If I could have given a 0 I would have. I recently moved to Phoenix so I don't have any help or family there. I flew into New Mexico on a Thursday to pick up a U-Haul on a Friday, load it up, drive to Phoenix on Saturday and unload it on Sunday (very tight schedules). You can make sure the U-Haul is available at the time and location that it was reserved for. I had a truck reserved at 8:00am. I received a call the day before that it wouldn't be ready until 10:00 am. I had reserved moving help on your website at 9:00am, I had to rearrange them to 11:00. Then when I was getting ready to pick it up I received a call that the customer that was returning the truck that I was going to use decided to return the truck in different city 60 miles away and that he was ok with paying the extra fee. They offered no help to get this to me just kept apologizing. After having to beg and inconvenience some one to take me 60 miles to pick up the truck, there wasn't a truck available until after 11:00am and it wasn't a person moving it was a local moving company that was using the truck. So I was lied to about why I didn't have a truck at the local dealership that I originally set up. The regional manager was no help and quite condescending, only apologizing knowing that he was lying about why a truck wasn't available. We drove by another dealership and there were 4-5 trucks of the same size that I reserved.

The staff here was wonderful. The problem is the LOCATION...absolutely the worst in Albuquerque. Crime, vagrants wandering the lot, open drug use, etc. Customers are not safe here.

I went to the store and rent a trailer and then when I take that trailer back the place changed me k$32 more because tell me they have to clean it up the trailer to me The trailer was clean same thing when I got it. Very bad service the person that help me with the service not a good employee zero stars for the employee bad customer service I don recommend this store because the service is no good this employee scamm me Scammer store if you don't want to lose you money because this people it's going to charge you for another service don't go to this store go find another store I lose 32 more dollars for nothing. They stole my money I called customer service to file a complaint they don't want to do anything so I lose my money no good I don't recommend this store. I give zero stars I want my money back because these people stolen my money.

This location was surrounded by the unhoused population that is rampant in Albuquerque. I understand that it's no fault of the company when the unhoused are simply everywhere, but it does make any transaction process in this neighborhood a little scary. I didn't want to park my personal vehicle to go into the building because of the sheer number of unhoused individuals milling around the parking lot. The gentleman inside indicated that this was a cashless operation because of the neighborhood. Wow. Good choice. The gentleman also indicated that we had to wait for the truck to be unlocked before we could depart because if the truck beds were left unlocked, the unhoused population would start fires in the trucks! Sheesh! That's not safe! I hope that the company is providing hazard pay to the individuals in this location. It's definitely not anywhere I would want to work.

Not very friendly. At least give a greeting. The younger boys were just as bad. Not very informative on the paperwork. Just hand in your key and you done. Well email you. I had to ask for a copy of my receipt.

The employees at this location were just fine in terms of kindness and professionalism. However, I reserved my truck ahead of time and it took quite some time to check out the vehicle. In the future, I would prefer to do the auto checkout since I didn't save time. Upon getting my truck, the cab had a strong odor of trash; given that I needed to move, I did not return for another truck. The vehicle was ostensibly clean, but, wow, did it smell. The truck iteself seemed in poor repair (dripping a liquid, very poor acceleration).

The guys at the Central location were great. Excellent customer service, with senses of humor to boot. Cargo van was easy to drive. The rubber mat on the cargo area floor is a great innovation. I was also really impressed by the gas mileage (around 20 mpg, most at highway speeds around 75 mph). One final cool thing: Whether it was the person who checked me out in the morning or U-Haul's software, it switched me from the $19,95/day plus $.79/mile that I signed up for to $89/day plus 100 free miles plus $.49/mile over 100 when I said that I was planning on driving 120 miles. Saved me some money. Very honest. (Breakeven point was around 87 miles apparently.) Thanks U-Haul!

Provide a more accurate description of the equipment. The trailer I rented was for extremely heavy loads! I worked at it while towing it! Could have used a liter duty trailer!

The truck only had a half tank of gas when we picked it up. It broke down outside of Amarillo TX , day two of a three day trip. We ended up have to swap trucks and lost a whole day waiting for the issue to be resolved. Horrible experience!!!

Dirty needles outside my unit. Unit was broken into and no surveillance was provided. Homeless inside the lot area. Honestly, it's a miracle that the safe move and safe store insurance even allows us place to operate the way it does.

Have all of the equipment that was reserved by your customer. I say I wouldn't recommend this location, I'm actually saying I would t recommend uhaul. I'm pretty livid about my experience…first I'm moved from the location closest to my house to a location 10 miles away…both ways and I HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT MILEAGE!! Next…I reserved an appliance dolly…not one in the entire city of Albuquerque…unbelievable!!!!!!! Next…I took a truck with have a tank of gas and when I bring the truck back you all want to charge $18 for gas after I only put 32 miles on the truck…SERIOUSLY!!!! Maybe make sure the employees are paying attention to what's going on with the trucks. The truck was great and did the job I needed done but truly, you all need to make sure things are available and if not…let the customer know. Also, make sure we're paying for what needs to be paid for and nothing more.

The man who waited on us was very distracted and not really paying attention to us. The regular dolly we had requested was not there. We had to settle for a furniture dolly, which was not very helpful for our needs. Also, we had to ask again for the dolly when we went out to the van; it had not been loaded.

Everything has been great, except that my only complaint is at checkout the guy with the Orioles hat and ski mask (isn't this a professional workplace) couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone when we walked up to the counter. We had to be called over by the other guy who was professional.

The trailer was in great shape! Wish the ramp and opening was wide enough to accommodate motorcycle trikes up to 5' wide. The sides of the trailer could be smaller making the opening to the trailer wider. Many more motorcycle riders would be happy to use your trailers rather than buying a trailer that is rarely used.

We were absolutely hesitant to store our stuff at this location, especially outside furthest from the office. The whole area is unsafe and full of robberies. Our initial storage location we secured was closed on the day we needed to move so this was a very last resort choice. We honestly thought our storage unit would have been broken into at least once. We didn't expect to get our stuff out of storage because we expected it to get stolen. Over a year later, we secured all of our belongings safely. The staff made sure to monitor the units at all hours of the day. They were always so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this location despite its location. Great staff!

My unit was broken into several times. While overseas, I lost half of my valuable goods and furniture items. Spoke to the manager regarding the lack of security. In his own words, he told me there was nothing he could do to compensate me for my stolen goods. He advised me to make a police report My advice is to walk away from the Unsafe storage unit.

The guy that was working the office was helpful only when he was sitting at the desk or could sit in his truck and tell me and my movers that it was time to pack up and leave the facility early at 7pm instead of the unit access that was supposed to be until 10pm. The entire time he stood there at the door commenting and acting exasperated that we were taking so long. I felt intimidated, bullied, and harassed. Even my movers, who are very familiar with the staff and facility, were surprised and not happy with his treatment of us. We even tried to talk to him about letting us finish, but he was absolutely not having it and was making excuses about the location of the facility as to why we weren't keep loading my unit. 10/10 will NOT be using this facility for long.

Was there for several years. Andres was wonderful all that time. I was broken into in 2022. He was a great help during that trying time. But I was broken into again in 2023. I could not enter the unit due to bent door as a result of Dec 2023 vandalism. So Jan 2024 when it was not fixed I moved. Homeless people were everywhere including in the facility. Sleeping in the trash bin making that unusable, laying on the side of the building. Several gathering and sharing their finds. Obviously not a safe place to be. The door was unlocked frequently but when it was,one of the home less phoned inside and another came from inside and opened it! Please thank Andres for all the years of excellent care.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the actual storage facility was generally well maintained. However, the location is a problem. It's in a rough part of town, and there were no security gates. The parking lot was frequently littered with broken furniture and other trash. I watched people taking drugs, others passing out on the sidewalk near the storage unit. So while the staff did their best to keep the facility secure and presentable, I did not feel particularly safe there.

I booked this storage unit online weeks in advance. It was the only uHaul facility in town with a 10'x15' storage unit. I reserved it when there were a few left. I get here and the man didn't even know if this facility had any and then put my in a 10'x10' unit with nothing more than a $8 lock for free as compensation. Afterwards he said that he "thinks" they have 10'x15' units just none available but he wasn't even sure because he apparently didn't know how to use the computer system that tells him what they have. If I wanted a 10'x10' unit I could have chosen a more convenient facility than that one. I chose that one because it was supposed to be the only one in town with 10'x15' units. I do not like having to stack boxes so high. One, I'm short, 2 if they fall, my stuff is broken and it's on my dime to replace it. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income I can't afford to replace my things. When I turned in my 6'x12' enclosed trailer he just said he would send me an email for the return and I have yet to receive said email.

Theft, theft, and the possibility of my belongings getti g stolen constantly. Management has done nothing to secure the large storage units off of San Pedro. In the few months we were storaing our belongings there, many of the units were broken into. When I approached management, got excuses about hir8ng private security, that never happened. Put up a fence for crying out loud. I will never store anything at Uhaul ever again. The truck rentals are flipping awesome, stick to that.

The door was stuck around 8pm to the outside entranced I called the oncall manager he never called back and I asked he even call me back the next morning to let me know the door was fixed he never called back. I even sent an email. The people working at the front desk where nice. But the managers Customer service is terrible. Luckily after about 50 tries.

The facility, had problems with the door, sometimes the key would not give access. The area needs a fence around it for safety and key accesses. While the floor is clear of Debris, a device to scrub the floors would be advised. Especially with COVID. I have discontinued my storage in Albuquerque only and getting notice need to pay?

Central facility at Albuquerque NM. No security gate, the facility floor and ground are in need of a cleaning. Security, there is no fence surrounding the property, this means the property is at risk. The staff , only have good thing to say, Courteous and professional. This is near a military installation, and making good money on storage; however, it is a disappointment (because of Maintenance and security), which there's no excuse for ;because, making good money on government storage. My trailer attached had also not had not had a proper safety check and look as though had been repaired( however, door came undone at destination). I will be seeking another storage facility in ABQ, I don't feel safe and because of COVID-19 Cleanliness is a needed priority. This will create an inconvenience to me and cost me money. Because of the facility condition had no choice, but to carry insurance. I feel when a service is involved there are expectations for safety and cleanliness. .

The Problem I had was not your people. It was the Homeless. Someone was trying to Steel the tow Dolly, I used to pull my car. Someone bent my lock to get the tow Dolly. I told your office to put a fence around it.

Office never had change (not coin). I'd often try to pay my storage rent with $100 and seeing my rent was $95 I wouldn't think $5 in return would be huge strain but I was always treated like I was a nuisance. Items for towing, moving, storage and renting storage units are available to purchase but regardless no change. I found syringes in the elevator while visiting my unit on more than one occasion. Also my rent was going to be increased which prompted me to look at other facilities. Come to find out that I was paying much more compared to other Uhaul locations and with the increase at this location I was able to rent a bigger unit at a different location with better amenities. Other than the only Lady that works in the office the rest of the staff were unpleasant, unhelpful, rude and lazy. Never moving from in front of the computer screen or doing anything to genuinely assist customers. I'd never recommend this facility.

The facility is almost always clean but recently (on July 22nd) I visited to pick up some belongings and the elevator had a sticky floor, there was garbage in the halls, and there were numerous visible cockroaches in the space. When I returned yesterday to move out, the conditions were again improved. But late July was a horror show!!

The men there were less than forthcoming with assistance.The one man, Joe, seemed as if I was troubling him when I asked for assistance with removing the lock on the back of the trailer & opening it.

My card never worked in the RIGHT slot. Great big nasty guy didn't believe me and made me walk back and forth across the lot several times instead of just letting me swipe RIGHT inside store.

I had wanted to get my truck at Central because I am familiar with their service, but UHaul had set me up with Pete's Auto. I wasted 2-3 hours trying to get a truck. Finally back to Central took 5 min

The worker got my name wrong on record even when given an ID, she still could not input the name correctly. The key card access was also difficult to enter because there was a long delay to open.

The unit was conveniently located. When I had difficulty with opening the door, a service person was prompt in helping me out.

We had alot of problems getting our u-haul but staff for u-haul is great

Storage unit was adequate for my personal items. The staff wasn't friendly and didn't greet me or have much interaction beyond the transaction of making payments. The customer service was terrible.

Ridiculous how many times I had to call, leave messages, and go to the store to get my storage rental closed out! Removed my stuff on 6/2, yet the records say it was 6/15. Obnoxious & unprofessional.
