COY D | Premières impressionsThe line to wait in to get the reserved rental was 30 minutes long. Once I got to the counter, I was advised that the trailer I reserved a week in advance had been overbooked and was not available. The only one available was smaller and made our day more difficult. I returned the trailer the same day, before closing, and was assisted by a U-Haul employee. The next day, I got a call asking if I was going to be returning the trailer. When I told them I had returned it yesterday, they said, "oh, yeah, I see it out there, sorry."
CHRISTOPHER PI was supposed to pick up my reservation at 9am, which is when I got to this location. Self check-in wasn't working so I had to go in, and then proceeded to take 45 minutes to get my rental that I had reserved a week prior. They ended up having to manually rent to me and canceled my reservation because their system was being so slow. I had reserved a one way rental, and they booked me for an in-town, so after a full day of moving, when I got to the return location we had both confirmed, I was unable to return it. I had to spend the next hour on the phone w support and the pick up location to cancel my trip and re-dispatch me to the drop off location when I had specifically asked at the pick up location "Can I still use self return" and confirmed that it would be a different location.. So on my moving day I spent over two hours trying to sort the mess of U-haul. Luckily I was provided a discount but dang. Would not recommend to a friend.
EMILY SThis was the worst experience I have ever had! I was told I could receive a piece of equipment, but turns our it was only in Salida, CO. After my frustration subsided, I agreed to drive the 2 1/2 hours in the opposite direction of my trip to pick up the equipment. Two days before my reservation, I was called and informed this was never an option for me. This information was given to me by a manager named Taylor and a rep by the name of Mohammed. Everything about this reservation was wrong! I was highly disappointed in the entire process! The accountability for none of this was taken. It was simply said that I could not be accommodated. I will go with Budget or Penske for my next move!

JOSIAH PTruck was very dirty, had trash in the back of seats. It only had a quarter tank of gas and we almost got stuck on the road because of this. This location has gone downhill a lot in the last year.

ANGEL SI booked a trailer and storage unit months in advance. One week before my more my trailer pickup and drop off was changed. The day before my storage unit location was changed. I arrived after a 15 hour drive to be told my unit was given away.

The truck was dirty when we got in it and other employees working made no eye contact with customers seeming to not want to be bothered by us. Very crappy customer service.

Marvin LI worked with Michael and from my experience with him I believe he may be new because he kept having to ask for help from his coworker. Beforehand I called and made a reservation giving all my information, the time frame, mileage I needed and size truck. Not sure why but he had to ask me all over again, I was on a time crunch for a pick up so it wasted time going over it again. Michael didn't explain the documents well, just pointed and highlighted and even though he knew I would return it after hours he didn't explain how it works to drop it back off (figured that out on my own). I rented some furniture blankets and when we got outside he told me the truck is by the highway, handed me the keys and said to meet back at the garage door. From my past experiences they always pull up the truck and inspect it with me or at least offer that service. He didn't tell me how to identify which truck it was so I had to figure it out on my own wasting more time (big parking lot and almost slipped on ice) and when I pulled the truck back to the garage like he asked he had already closed the garage door and left the furniture blankets on the ground. It just seemed like Michael didn't care at all for customer service and wanted me out of there. Given that Michael seemed new I believe he needs to be coached on how to provide at least decent customer service and how to properly do his role.

VALERIE WI would suggest that when a customer has a reservation for a vehicle, That The customer waiting for a vehicle should not have to wait. Because he or she is most likely dealing with time sensitive issues with his or her move. In other words, please don't make customers wait for forty five minutes!!

ASSEFA WDear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to express my regarding the terrible customer service I experienced when returning a truck at your location. When I arrived at the designated return area, I waited for nearly an hour with no staff coming out to assist me. After waiting for such an extended period, I decided to go inside the building, only to find two employees sitting and using their phones. When I expressed my concern about waiting so long without assistance, one of the employees claimed that he had signaled for me to move the truck forward, but I failed to see his signal. He then decided not to assist me with the return process because of this misunderstanding. This response was shocking and deeply disappointing. I had parked my truck in the designated area marked with a sign instructing customers to "Stop and Wait Here." While I was waiting, this employee was inside the building, so there was no way I could have seen his signal. Instead of coming out to the designated area to inform me directly, he chose to stay inside and leave me waiting. This behavior reflects a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service. I believe it is U-Haul's responsibility to ensure that employees are trained to assist customers promptly and effectively. If a customer does not understand or see an employee's signal, it is the employee's duty to communicate clearly and ensure the issue is resolved, rather than abandoning the customer. I request that U-Haul review this incident and provide a satisfactory resolution. I trust that you will take appropriate steps to improve the service at this location and ensure such behavior does not happen again. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MINH NYou sent me an email letting me know I had 30 days to get my money to you for my storage unit. Then you sold all my belongings before that 30 days was up. Check your records. The law says 90 day before you can sell my property. YOU DID NOT GIVE ME THE FULL 90 DAYS!! Now all of my property is gone!!!

From the moment I picked up the truck, I was met with issues that were both frustrating and alarming. The vehicle was handed over with low tire pressure, difficulty starting, and a check engine light illuminated-conditions that were casually dismissed as "sensor issues." These are not minor inconveniences; they're signs of neglect, and they left me questioning the safety and reliability of the vehicle. The customer service experience only compounded my frustration. Long wait times at the help desk left me waiting over an hour before I could even begin driving. What should have been a smooth process felt unnecessarily chaotic and unorganized. Then came the issue with refueling. Despite my repeated efforts to fill the gas tank, the nozzle shut off as if it was full. The gas station employee assured me the tank was filled and advised me to continue driving. Yet, I was later charged twice for insufficient fuel-charges that felt both unfair and exploitative after I had done everything I could to ensure the tank was full. This experience left me feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. The hidden fees, the subpar vehicle conditions, and the lack of accountability were disheartening. Renting a truck should not come with this level of stress and distrust. For these reasons, I will never turn to U-Haul again and would urge others to consider alternatives when seeking a rental service.
Nina SI told the gal who was helping me that I already had a reservation idk if she couldn't find it in the computer but then she ended up ringing it up all over again. And charged me 250 dollars more than I was quoted for i asked her why it was more and she told me it must be due to taxes. I had to go back for a box dolly because the one I asked for wasn't in the truck. I was sent to this location when the Buckley location realized the truck they had for me was dead. I would have rather worked with the gentlemen over there. He seemed at least like he knew what he was doing and tried his best to help me rectify the situation. Moving is hard enough without everything else going wrong on top of it. I was getting a1 way 20 ft truck I was supposed to have a car dolly and was given a trailer.

Then the person I was supposed to get a call from never called. Them when I went to close my storage unit out there was no clerks around I was about to call while in the lobby. She had a bad attitude when she finally came in and I informed her I never got a call then she turned it around and said I talked to the wrong people but I talked to her. Unprofessional and the elevator I thought was going to break down there was no inside left part of the door. Glad I'm gone.

Andrea and her staff under her guidance went above and beyond to assist me with my move-out and truck rental, I am disabled with severe neck and back spasms due to injury, Andrea offered to personally help me with moving out of my unit. Over several days, I was fortunate enough to observe her interaction with numerous customers, she interacted and personally assisted them equal to my experience. Words cannot truly express the character, concern, empathy, and genuine attitude and attention she gives to ALL of her customers. Although she has a great team, She is Clearly the Alpha. One person do reservations and the two other were acting like the were working. One employees was on a personal call. I heard her talking to her man. It wasn't work related. I asked for someone to help. There were customers walking out. There were 5 to 6 customers in line after a left. No one apologized.

I understand that's not the employees' fault, and they're doing the best they can, but it's beyond frustrating as a customer. Lines were long each time I was in the store and they moved very slowly. When I checked in to my storage unit, the person helping me didn't explain the access card system to disarm the alarm. As a result I accidentally set it off, my card kept showing error messages, and I had to wait in line for half an hour to fix the problem.

Delicia P | Expérience généraleI have had this storage since 2017 and I don't like the fact that you kept going up on the price every six months to a year and when I moved out I left a chair that was in good condition and was threatened to be charged for leaving trash AFTER I was packed up and had no where to put the chair. The customer service wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best. I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone because it is way more expensive than all of the new storage places popping up and they are not changing prices after a year.

The guy at the front kept asking us if we were "checked in" after our key card wouldn't work. But he never explained what that actually meant. We had no idea we had to scan the card on the right side of the building then scan on the left to open the doors. Kinda frustrating.

After hours number for manager is disconnected. Site is littered with trash and sketchy people wandering around the building. Trying to speak with local store on the phone is nearly impossible. I'm told that when they are too busy, calls are forwarded to central line. When I call the cell number that is listed for manager, it is disconnected. When I ask for an email for local store, I am told that it is not possible to provide one. When I ask for a return phone call, I do not receive one. When I go to uhaul.com chat, no one responds on the other end. Any suggestions on how to speak with local location on the phone?
Casey C | Déménagement en ligneChecked in online and got access code to the building as well as a locker number, but once we arrived after traveling across the country, after office hours on Sunday evening, the access code DID NOT work. So we then paid for a second locker online and checked in online again, and again we received a locker # and an access code to the building - and that one again DID NOT work! We called U haul customer service and after 40 mins on hold, they could not help us, we tried reaching the facility manager as his number was listed as an emergency number "reach out after hours for emergency" and his number was disconnected. We got into a building because other customers let us in, as we were standing there at 7pm with a trailer full of stuff to store. We accessed our lockers we paid for, alarm went off every single time we opened it, but nobody showed up to check in on it (not even once)! Some other people showed up with access code too and it did not work for them either.. If you can't provide storage services, then don't do it and stick to hauling.. we are moving out within the next few weeks and taking our business and money elsewhere. Merci.

To be treated like crap just to throw away two items. At the end of the rental i was accused that I could be shutting out another person rental. It that were to happen. They would of have to have access to the building, access to the lock, then storage container was verified by employee. If all of these steps were done then how could o close out another person unit? Given the fact the system showed I've been to two other U-Haul locations that day. One including the rental truck used.

My problem was the truck I drove from Bryan Texas to Denver Colorado was the raggedy truck I've ever drove I called about the trailer tire , I even called about the check engine light being on and it was leaking fluid but they told me to drive it anyways. I still had over 2 days on the rental and it was not supposed to be handed in that day.
