the cashier where the keys were and he told me to look at my contract to see where the keys where and it was nowhere on my contract so I went hunting around the lot for help again. Then to no avail I had to go back to talk to the jerk at the front desk just to find out spaghetti brains had the key in his pocket. Mind you the entire time for waiting and leaving was an hour and 10 minutes also I was and hour 10 minutes late getting to my movers. I would pick zero stars. The cashier is going to keep costing you business he needs to go immediately! I've never had such horrendous treatment at a Uhaul in my entire existence. I will never return and I'll make sure my friends and family won't have to deal with this man child diva with an attitude. He really tried my patience and I'm grateful I kept it together bcuz he deserved a piece of my mind!

Hard to rate location as a whole. Physically the location is horrible. Way too cramped and no clear area for pickup or drop off. And though it's not the fault of uhaul, any business on that scenic hwy is a nightmare to get into, and a crapshoot to safely get out of, especially with a trailer. However, the employees I was in contact with at the location were awesome. Very nice, attentive, helpful, and the biggest thing that stuck out to me, they weren't lazy workers! More and more these days workers seem lazy and unwilling to do anything but bare minimum. It was a hot, muggy, busy day, but they both would immediately go outside to help each other in politely asking other customers to move their vehicles they just parked anywhere and everywhere. They were able to do it while somehow making people happy to do it! I've owned a few business and that customer service ability is incredibly hard to find. The entire app process to return the trailer is garbage. With rules on it as to where NOT to park it, you'd assume there would be a place marked TO park once in the lot. There were returned trucks parked everywhere, making it incredibly difficult to move around in the lot to locate a spot and then get an angle to back the trailer in safely. I've driven a tractor trailer for 15 years all over the country and been a cdl instructor, and I even had a pretty difficult go at getting the trailer dropped. Maybe better lighting would even help a pretty good bit, as it's lit just enough in random areas that create huge shadows from the trucks everywhere. After finally achieving the trailer drop off, I left, exhausted after a long day of work and then hauling a car and finally that stressful lot at midnight! I had to immediately turn around and go back to the lot when I picked up my phone and realized the next "step" on the next page on the uhaul app was up and telling me to take pictures from all sides!? I get it, but again, definitely not enough light to safely walk all around the unit and get a shot of all sides. Got giant gouge in my shin from the trailer parked next to it to prove it! Location....not great. Employees, do what you need to do to keep them!

I met a rude arrogant undeserving of representing u-haul employee by the name MAURICE SLAUGHTER. He insulted me simply because I mentioned I put in the vehicle more gas than the level when I picked up the truck. He replied saying ""That's on you, there's nothing I can do for you on that. He then rudely walked away when I was still talking to him. Upon coming back 2 minutes later claimed that gas level is not up to the level it is supposed to be, I then asked if I can go see for myself, be said I already closed it out, and receipt will be send to my email. Upon checking my email I saw all sorts of charges to my card almost $300. All I owe is 48 hrs which is $29 plus $29 in addition to 130 miles ( each mile is $1,09).

Not sure why the many negative reviews. But I can say that if you treat those that are there to serve you, with respect, they will reciprocate. Some may not see it that way, but then perhaps that may be just the thing that needs to change. Indeed, we run into people that are employed in a customer service position, yet they may lack the training that's needed/required. Our kindness and respect may make the greatest impact in their life in what they are doing.

I have been charged twice and can’t get anyone to tell me why.. the storage size online doesn’t match the storage size at the facility.. there is only limited space for loading and unloading..

My experience was wonderful! I went to pick up on Sunday evening, which happened to been a very busy time due to the store about to close for the day, but I do have to say that the staff was very quick very respectful and responsive! Brandon assisted me with attaching the trailer onto my truck, and he also targeted a couple things that I needed to do before, pulling off the lot to assure safety in carrying the trailer. Whenever I return back the trailer, Brandon was there to greet me and he also assisting me in backing up the trailer into a spot. I was very appreciative for Brandon's assistance. Overall, my experience was very satisfying, and I would most definitely recommend this Location to anyone whom I may know that needs to rent a U-Haul!

The truck was clean but there was a loud rattling noise from underneath that felt like something was going to come off while driving. It didn't appear well maintained or safe. The customer service was good. It was quick and convenient while checking out at the counter. I was in and out within 10 minutes. I expected for the rental truck without having any mechanical issues.

I normally rental a trailer but this project needed something bigger for a truck with a dashboard like a Christmas tree. At first when leaving it was only tire needed air- employee said it was okay. Later on my day the brakes service also was on and to add on then the ac would work at its convenience. Unfortunately this was not the best experience.

This parking lot can get a bit cramped, but the people here are usually on top of things and do their best to balance efficiency with giving people the time they need to resolve any issues (payments not going through, finding contracts, etc). It's always good to work with these guys.

When I returned the truck I was amazed at the fact that the check out was done where the truck was returned, it really streamlined the check out . The attendant was professional and very polite.

I was charged for gas when I returned it at the same level. I was told everything was good, not until later was I told it was not at same level. I drove the truck for 44 miles, i put in over 5 gallons of gas. I was billed for 4 more gallons. 9 gallons to drive 44 miles, sad!

The trailer had obviously had gasoline spilled in it and had a dirty rag in one corner While it looked clean, it certainly did not smell clean.

The only thing that I had a problem with is when I lost my key to. Lock that I got from them I was told I would have to come back the next day for them to cut it off also I would have to pay for it to get done .

It could be a little better you have homeless people hanging around not knowing if there doing anything out of the ordinary like breaking an entering.

The manager was not nice or helpful. I was told by the agent over the phone that I could have a few extra days to remove my things without being charged. When I got to the physical location, the worker there was willing to let me pick my things up as well without being charged being that it was a few days after my due date. After he attempted to clear it with the manager, the manager came in looking angry and said absolutely not. He didn't care what I was told by the agent over the phone, he wasn't going to honor it. At the same time I'm attempting to save money being that I just paid a security deposit, first month rent, utilities & a uhaul, he refused to be remotely sympathetic and was actually really rude. He made a bad situation, worse.

I would have given an excellent rating unfortunately I am going to give an average rating. This all boils down to disposal of trash, this particular facility doesn't have an adequate means for storage unit customers to dispose of trash. The receptacle that is provided is located in proximity to their maintenance area where they work on their equipment (the receptacle itself is quite small as well). On top of that there is an inconvenience fee that's charged of $10 dollars in order to use it. Plus there's also a fine of $100 that's charged for disposal of trash that's deemed unacceptable (what is U-Haul's definition of unacceptable trash to be dumped in your small trash receptacle?) As far as the trash I left inside of my storage unit, it was advised to me by Mr. Guerrero (general manager) that I would be charged $25 dollars per item for the removal of the trash that was left behind. The trash in the unit was organized in a manner that would make it easy for removal out of the unit. Mr. Guerrero further explained after I showed him a picture of the trash that was left behind in the storage unit the estimated total of removal of trash would be between $800 to $1 000 dollars which to penalize a customer who left trash in the unit in an organized manner for your personnel to clean out to me is a bit outrageous. Another reason why I'm leaving an average rating is due to the fact the monthly rate for a fourth time is going up on the unit. Originally when I had rented the unit back on March 10, 2021 the monthly rate was below $100 dollars which was very much reasonable and with in my budget. The previous monthly rate increase to $114,95 and now had I kept the unit beyond the move out date of November 7, 2024 and past the December 7, 2024 which the rate is increasing to $119,95 is sending customers the message that it's not viable to keep a storage unit at your facility especially those customers who rent 5x10x11 storage units. U-Haul is a large company with worldwide presence just as much worldwide presence as Walmart, in order to keep customers like myself happy would be to give instead of take. Give us a designated area closer towards the storage units for us to be able to discard trash our trash as opposed to making us pay money to use the trash receptacle ($10 in todays world can make or break somebody) Other than what I've stated in my comments, I was very happy with the service that was provided. Mr. Guerrero is an amazing General Manager of this facility and the staff is very friendly and professional.

This u haul facility charge me to much money on my account and try to tell me that because of 5 days late and another 10 day late 15 each time then on top of that 50 for something else over all I paid 154 which is 80 over my expenses when I pay 75 a month and if I was late I paid Extra every month. This is not right I m going to report them over charge people for there money. I paid every month I move my stuff out when he tried telling me l was locked out when NO lock was on it Crooks here.

The only comment I have is that the staff and facility were great. We rented the storage unit 5 x 10 and was surprised to see that that storage unit had a post on the side of it which really caused us to lose about a foot of storage space. My personal feeling is that it suited our needs however because you lose that foot of space that should not rent for the same rate as another 5 x 10 that would not have that post.

No lock was in unit, had to buy one after being told on app that there would be a free one. Moved out on the 8th of November and was charged on 11/10/2 022 114,95 ! Have.been trying to get my unauthorized payment back since then ! Not heard from GM regarding this matter. I needed a 10x10 unit instead of the 5x10 and was told in the morning there were no larger units available. I checked back later that day with a different person at the front desk and he was able to get me a 10x10 unit after I had already moved into the smaller unit and found that my things would not fit. Also, a 10x10 unit should be recommended for a 6x12 trailer and not a 5x10 unit.

Furniture was inside my assigned unit,and we had to remove it to avoid getting caught in the rain. Move was scheduled and we needed to get started.

No lights, climate control above 90 degrees and I ended up with rats in my unit losing my furniture clothes blankets, memories that I can never replace and many other things. I am by no means happy. I had my things in there for over 4 years!

My selection to #4 was for NOT helpful. Prior to moving out I called to get assistance with a truck rental to move my items. Haley provided phone assistance to me however based on her recommendation for a truck, I had to make multiple trips. This not only caused me additional fees, it cost me time and other costs due to multiple trips. I was unable to get a larger truck at the time because of her lack of knowledge. Employees should be aware of the customers needs, particularly if we, the customer relies on their expertise for assistance.

They kept increasing my rent for my storage every couple of months. And everytime I called trying to speak to the manager, he was never there. I even left messages for him to call back and he never did. I've dealt with many U-haul locations from Florida to Georgia and this location left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

The layout of the parking area is designed in such a way that it prevents people from having the sufficient space to maneuver their vehicles for loading/unloading. The staff was neither rude nor welcoming but somewhere in between. They interact with customers with indifference.

I know this will probably not be acknowledged but some serious training needs to be administered ASAP. I started renting here about 2008 so it's been 13 years. Over that time this facility has changed from being clean and well run to being dirty (especially at the loading dock). There is also a stink inside the facility that covers about 1/3 of the downstairs which has been present at least for the past 4-5 months. Something is inside one of the units that indicates decay of some type. The managers don't seem to be concerned. I was also promised security to the facility in the beginning, but that no longer applies. The door is always open and my access card is no longer needed. Access to the loading dock is usually limited to only one vehicle on the steep side because U-Haul trucks are parked too close to allow a second vehicle to back up to the dock. It's a bad situation to need to be there and not be able to pull a vehicle close. The high tent installed to accommodate returning rented trucks is too close to the turning point where you need to circle near the loading dock. If a vehicle is parked in one of the spaces on the corner of the loading dock, it makes it nearly impossible to pull a pickup truck through. Bottom line is this is a poorly run, badly maintained, and improperly designed facility. I would not rent here again. There are several other options in the area which are all better.

Since 1986 I've been a member of U-Haul I have always had Exceptionable help From any U-Haul storage employee. I have been able to save my things in U-Haul storage and they have always been courteous on the phone or in person I really appreciate everything Uhaul storage does for me thank you so much and I will use you in the future.

The staff was not helpful when I needed assistance. I needed to contact the main office for an issue and the staff did not help me at all. 3 of them sat behind the desk and did nothing. I always use u haul, but this made me want to go elsewhere. I will not use this experience to make that call but this was the worst customer service I have had I a while.

The young man who reserved my unit was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, the young lady who checked me in was indifferent, unfriendly and unengaging. She neither smiled nor thanked me for my service. Additionally the office area is much too cluttered and hazardous and the loading dock platform had jagged something or other hanging around the edge in some areas and there were loose rocks in the parking lot near the front, which one of my helpers almost tripped over. These issues lower the rating considerably for my experience and made me reconsider using the more professional, safer, and convenient higher priced Extra Storage Space.

Rodrigo (Mgr) and his entire team was amazing while I had my unit there for almost two years. Rodrigo went above and beyond for me and my family after we lost everything been owned in a apartment fire... I can not thank him enough, you never where or who you're blessing will come from or though. Be kind, be grateful, be compassionate their is someone going through something worse than you are. So, I sincerely thank Rodrigo and his team for a job well done.

I don't trust your auto pay system … I have been charged late fees when funds were in my account for the month of July! I now will call every month to make sure it is done correctly! Note this just happened for the month of July check may history

We were told that we would receive a prorated reimbursement due to moving out at the end of the month but not getting to the facility to turn in the card before the next draft occurred. Now, a manager is saying that's not how things work but the representative confirmed that he told us this. The location is secure but my gosh, it smells like a dead animal in there. DNR

There was a time where I felt they could have waived the late fees as a courtesy, and they refused. In today's economy anything helps.

The billing and communication is not what i expected. I would not recommend based on that since everywhere you look a new storage cluster is being built.

I just didn’t like that it took them a week and change to realize I moved out my unit & tried to charge me plus added a late fee .

No place to park. All the workers cars were blocking the loading docks. That made it very very difficult to load a 10-ft truck.. Also no one showed us were our storage room was. They just gave me a piece of paper and highlighted it.

The second unit - which I had booked online - had no lock inside as promised according to the rep. When I went to the office, I realized I needed an additional (3rd) unit. The rep decided it was more important for her to sell me my third unit and THEN charge me for a lock, rather than to inform me that I would get a free lock if I stood there and booked the unit online. She knew it and decided not to give me that option. Even when I mentioned it after the sale. Bad business.

Just about every time i went into this storage place it smelled like a dead rat. i'm not sure what is being done about that but the smell is enough to make you want to puke. the staff are very nice however i didnt appreciate knowing there was a possibility mice were running through my things. i had the wings of a dead cockroach when i removed my things from storage. that did it for me. :(

It smelled like something rotten by the enterence. The u-haul truck I rented was in bad shape. Broken side mirror and attached with a duct tape and that is a security concern. I brought it up to one of the employee. He was a nice guy and took care of it right away.

I moved from New York in 2004. I had 3 storage units. I had a hard time financially but was able to maintaine my storage units. After almost 17 years of storage I decided to clear out the units and go through my stuff and be a blessing to someone. Thank you for securing my belongings all these years.

If there were a star rating below 1 I will rate it as that. This storage facility have no type of loading and unloading space. Every time I went there were no parking, there was always an odor very horrible, it smelled like death. The employees there seem to be all young and playful (speaking only on the young ladies). I will never deal with U-Haul storage again...

Called in to get 10x15 - said they had one. Get there and they only have 2 10x10s so I rent both. Get up to the units and they're both 5x10s - this was a Monumental waste of time!

Easy in and easy out no issues even if I was late on my payment they were never rude and I respect that this crisis has people unable to pay on time not because they are irresponsible but because there is no money at times.

only comment is that the area to move trucks around is pretty tight for a novice.

The only thing was, some guys called me to ask, if I had two storage units. I said yes but when I came back to the storage, they had cut off my lock, and nothing was on my unit 1605. Thank goodness nothing was missing. But that was a big time error!!!! They removed my lock and did not replace it. I told them that I had the two units? Big Mistake!!!!

Only hiccup was moving out and not having 24 hour access that I paid for immediately available to me which caused me to have to pay for a extra day for movers and truck.

Georgia location was great but when I picked up my U-Haul truck and Virginia it was horrible they did not charge for the hitch they put the wrong name on my account thenI had to come out of more money the experience was the worst I've ever imagined I did not like the fact that I had to pick up the U-Haul in one spot and go all the way across town to pick up the hitch I hope no one never have to experience the Heartbreak that the stress level that I experienced during my move.

Loading/Unloading dock at the perfect height. The furniture carts incredibly helpful and convenient. The facilities immaculately clean. The elevator conveniently located and a great size. Great experience!

The morning staff ladies and gentleman were pleasant and eager to help. The afternoon crew seemed bothered and short tempered. I had to call customer service just to get an answer to a general question because the guy who checked me out was irritated and dismissive. I won't use this facility again.
