Michael HMy only disappointment is that ; In January 2025 I went to Uhall to cancel my contract of 6years with Uhall, the man in the office that day did not notify me that the elevator was bad. He processed all my documents both for the cancelation and for the truck I rented, only for me to get there to see that the elevator was not working. I felt so disappointed. My movers was paid for a job they did not do and I could not go to work because I had called in the that purpose. U-Hall should learn to notify their customers when things go wrong like that. Even the guy who attended to me, being a worker at U-Hall should have known that the elevator was bad and was supposed to have told me even before processing the paperwork. Because of that, I had to pay for extra two months because No one at U-Hall taak the pain to infor. Customers that the elevator is back to service. That was very bad. But in spite of this, I enjoyed doing business with U-Hall. Thank you

FERNANDO NI need credit. I reserved trailer RV3851D. The employee Brandon Collins failed to hook up my trailer. After over an hour of waiting and asking multiple employees a cashier had to hook me up. The trailer had no running lights, so I had to drive with my flashers on at night. I was charged for 2 days after retuning late with all the setbacks that were caused by the location.

MOHAMED AOnly problem I had was I couldn't return it on my lunch break on February 13th so I had to pay an extra day to drop it off when I got off work. I used a little over 20 miles and paid $101 dollars. I'd be more satisfied if I could at least be reimbursed for a half day

SYED FPower was out in the side of the building that my unit was on. They made us leave before 10pm and we had to get some storage with a friend long distance away. Very poor service, told nothing about power outage during rental.

Carl LThe power was out on Sunday, January 26th. Tyler was very helpful that day and explained all I needed to get started. Five stars to Tyler! The following day Monday, was my encounter with a different Male staff who was so rude. This gentlemen had the nerve to ask only me for me ID (all i needed to do was get in to access my storage since the power was out). I don't know his name, but he was bald and Caucasisn. He kept belittling customers (particulary, an Asian man). It was disgusting to witness. Then he had the nerve to challenge his (African American) coworker who was attempting to assist a customer. The man left the customer to unnecessarily validate that he had done his job correctly. He (Caucasian) was very ornery and his work ethic was terribly distasteful. I had been standing in line watching his menacing behavior hoping to avoid speaking with him but I had no choice as the other other male employee was still busy. Since I left my ID in the car, I had to leave the counter. I decided to just leave since he left such a bad taste in my mouth. I hope to never encounter him again. He needs to work in the back somewhere. Maybe washing trucks, sorting mail, and/or cleaning. Anything that keeps him away from customers because he just doesn't have what it takes to deal with people. Your establishment has high standards and people who can't understand that especially when dealing with customers need to find somewhere else to work. Thanks for your time.

STEPHEN S | Expérience généraleDon't curse at customers. I had concern in regards to a trailer I rented out with one of the parking lights being out. I pointed it out to the gentleman that was loading the trailer on my truck and he brushed me off and continued to talk on the phone. Trailer already had some light damage before I picked it up so I snapped some photos. When I can back to return it a couple of hours later, I had informed the lady I spoke to that I had gotten pulled over because the officer had noticed that the parking light was out on the driver side making it slightly more difficult for other vehicles to see the trailer. I informed him that it was a rental and that I had pointed it out but no one seemed to have cared. The lady at the front desk understood and said that they would note that down for the morning manager. I also mentioned that it was unprofessional that someone be on the phone while someone is trying to speak to them in regards to the rental and the same gentleman came from out of the back room and started to cuss at me, calling me the n-word and a b*tch. He stated that he was talking to his grandmother. Regardless of whom he is speaking to, if you need to take a phone call, go to the side and take the call, but don't hinder other people that have concerns and you just don't care. He also mentioned that if I got pulled over that it was my fault. I don't understand how that would be my fault when no did anything about said light. One other thing he said was that if I had a problem, I should switch out trailers which I had no idea I could do because again, no one mentioned anything. Overall my experience here was absolutely terrible, I don't know what kind of people U-Haul hires, but this was very unprofessional.

Units and facility is always clean, everyone is helpful. The only thing I would comment on is the elevator seems to be down frequently. I had to go up and down the stairs repeatedly on one occasion while taking stuff out of a unit. That was not fun while I had my arms full.

The only person in that place that was professional was the manager. I feel sorry for him his staff need team work/etiquette classes . Unfortunately my last day at the facility my experience was not the greatest. The elevator broke down the evening of 5/17/24. I had to put back what i intended to move out. The following day. I had to use the stairs to move heavy stuff. I was told that they could not tell me when the elevator would be fixed. Other than this mishap I was pleased with the facility.

It was difficult to keep swiping in and out for each entrance while unloading. Once you walk out you can not get back in, and with 5 peiople total moving in my help group it took almost twice as long, because each person got locked out. then when I swip to attempt to open the door, the system would log me out. plus the three swipe panels. Im all for security, but locking me out was troublesome.

The facility was well kept which is why the rating was given average due to my distraction being resolved after the dispute as well as having a clean and seem less unit to use for the time I did. Without that I would have given this location 2 stars

They made me come back to video tape the empty and clean room and show them before they remove me from the system. What a lazy crew. Instead of an outdoor drive up unit, they gave me an indoor unit that was a 5 minute walk from the entrance. I dont own to even use the unit, too much hassel. The manager (same guy in all the photos, bald with a goatee and mustache) was a total jerk to the lady in front of me and to me.

This facility is a such a shame to Haul's reputation.pls. either shut down this horrendous place or replace the entire office staff there ? Staff members often smoking weed during their cigarette breaks. And charged me a late fee. A fault not of my own. I still did not have my cc and was waiting on usps. I emailed them to let them know the issues and a nice gentleman (customer service) said I could get late fee taken out but to call them. I did call them and the customer serv. woman told me she couldn't take out the fee. Therefore I will be closing my account and the fact that I couldn't get a late fee taken out speaks volumes. Uhaul has also hiked up prices again and I will just go find a cheaper and nicer place that will work with me.

When I asked for the number of corporate I was told that I could find it online. Being out of state I've only visit the facility once. My assistant experience with the other staff has been great.

The evening shift supervisor or lead staff Yubi Guzman is always pleasant to customers and always willing to go an extra mile just to help customers, I even told her that she works like a strong man. Because of she and the General manager customer service skills, I will always make the Uhaul at sugarland Airport area on highway 6 my first choice when dealing with Uhaul. My negative experience: the morning shift supervisor or lead staff, she was never polite in dealing with me and if she was the only person at that location as a Uhaul storage staff, I would have never revisited that location ever again to do business with Uhaul, I even tried not to remember her name. The rest of the staff has great customer service so I will say overall, they are a great team.

David m | Expérience généraleMy unit was broken into and a bulk of my items stolen like my washer and dryer, 2 tv's and a range of other items. Manager was very rude and not helpful. He was only helpful when the police arrived and requested his assistance in the matter. There is apparently according to the manager, no cameras to see who or when my stuff was stolen. I remember specifically asking the sales girl for a storage with AC because i had a washer and dryer etc and did not want them to rust in an outside unit. She told me there was none and instead gave me these 2 units in the end corner. It really random how my unit was then broken into and the specefic items in mentioned in check in was stolen. I will never do business at this location ever again or recommend it.
