Logan GEveryone was efficient and quick, my only complaint is that there was no customer service, nobody said hello or how how are you. No smiles or being friendly. The manager jason was ok but seemed in a bad mood maybe? The truck was great!
BRAD VI lost 30 minutes of my paid time just picking up the vehicle, I drove the truck 14 miles and somehow had to put 10 gallons ($47,87) in the truck just to get the gauge back to the “contract level” and was thoroughly dissatisfied with the entire process.

KAYLI GJason Santos was extremely rude and disrespectful to multiple customers including myself during my visit. He blatantly lied to my face. I attempted to rent a van and without even checking the computer or inventory he said we don't have any. I politely said I have it pulled up online and it's allowing me to book a reservation but I wanted to do it in person. He said if you do that it'll be sent to another location because we don't have any. I asked him where to and he said he didn't know. He did not offer any assistance. Was very condescending and didn't make eye contact once. I proceeded to move forward with the online reservation and within about 2 minutes I had a truck reserved. I got back in line and magically they had one that had "just been returned". I'd hope this person isn't representative of uhauls standards for employees. He is costing the company money because of his pure laziness and unwillingness to help. I reached out to company president Chris via text but have not received a response. When asked there how to file a formal complaint I was not provided with a way to do so.

DAN CPerpetually understaffed causing very long wait times. Have seen customers leaving visibly frustrated or outright angry and/or yelling about their own dissatisfaction about these things on at least 3 occasions. I have also been very upset about it on several occasions. This is the busy season and that must be taken into account by the upper management that dictates how many labor hours each location can accrue. It's a college town! Expect it to be busy! You're losing customers left and right over this. Don't let corporate greed ruin this service! The service is there to serve the customers, not just to serve the bank account of the CEO nor the company's investors, whatever the upper end case may be.

AAUTUMN B | Premières impressionsWhen moving last thing yiu should have to worry about is making another stop for gas. The tank should of been full from last return. Husband had no sun visor and had sun in his eyes while driving this is a safety issue Not happy.
TAMMY BI had an appointment to pick up a truck at 10AM, but was forced to wait until 10:45 because of a long line and 1 employee working, putting my moving time off and costing me more money with movers. This was with mobile pick up, so this is absolutely inexcusable. The truck drop-off was great, however.

ROBERT AMy decision to use U-Box (only 1 necessary) served several purposes, 1) I had very little possessions to move which would have required a smaller trailer, which would have required installing a trailer hitch to my little Ford Fiesta 2) My little Ford Fiesta has a difficult enough time with the mountain passes, towing anything would have been nearly impossible 3) Winter weather was a bit of a nightmare as it was without a trailer. 4) If I had not used a U-Box, getting my vehicle to my final destination would have required a small truck with tow capability.... see all reasons above for reasons this is NOT viable. Thank you U-Haul for making the U-Box option available!
bruce sLooking like you are trying to improve the services to put more money into the greedy business by placing a $20 after hour service fee. I've never had to pay this fee before. And if it's not removed from my credit card, I'll be doing my business somewhere else.

CLEMENTE LHorrible experience with the support at this location. Got my total of $190, handed the person cash and was told "oh hey sorry with cash it's actually $290". No explanation given. When I asked to split it because I wasn't planning to spend that much given my estimated total wasn't even close to that, the man helping was condescending when he told me he'd "wait" for me to "go put more money on a card". Overall, paid in card to avoid the extra $100 fee for cash. This is extremely disappointing given no where charges THAT much more to pay cash. Horrible experience and will not be using this location again and will be sure to share my experience with others.

SHERI JI couldn't get the seat moved up, so very difficult to drive, the door would not shut properly, the window handle know kept falling off the were several small cracks in window. When I brought it to the attention of the person at the U-haul, I mentioned I had called customer support. Customer support said I had to call towing dispatch (which I didn't need) Towing dispatch told me I needed to call customer service, and when I check back in the equipment be sure to explain and let the person know about the problems. When I checked in and tried to explain, the guy bit my head off and said WELL you SHOULD have turned around and came back to report it. I explained I had no time to turn around since I was on a time limit and wouldn't have time before dark to get my stuff out of storage. I asked him to stop being rude to me and that I felt maybe I should have some miles deducted for my inconvenience. He said NO. You should have reported it when you left. I said I did, I called customer service when I got a chance, but was pushed of and then told to tell you. Needless to say we didn't get anywhere. The truck was a piece of crap! I could barely reach the peddles because the seat wasn't moving up.

AMY SThe truck was given to me with little to no fuel so I had to go out of my way to fuel it up before I even began moving my furniture. Then when I opened the back, it reeked of weed. I didn't have a choice but use what I had. Got my furniture moved and all my belongings ended up smelling like weed. It was an expensive terrible experience.

BRIAN LI only had the unit for 3 1/2 months and when I moved out I had to throw away a lot of my stuff. A lot of my items had mold on them. And I had to get rid of a bags of clothes blankets and a few kid rugs due to dead mice inside of my stuff. I was very dissatisfied with my experience at this U-Haul. And to make things worse for the last month or so I had to go only when the store was open, because they never fixed the outside login issue. I asked every time I went if it was fix or when they were getting it fixed. Every time they said they didn't know. As of 1/28/2025 it's still not working !! Not everyone can only go between the hours of 7am and 7pm I like that I could acess from 5am-10pm.

So the next day I got dropped off from Chico, Ca to Roseville U-Haul to find out They gave away my truck and had to give me a ride to a different uhaul store were I was told had the truck I needed but didn't. The only thing they had was a 20 foot truck which I felt forced to take. And Now it would be $164 and still would have to take it to Uba city. I had to make 2 trips instead of one which took another 2days plus all the gas....it was a complete nightmare and cost me soooooo much money I did not plan for.

Also when I rented the car trailer- a cheerful and capable young lady hooked the whole thing up to my pickup for me, and went through the safety check. When I returned it later I didn't even get out of the truck! Chico uhaul is top notch.

There are two locations at the site. All this being said, they did their best to assist me. I think the confusion is that I reserved the space online and not at the desk. They also shared that sometimes a space can be double-booked, although this did not happen to me.

However, the phone number to get a hold of U-Haul's customer service and/or to pay my monthly bill had very long wait times that lasted over an hour sometimes. U-haul needs to revamp their customer service line, in order to drastically reduce the wait time over the phone.

Was never offered any discounts or refunds for any of my inconveniences, which were many, and caused hours and hours of delay in moving. Because of lack of organization and communication I had to rent two units instead of one, which were completely across the entire storage facility making it even more inconvenient when moving and organizing my items.
Olivia F | Expérience généraleThe first I had was a rented cargo van totally dirty outside mud on lower half and inside both seats had long dog hair he said there was quarter tank of gas so I got in drive it down to first light smelling strong gas inside when the light and alarm told me I was low on gas stopped down at tower market on park and fair put 35 dollars in almost 9 galsdrove to old mall on east ave then home 1st ave west and tank was on saying I was empty. Next day got in van drove down towards the esplanade when the voice and alarm said i was low on gas. So i drove back to the uhaul place was told they just fix the gas leak will it wasnt fixed ask what they could do for me about the thirty five dollars I put in gas said I'll have to sendin that I did and what happen and I ended up with a 3/4 truck and everything was a lot better.is there anyway I can keep the truck tell mon could do hardly nothing the first two days with all the problems .please let me know thank you kathy toledo 5303212964 Toledo1932@gmail.com

Bronson said that there were supposed to be two units inside that were going to be emptied that day or the next and that he would keep my reservation open and call me as soon as they were available. I got a call that afternoon and was able to take care of the check in over the phone. I really appreciated the extra time that Bronson spent to make sure that I got a nice unit! I will always recommend this U-Haul for any moving or storage needs! Great people and pleasant experience!!
