Hello I have been in a serious situation where after over 3 years of having my storage I temporarily could not pay. I am looking for help in retaining my personal property which means the world to me. This is not a way that a customer who has paid your company thousands of dollars deserves to be treated. I cut ties because every year my rent was increased and I been there for years . I missed the payment and y'all made money off of me because of late fees every month for at least 3 years but still increased my rent

This location has an outstanding customer service. with very pleasant staff that consistently greet you with a warm smile and always make time to listen to what you have to say. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend uhaul to anyone. You allowed the furniture that I paid the uhaul for and moved in the unit with my sons and Matthew get auctioned off because you wouldn't let me pay for it to get out because of a wife that wasn't on the lease at all and had no rights to anything. My daughter really wanted that furniture for her apartment, it was the only stuff left that she had that was her fathers the wife wouldn't even give her a sweater or anything to remember what he smelled like .sentimental things can't be replaced and are priceless . Do BETTER UHAUL . My name was on that unit and Matthew passed away I should've been able to empty the unit when I wanted to . I pray nobody else is put in this situation due to your poor judgment

Usually good experience, bu tthis time, the U-haul computer reservation system was down and messed up my whole day. Pathetic for a large company. No warning. I used the app and it looked normal but when I got to the location, the manager could not rent anything. No notice that the system was down. Must have messed up your agent big time/ Looking for alternatives next time. U-Haul should offer compensation.

The gentleman that helped me Saturday afternoon at the Rockdale Ave location was so sweet. He was very humble and made the transaction very easy. I was having a hectic day and needed a truck last minute. I swear when I went in there and interacted with him my whole mood changed. I dont remember his name but he was an older blk man with glasses. He reminded me of one of my very favorite uncles that passed when I was younger. 

I had my stuff there for 2years and had the biggest storage unit on 1st floor #1207 1 storage away from.the Climate control and all my stuff got mold and ruined ! I had to hiring a cleaning service to clean out my storage and had to get rid of so much stuff I was heart broken I tried to put a claim in and they did absolutely nothing for me because I had no insurance  Memories photos dresser's mattress two Ac's about five bags of kid clothes baby crib baby mattress a lot of unopened stuff in toys about 3 bags of shoes jewelry box ,$2000 drum set ! movies a fan An automan , a lot of comforters and sheets! I sped $6 782 for basically nothing I got to save a few things but not those ! So be careful even if you haven't insurance.The guy did say they don't like to pay out.Though just make up an excuse and say you moved it in the rain ! Which is silly cuz I would I move in the rain !

The rate increased 3 times in 1,5 years. Don't know why but was once told pest control. Pest control should be standard for storage facility & done on a regular basis. Also should not be the responsibility of the customer to pay for it.

Person running this location had ZERO customer service skills. After waiting 6 minutes to be "verified" via the app check in process I asked if he could just do it. I was rudely told to "just be patient" and that it would take some time but eventually go through and that he couldn't check me in any other way. I asked if this was a new process, as every other uhaul place just takes my license, taps a few keys on the keyboard, and has me on my way. "Calm down, it will go through eventually" he said. Finally is goes through and tells me to find the truck. I ask for the keys, "follow the directions" he snaps. I go to open door and he snaps, "you don't need to go outside, just follow the directions in the app." - that's what i was doing... The entire encounter was beyond frustrating and disrespectful. 9 minute process start to verification is unacceptable. I got there at 350pm for a 4pm appt and finally started truck to leave at 4:07pm - 17min to check in??? Will never rent from this location again, and in fact, may just go to penske next time.

Lorenzo was very rude. He stated things that were inaccurate and did not act in a respectable manner. I had the truck back within 24 hours and he proceeded to charge for an additional day. When we picked up the truck, the vehicle had a lock on it that we were unable to unlock. We had to spend over an hour traveling to go back to the store and have it unlocked after applying a generous amount of wd-40. I do not appreciate being pressured by Lorenzo instantly upon arrival to the store, as well as being called at 7 in the morning on a Saturday.

Recieved truck on empty they guy marked it with a pen at pick up on contract and inicial and this guy was trying to charge me and didnt allow my service dog in the office or lobby wich i yelled at him and told him it was federal so he says he's afraid and then he says he was alergic to dogs well thats not my problem..,he was rude there's a little more to the story but i will stip,,the experience was just uncalled for and horrible.!!

Compared to other Uhaul locations regarding self storage the customer service was very good. Great instructions. The counter person however was a little difficult to work with. Abrupt. Looking down as he spoke. We didn't have our ducks in a row so understandably it was a difficult service. We weren't use to such a specific not so flexible process. But we're good

No bathroom facilities open in the morning, unless and until the office is open, after 9 o'clock. Access is from 6am to 10pm the bathroom should be open during those hours. Customers shouldn't have to leave to go home or elsewhere to use the bathroom.

Highly recommended! Clean, well lit, secure access. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Prices for temperature controlled space is the lowest in the area. If the bathroom facility were available during all hours (not just office hours) it would be perfect - but then some storage facilities don't have bathrooms at all!

the facility was not well kept. Dirty bathrooms, dirty elevator. mice dropping's and urine on some if my clothing and belongings that were in bags and boxes. mice got everywhere even though there was micr trap inside my unit

I've used this facility for many years and this last year horrible. Things in my unit were stolen district manager was rude and sarcastic didn't want to help. There's cameras everywhere but he said no. No daily walkthroughs apparently because the stuff was stolen and no help. The general manager was a very nice man. I left put in for my unit to be canceled and your company still took out a month rent. I'm on disability and taking out 120$ is big to me. I am so disappointed in this facility and the fact no one has gotten back to me about my money being returned

Units are overrun with cockroaches and pests. Homeless people are living in units and prostitutes are running their business there. The place is an absolute nightmare and even though it was brought to the attention of the people working there, nothing was done.

My unit was on the fourth floor and the wood section of the floor is in terrible shape! It's a rumble strip making it extremely difficult to push a cart without having to pickup items that inevitably fall off. It's really bad but the customer service was extremely kind and helpful.

I answered staff not helpful due to all the issues this past year that I have had with UHaul. Unfortunately it was not until 2 days before my move out that I finally spoke to a representatgive on the phone that has put in a complaint and will be having someone call me. That being said Jen and Amber who I dealt with on my last weekend of having the storage were great. The problem has been management there before and the horrendous treatment by customer service and the third party billing company that screwed up my account and then forced me to pay to prevent a lock out when they were holding my checks and cashing them late. I have been trying for a year to deal with the billing issues to no avail and told I cannot talk to the billing company and customer service was horrendous and would not give me any way to put in a formal complaint of all the disrespect I have received. It was not until the Friday before my move out that I got a rep who actually helped and put in a complaint and is having the gentleman from the complaint department contact me. I will never ever due business w/UHaul again. I have never in my life experience such horrendous customer service and disrespect from any company I have ever done business with throughout my life. I have no words to truly express how bad it has been. So my rating for Uhaul would be less than the poor rating if it were possible to give a lower rating. AGain this has nothing to do with Jenn or AMber that I dealt with on my last weekend. But prior to them - the office staff was an issue and the customer service. Scott was the last manager at the branch location that was a good manager.

I didn't complain when you raised my rent twice in one year or the times when I wasn't notified of the raised rent--I was here before U-Haul --I pay before, or on time & this is the thanks I get so now, you can raise someone else's rent ! Parking is a constant issue. Had two vehicles blocking the driveway, one unloading items partially blocking the unloading area, and as I left, one person directly in front of the loading door. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.

Reasonably Priced Storage Facility! Very Clean, and smells clean every time I step foot into the building. Office Staff was courteous, very helpful and friendly. My only issue will be the lack of carts at certain given times of the day. Also can not use the garage door after hours, as it is locked. At the end of the day, I am pleased and my items are stored safely.

The staff on duty was very rude he also didn’t tell me the elevator was out of service where he said hope you don’t got a lot of stuff didn’t show me were the stair case was I went in and asked for a refund for my money back where I didn’t want the unit anymore it was too much of a hassle he said he didn’t know how to do the refund he’s only been there for 8 months when he said he thinks he figured it out he said my money will be back on my card in a little awhile I took that as a hour or two when I didn’t get the money on my card back right away he said a little awhile means a week I will be calling in a week to make sure my moneys back on my card since I did not keep the unit more than 10 minutes he was very rude and did not specify his name when I asked

I complained twice about mice being found in my unit. One dead mouse in the unit and one in the hall. Yesterday I went to clean out my unit and there was mice feces all over my mattress. The mice ate holes in my mattress!! Total loss. I'm so grossed out I have to get ride of anything fabric in that unit. I had that unit for six months and it's contents are a total loss. When I complained I was told to call cooperate. What a waste of six bucks! I now have to buy a new bed. Disgusted.

Was misinformed and had to pick up a truck 20 miles outside of where I lived, even though I was able to book online in my city. I had to pay for the extra 40 miles and was not able to resolve issue.

We stored our things for two years, Recently moved out, facility is clean, secure and gated, management and team are friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend my friends and family.
