This person runs a convenience store and a Vape Shop. Thier knowledge od what I needed was lacking. I wanted to pick up the truck in a location closer to where I was doing the loading/unloading. When I was booking the vehicle I was told that if they could not get a vehicle to the preferred location they would provide some free kms. When I arrived for the truck pick up I was informed that no "free" kms would be provided. It cost me an additional 45 kms at 1.09 per. Not a pleasant surprise.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThey gave me an higher bill compared to the estimate. Even the miles mentioned is exactly same. They robbed me and as i was overwhelmed at that moment with moving. I was not able to pursue further on this.
ABHINAV RThanks for asking. It was a very strange experience and I suspect fraud. I made a reservation at one location in Belleville (Parker Street) but received a phone call form "head office at Uhaul Canada" to say that if I switched locations to a new location to support the new location (Wilkins Street) I would get a discount ($79 cents/km instead of 1.29/km). Although skeptical because it seems like a strange thing to do to the local established locations, I said yes. Then, when I checked out it was $1.29/km). I do not appreciate being scammed.
Peter FIt took a while to get checked in. He seemed unsure of my booking details and asked me the same questions several times.
Teresa BStaff was very friendly, polite and helpful.
