I booked online and didn't realize I accidentally booked two small units on the inside. The front agent was so helpful and she corrected my mistake and got me in a unit I actually needed! I was very greatful for her help!

DAROL CWe made a last-minute decision to rent a U-Haul to move some furniture and walked in to the U-Haul without a reservation set up online. The young lady who helped us was very efficient and friendly and made the process so easy for us!
RICHARD HOffered a month free but I never received it. Hours were inconvenient to get a hold of the office as I had to work during those hours. Original unit given was broken and had issues, the office did move the unit but it caused us to not get the discounted price. When tried to call couldn't get through and never received callbacks.

RICHARD LI arrived at the time I had scheduled, and it seemed like the store was understaffed. Also, the system was slow and hard for the agent to use. I ended up having to have my purchase split across two orders and I never received a paper copy of my receipts. Since I returned the rope I purchased, I was delayed when I returned the trailer because I didn't have a copy of the receipt. To be clear, I am a satisfied customer, and the local staff was great, but my experience was definitely not trouble free.

MICHAEL WI would prefer to opt out of the pads/blankets. I didn't want them or need them or use them. I had to keep track of them and store them for 8 months. I'm sure many people would choose them as an option. The key is "as an option." Betsy and Pam the delivery and pickup drivers were both super pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful!!!
Doug AEveryone at your store was professional, however Kendra was outstanding she went out of her way to make sure that I was satisfied. She definitely deserves a 10 in every category. I will definitely return and refer people to your store .

LATOSHA PThis was a good locaton and well run. The on line order process was easy. The pick up was great! All of my supplies were set aside for me. The gas level was a little over estimated. They had a free lock for me, but unfortunately did not fit, so I had to buy one. The inside windsheild was very dirty and I had to wash it myself at a gas station. The Vehicle ran as expected, but several Service messages came on screen. I learned when I brought it back that there was a button that I could have pushed that shut off towing. But I'm not sure that was the issue. Returning the truck was easy, however, they were very busy and only had one person at the front desk and so I had to wait about 20 minutes. They did refund me for supplies not used along with my receipt. Overall the process was above average.
DANIEL JThe store was clean and open on time as I was the first one in on this day and the customer service was great, he greeted me with a smile and handle my order with patience and care. I received my order and when I returned, I was met by another associate who was a gentleman only problem was he was smoking those stank cigars or cigarettes and all that stank smoke was blowing in my face otherwise I would have given an excellent rating.

DANIEL BThe online check-in process was time consuming and cumbersome. I ultimately wasn't able to complete my check-in before I went to the counter. The driver seat in my truck was badly damaged and uncomfortable. The low tire light was on as well when I rented the truck.
Thomas TWhen I got into the truck, the back tire was 40 psi under. When I went back in to find someone, there was no one in the store and I had to wait about 10 more minutes to rectify the situation.
CACY MThere was a problem with my reservation (which I made on Monday, 3/10) when I arrived. It was no longer on the app, and the person at the desk told me that it had been canceled because someone with a similar name had had a truck out for over a month. Why was my account mixed up with this? I have been a regular customer for years!

CORNELIA JTheir was a little confusing point at the start of the rental with checking out the Vechicle and when I returned i put more gas in the truck than what was in it from the beginning. I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was lying or being untruthful. The staff was a little slow with digging Vechicles out from the snow.

DOROTHY HThere was no direction on where to drop off the trailer. I asked at the "drop-off" area for trucks and got a very gruff answer "not here - go in the back" and someone will meet you there. I went back there but there was no indication of where I was supposed to put it. Finally a guy did come out but was completely unfriendly as there was basically no communication at all, he just grunted and pointed as I backed it in, then essentially walked away without even saying thanks or goodbye. OK so this should seem normal I guess but I didn't really feel like a valued customer.
Paul SBetter customer service. The equipment should already be in the vehicle especially if the person has a reservation. Have the vehicle close to entrance so the person renting doesn't have far to go to get in.

For this recent trailer, the man that hooked up the trailer did a terrible job. 2 of the trailer chains came loose/unattached in the highway, causing sparks. The police pulled me over. I like this location because it's convenient to me; however, i will not rent from here again.

I had to throw away a lot of my stuff from family pictures (of my chidren as babies and pics of my "DECEASED"brothers and my dad) I CAN NOT get the pictures back!, clothing, beds, bathroom items, and a stove and a TV! I've sent pictures after pictures and videos I'm hurt but what mostly hurt me are my family pictures #MYMEMORIES! Your insurance company that you guys uses took advantage of my situation and did what they wanted and wouldn't even listen to me! I'm the one that lost out on my items!!

But I had 3 negative experiences this week that have led me to never use this facility again or recommend it to others: 1) When all of my belongings were removed, I saw that the floor was covered with mouse droppings. I now fear that the rugs, clothing and linens that I stored there are contaminated and cannot be used. 2) When I moved out of my unit last Sunday, the office was closed. So I planned to stop by in the next few days to cancel my lease. On Monday morning, I got an e-mail stating that my credit card would be charged for another month on June 12. I went to the office at 11:00 a.m. to cancel before the autopayment went through. Both the person on duty and the manager told me it was too late because the charge had already gone through. I needed to notify them the day before the payment. Since it has been 10 years since I rented the locker, I had no knowledge of this. I asked if they could make an exception since I have paid on time every month for 10 years and they said no. IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS? 3) The storage building wreaked of marijuana smoke.

I was recovering from surgery so he called me and had me on speaker we were advised that all I had to do was call the store and advise them Everything was out. It took 3 phone calls and even then someone called to advise me that my payment was due. Everything was moved out on Thursday Oct.27th During one call I was told they were entering a note and were calling the Goodhope location to have someone take a look and confirm the move out. I could have been charged for the lack of communication after we were advised on what steps to take. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I have asked the staff multiple times if they can assist me closing down my locker on October 12th but yet it took them 5 days before they officially closed it down on October 17th. This is the worst storage company I have worked with and I will not be returning.

There should always be on acetylene torch around for that issue. My kids mother received a letter that I was late with my payment a week and half after I paid it and then another week and a half later I get the same letter. Not good people don't get notifications out early enough. I guess this is a reoccurring problem because when I went to pay I told her I never got a notice and she waive the late fee…been there twice and they still didn't change the name to the correct name. Didn't affect me I dropped the ballI was just thinking about others. Could lead to serious altercations. Fix ASAP! Thank you.

Asking me to move the vehicle I said I couldn't unless it was towed and I am not paying another tow to move it to a different spot. The employee told me to park the car there and that is what I did. The storage unit rented to me was too small for the 26 foot U-Haul truck that I also rented from U-Haul. There was trash everywhere. John David checked us in this morning though and he was awesome and very efficient. The outside guys were great. Inside staff not so much.

Two months later they claim I wasn't moved out but I was because they told me something was there but I know it wasn't and the last time I was there I told them I was moving then and they said fine just take the lock with me which I did after clearing out.... This was over a year ago and yet they keeping saying I owe money for a unit I am not occupying. My mother told them I had nothing in the unit and I have told them this as well. So no I have nothing good to say.

My issues were not consistent enough to give a "No" response to some of the above questions even though if there was a rating scale of 1 - 5, this location would be in the middle or lower. There was some kind of water leak into the indoor unit that I had that soaked the lower stacked boxes. The boxes then collapsed under the weight of the boxes on top and some thing got crushed. Clothing ended up having mold in them. All of the boxes on the floor were stuck to the floor and things that were wood had water damage. Dealing with the staff was a crap shoot. In person I've never had a problem. Especially in leaving the facility for the last time. That gentleman was VERY helpful. Any conversation over the phone was met with hostility. When a mistake, that was not mine was made, I was met with a nasty attitude.

Aside from it I felt hassled a month ago I received a call from an agent who was very rude and augmentative. Out of that it event I was prompted to end my contract with U-Haul. Thanks for the storage. I will definitely try somewhere else next time.
