The only small issue is that my son wasn't told that the wiring harness was within the vehicle rather than being attached directly to the mount. We had to look around for it as well as the ball mount. It would have been great if we were told these things after the installation was completed. It was for my son's car so he had no idea what to look for. Otherwise, the installation was completed in a timely manner. We are definitely happy with the overall service. I have used this location several times over the last few years and have always been very happy with the service I receive.

This used to be my "go to" location when I needed a rental. Most of my issues came from U-Haul customer service, which this location had to take care of. But the lady who checked me in was easily frustrated when I mentioned the Tow Dolly price was wrong. The owner got it corrected for me though and fixed the bad turn signal on the Dolly. Everything felt disorganized.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Stephen Braun for the exceptional service he provided during my recent hitch installation. Stephen was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. He completed the installation quickly and went above and beyond by assembling part of the hitch and placing it securely in my trunk so it wouldn't be at risk of theft while not in use. That extra step really impressed me and showed genuine care for the customer experience. I would gladly give Stephen a full 5-star rating and highly recommend his work. He absolutely deserves recognition-and, in my opinion, a bonus-for the outstanding service he delivered.

The first trailer I hooked up to was inoperable (lighting malfunction). The second trailer had bad tires that eventually swelled and almost blew out. It caused severe vibrations that shook my entire vehicle and also damaged my motorcycle I was hauling.

He provided top notch customer service., great energy, and detail oriented with questions and concerns regarding which truck would be the best option along with which insurance plan would be the best option. I had a hitch installed on a new Honda Passport SUV. Steve was careful and a perfectionist on the install. He communicated with me when he had a better way to run electrical wire. This is my second hitch at this dealer and they do a great job at a fantastic price compared to a dealer.

Return process leaves to be desired. The person who took delivery of the rental told me all was set and nothing further needed to be done. 3 hrs later he called me to ask if I had returned the rental or wanted it extended. It sure looks like the return process can use some revision …

Trailer was clean but a fender on passenger welds were broken. Did not hurt the performance but it was noticed right after it was loaded. Trailer was awesome and pulled extremely well.

Me and my Husband had been renting there for two years! One of the employees went in and stole my husband mom candles who was deceased. we made a police report it was Wendy daughter who done it. Secondly BRIAN HIBBS WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL HE WAS THE REASON WHY WE LEFT HE TALKED TO ME AND MY HUSBAND LIKE WE WERE BENEATH HIM. HE WAS TALKING SO LOUD I ASKED COULD HE LOWER HIS VOICE YOU ARE LETTING EVERYONE KNOW OUR BUSINESS. HE SAID IT DOESN'T MATTER YOU ARE STILL BEHIND TWO PAYMENTS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE BECAUSE IF YOU'RE NOT HIS COLOR WHICH IS EUROPEAN CAUCASIAN! HE WILL BE LITTLE YOU. When the employee hooked the trailer up he said you're all good to go. While driving as it got dark a state away we noticed there were no lights on the trailer, no blinker or break lights, nothing which by the way put our schedule way behind. We were told by u haul roadside that it was our vehicle so we took it in and had it tested and it was definitely not due to our vehicle. I do believe personally I should get some type of refund due to having to buy wires and reflector lights just to be safe. The location in Little Rock should be looked at and/or shut down.

The driver side front light was hanging. The gas was not on what the ppl said it was then they dont check in when you return the uhaul they wait til the next day and charge your card again saying you returned the uhaul late when you didnt and they wait to check the uhaul back in

The only person at this location who had any idea of how to treat a customer was the man who hooked up the trailer and unhooked on return. The other interactions were very rude. Very lacking in how to interact with customers. Won't be back.

Whoever helped me was the best I've ever had an experience with. I have rented 4 or 5 times in the last two months due to moving and the guy was twice as fast as any other person I dealt with. Can't say enough about how fast he got me in and out. He actually checked me in also when I brought the truck back, great then as well. I never fill these out by the way.

We have been renting a truck (20" or 26') monthly since April 2020, but every time we come in (1st Monday of the month) it seems like it might as well be the first time. Is there not some way there can be a "frequent flyer" program where our check in could be expedited. Also this is for picking up food for a food bank, it would be appreciated if there was a free rental every 5 rents or maybe a 20 % discount. Thanks Gary Hooker, Parkway Place Baptist Church

I will never use UHaul again. The woman at the Kanis location was rude and impossible to work with. We were treated like world class trash and I have never been so humiliated and aggravated at the same time. The rental unit was so far away from the unloading dock and it was so small and since that woman was so hateful we decided to just to use a different facility.

Attempts were made twice to break in our storage unit. The first time, they were able to damage the door enough to enter and get several hundreds of dollars of items. The manager never said sorry nor was he helpful at all. Staff were nice and helpful but the manager lacks any concern for the victim of theft. He was too busy to help us because he was working on other paperwork. The whole thing was very frustrating, because most managers know they need to do consumer assistance no matter the situation. Another attempt was made to break in. After that, we paid to have our remaining items moved to other storage.

I wasn't able to keep the 2nd floor storage because of the ramp.. unable to push my furniture up the ramp... there was flat carts to use... Please think about a freight elevator in the nearer future...so I cancelled and U-Haul refunded my $.... The size needed wasn't available on the 1st floor...路

I was assigned a unit that I did not have access to. There were extra trailers and U-Haul equipment in the way. We had to go inside and asked someone to move it even then there were cars parked in the area which made it almost impossible to reach my unit. If we cannot access the larger units, why even assign them to anyone? I am upset only with this location on Kanis, U-Haul in general has been good to me in the past especially the location on baseline in Southwest Little Rock. It has lots of space to unload, With nothing in the way. I needed something closer to home so I picked the Kanis location but I should have just driven the extra miles.

Although I had a pretty good experience with this facility, I experienced mold and mildew on my items and clothing up on removing my belongings. I paid for a controlled climate purposely to avoid this but ended ip with mold and mildew anyway. I am highly disappointed that this happened even though I paid for the controlled climate unit. These irems now myst be replaced.

There were only people that were willing to help customers outside even if they were trying to call the automated call cycle would be on because imaybe they are two hours or an hour from smoke break and they put out the cigarette to run in and you pull up into a handicap spot because my hang tag showed inside my truck but no one came to the back until I had asked a young African American to move the other truck to as well because we were trying to get as much as possible out my storage and that young man helped to move every piece carefully as possible so as not too make much movement because somehow things had shifted and I knew who used my code only me unless given access by me but I had to be there to physically put it in by night or day…which is why I chose your largest outside unit @management…Mr Chris…I was your client in the full size unit that held the most furniture because of CoVid I was immediately released to go home to NLR because I lived in town about 30 minutes from campus I packed what I could until Augustnand I moved completely with your biggest truck and a one way reservation to Little Rock but we got there late at night but I knew my instructions really well..and the lock I bought at the Uhaul @ pickup of truck somehow didn’t get put o one no more than the 2nd evening I was notified that there was no lock on my unit and truly there was a busted blue lock left open & hanging on barely to all my precious so I hoped everything was okay and carefully put a new lock on… and it’s still in my truck from that day to this and Mr Chris I know you read poor or good reviews this one is bitter sweet because I lived the 25 access when I learned immediately to follow the assigned path cause 24 clearance I support the payment and you keep the film footage and if you roll them back to the Wednesday before thanksgiving a young man by the lady name of “Chisholm” assisted me and the ladies sat inside never came out to see what was going on nor did they answer the phone as I drove all the way to my storage because my brother in law was frustrated because of a disability( veteran tags disabled due to back he couldn’t go back and forth because he waited for me and came to the truck and I stopped at the kiosk as they’d told him and I peered thru the glass quickly to see one person being assisted which was a white lady getting immediate assistance and one black guy who saw me looking in and felt uncomfortable 🥴 as he turned away his glance…so I bloated my horn because I knew it was a holiday and it was two young ladies at the desk who’d look or listen to the phone and not attend to anything or anyone outside those doors black or white make nor female….which one younger and very cute woman a little chunky but was very kind because she saw all of my broken pieces of antique furniture broken and busted laying on the ground and also I taped everything I didn’t submit it because my heat had gone out in my home and I was displaced so I was fighting my health because of a second major knee surgery torn meniscus…and as I lay in the bed I’m trying not to cry anymore over the loss of furniture that can’t be replaced be cause I so carefully moved and wrapped everything I could in Russellville as my younger brother 6’4 at least 309 prior to CoVid 29 status which he caught almost twice because he’s a very hard worker but suffered from undiagnosed sleep apnea , back log that killed so many as they waited in line with the VA to get their treatment for back that got thrown out because you’d fear nothing to jump out of a plane and hit the ground running if your bands of men by blood 🩸 or not and you took an oath as I do now as well every time I testify as a expert witness I mute the phone and let the courts no my status in advance because the knee pain started as I started to climb stairs slower in beautiful town home had to be locked up with the beautiful new furniture I hand picked with care and had it expertly delivered at one hundred dollars 💵 to get my 1st check because I couldn’t drive back and fourth physically at the time because my body could t take the one hour and 15 to thirty minutes as long as you’re flowing with the traffic toward ATU WITHOUT POLICE / and many other variables controlled by Mother Nature and not just the police and yes I’m African American woman and very proud of my full faculty status that I was asked to come to ATU for a meeting with the Rehabilitation board that I still sit on but the coordinator is much older and yet remains a very proud Air Force veteran that retired as full director at Ft roots and met me by addjunt status on line because my program is to help people like me fat tall small wheelchair or barely walking we all need a little help but don’t make wait to respond because the woman that helped me makes me cry because she has a pure heart but not complexion because I know the pain watching those with addictions and how they suffer and yet we still turn a blind eye ..not me

I held a storage unit with this facility for about four years. I paid on time. As time went on the facility began to go down hill. They removed the main gate to the storage units, thus providing less security. Many of the other tenants were delinquent on payments. Uhaul staff started loitering about the facility at odd hours appearing to be sketchy. Finally my unit was burglarized and the thieves covered their tracks by putting their own lock on my unit. It was methodical and planned, giving the appearance of being an inside job. Don't leave your stuff here. They didn't even sound surprised when I reported it because they didn't care.

Only problem I had with U-Haul was there was no grace period for payments. A late fee was assessed immediately. I understand sometimes I was a couple weeks late and I understand the late fee in that instance, but when I was only a day late I was assessed a $30 late fee and that's hard when someone lives paycheck to paycheck.

The unit and storage areas were clean and access was convenient, etc. pricing was also reasonable. The biggest frustration point was difficulty in reaching a person over the phone. This was a consistent struggle over the years.

Please clean up the parking lot i had to get 2 brand new tires bc I had 2 screws and 1 nail in 2 different tires. My husband picked up a large screw with a wing nut attached. I'd like to sue yall for new tires but I can't prove it even through I picked up countless nails and screws and even warned other people check your tires !!!

Your GM is a racist. She was very rude to me and she refuse to respond to my emails or ones from my family. I paid you all for about three years, and when i was hospitalized for emergency surgery, my daughter asked for a possible ext. Dhe even had a letter from my doctor. Your female GM said, I don't care if she is sick. She has to pay. My daughter never said she would pay, only asked for a few days after the 3rd. So, no I will not be telling anybody about how good you are. You all should be ashamed. She is a rude, racist who does nit have a heart of compassion. I paid, yes I did!

I visited Uhall on the ninth of this month, as usual to pay my bill or earlier, italk to one of the supervisors about what kind of help that they were doing for their Customers due to Covid 19, he only offered me late fees coverage, that's not a issue i am never late been using the storages for three years was having problems cause i am now unemployed, couldn't GET ANY HELP UNBELIEVABLE

The employees were very friendly and helpful, but the facilities seemed to have many issues. A lot of interior lights were burned out on multiple occasions when we visited, the gate to access the storage building area was always open when we visited, we noticed rat poison laying around, multiple units near my own had cards on the door that said they had mold growing inside and remained that way the entirety of the time I had my unit, and the insulation on the ceiling in my unit was falling apart so badly that all of my items had to be cleaned off upon removal. As I said, the staff was always kind and helpful, but the facilities could use some better upkeep.

I had a free one month storage as a bonus for renting from Uhaul which in itself was a plus. The staff went above and beyond in networking for me to help sell the fridge I was storing, saving me storage fees. I am very grateful to them for their efforts and time. It is a blessing to have caring people, especially during the time of a stressful move. Thank you again management and staff of Kanis Rd store in Little Rock.

My only complaint is that the outdoor access storage unit I reserved online was not actually available when I arrived. There were indoor and larger units available, just not what I asked for or what was confirmed online. The storage unit I ended up with was $30 more per month, which will add up over time. I was told that the U-Haul website confirmation doesn't necessarily mean anything for the local U-haul businesses. I've had this problem before where the right hand doesn't know (or care) what the left hand is doing. The local folks did try to accommodate my exist request, but it would have meant going to a different branch/facility, one further away from my residence. The average rating is for the complete (and final day of the) U-Haul experience.

John was great. Helped me solve a problem with a reservation with ease. Huge property with plenty of room to turn around, park, and manage my trailer and vehicles. Best U-Haul I've been to ever.

The manager Coley handle my business very prompt and professional but I was shocked when he told that this location didn’t offer a storage free for the month when you rent a truck..

The $30 late fee on the 3rd day after your due date is like racketeering other storage facilities charge a $1 a day when late.

I would recommend this Uhaul if you're in need of a storage or a truck if or when you move. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

I ended my contract mid month and was expecting a pro-rated refund of the last month paid. That would be my only gripe and they raised my fees 2 months into my agreement. Bait and switch.

The staff could not have been any more courteous, helpful or accommodating. My UBox storage arrangements/needs were anything but ordinary, but Allison and her team made it easy every step of the way.

We had a great experience until we moved out. Our card was ran for the whole month with no prorating options. That is a cheap way to do business. U-haul should really look at amending the policy.
